Brent in the furniture department is awesome! I spoke with other associates that seemed unconcerned about my situation, and then was later transferred to Brent. He has exceptional customer service and is truly kind. Made my experience much better!

Like to try different foods from European countries. They always have interesting selections for all types of foods. Wide variety of furniture & other household items. Friendly staff, clean store. Good location for shopping. Huge parking area. Next door to harbor freight & hobby lobby. Across road from Aldis.

Only leaving 1 star because 0 stars is not an option! We bought a set of sofas in November from here, shortly after the stitching on one of them began to come undome, shortly after that the stitching on the seat of another began to come undone. Called and spoke to Big Lots and we were told we could bring them in with our receipts to exchange for new couches. We arrived at big lots with our couches loaded up and they came outside to look at them and told us them had “excessive wear”. THEY STILL LOOK BRAND NEW! On several occasions we have had to deal with a man named Andy that works there and he has zero customer services and is an extremely rude individual. We will not be making any future purchases!

My battery died and I did not have my jumper cables with me. They were about to lock the doors closed when I ran up from a couple of blocks away. I had to leave the family with the car. They helped me right to where the cables were. They also offered to come give me a jump when they finished closing but I had help on the way. What a great staff.

Because they cant keep furniture in stock. Then they tell you they dont know when or if they will get it in or not.

Employees are So helpful! If I cant find something in the stores someone will stop what they are doing and help me look.The food items are terrific and proceed fairly.

At first, Ill admit when I went in I was expecting lackluster service. But the gentleman that took care of me actually knew what he was doing and knew his store. He took me rugh to the items I was looking for and never lost his sense of humor or smile. The young lady that checked me out did so with a bright smile that told me she genuinely loved her job. To me this speaks volumes. Whether your looking for the odd knickknack or furniture for your apartment or house these people really know their stuff.

An interesting store. Youre never quite sure what you might find there although some items are pretty much guaranteed to be there. Prices are certainly good and the quality seems good. Not exactly a store you can categorize...

Great deals, affordable prices. Friendly atmosphere and helpful employees. You can get anything from furniture to clothes, hygiene supplies to food and drinks.

I like Big Lots. Each time I go in to the store I find something new. I can browse the aisles for several hours looking at creative decorations or neat storage items. I usually go to big lots when I want to buy a large piece of furniture. They are always a great place to start since their prices are very reasonable. You do have to double check the quality of the furniture on the floor as well as the actual box you purchase. Dents, scrapes, gouged areas do exist in boxed items.

I love this store. They have all kinds of different types of items and discounted price off of what youd have to pay else where. They have dry goods, to furniture and they stand behind what they sell. Whenever I have a chance to shop at any Big Lots I usually spend at least an hour and$100.00.

BIG LOTS is a good place to shop and save on toys for Christmas and birthdays. Lots of other things too! You can find almost anything there, from decorations for holidays to art supplies and toiletries. All priced to save. Some items may not be name brands, but children love the toys just the same. Adults too! There are items here for bedding, rugs and kitchen supplies, including sets of dishes and pots and pans. BIG LOTS even carries furniture at reduced rates. Some of the furniture could be counted as seconds, but I did buy a great bedroom set for my new home with no flaws that I have been able to find. For $1,000, I got four sturdy pieces for my bedroom, a queen size set. Solid wood! Its still beautiful and unmarred. Bed with posts, a very large dresser with 2 doors, one on either side of the drawers for hanging clothes. Plus a side table and a long chest with more drawers and cubbies for storing needed items. Thats the best buy I have ever made on furniture. I admit that there are sometimes damaged pieces, but you just have to go back frequently to get the good stuff.

Well we were at the new Hobby Lobby store, where we had a wonderful time. My mom got to spend a lot of time looking at everything. In fairness to Big Lots....we have been there before, and we like shopping there, we just didnt stop there this time

I find a lot of great deals on food products and every once in a while locate some hard to find items that I only see in larger cities. You should also find kitchen items very reasonably priced... Far better than Walmart. I try to make a trip to Rolla once a month to stock up on food items that are marked down at least by 50%. Cant beat the savings!

Very friendly staff.Very helpful.They are the only place in town that carries Q-tips with a wooden stick instead of paper or plastic ones. It is the only type my mother likes.Thank you Big Lots!!!

They have rather diverse stock. I enjoy finding things that I have never seen elsewhere. Its also an added bonus that most of it is cheaper than at other places.

I had never heard of Big Lots until moving to Missouri. What I found was a very wide selection of merchandise of all types at very reasonable prices. Youll find both brand names and off brands. In addition to just about anything you can think of, Ive bought furniture here, got a great deal on a brand name shop vacuum, and found the discontinued laundry detergent I used. Just one note: Since much of their merchandise is closeout, the bargain you find today may be sold out next week. Even so, its a store youll want to check out.

Big Lots in Rolla is 1 of the best in customer service availabilaty and being well stocked. The staff is helpful and nice. Clean restrooms.

I found several real bargains. The store was clean not over crowded. The furniture section was big with lots of good prices. Overall..good shopping.

Got a good deal on a good couch with the labor day sale, but the lead furniture salesman was pretty short with me, and when I got there a few people were waiting to be helped, but he was sitting on one of the couches shooting the breeze with a buddy.

I go there to get good quality olive oil without spending a fortune.

Way better than the dollar stores in that town. Jamie is the best. Rarely have a problem when in there. Find what I need and get checked out quickly.

We come to Big Lots for their inventory variety and holiday decor. You can even buy furniture here. Definitely an excellent shopping experience with friendly employees.

I get to look around the store without the employees always on you. The prices are so reasonable. The employees were very nice.

I love shopping at Big Lots for its prices as well as its unique items. The store is well-kept, and the personnel working there are friendly. I find the manager to be effective, and very easy to communicate with.

COVID CENTRAL!Notices on the door and throughout the store state that masks must be worn and that it is mandatory. When I questioned the staff about this as people were not wearing them, they stated that they were not allowed to enforce it.Dont put up signs about something being mandatory when it clearly isnt.

Big lots used to be a great place for unique pottery and other items now they arent, they are just a high priced dept store.

Furniture end of store is very nicely set up, but they smushed the rest of the store into what room they had left. They have a lot to choose from, its just the aisles arent very wide and the lighting is terrible in all of places because of placement or arrangement of aisles.

Big Lots is always a maybe- maybe youll find something, maybe you wont. Most of the store is wide open and the isles arent too narrow. There are many places throughout the store that has damage to the floor. It appears to have buckled, cracked, and then caved some. But, again, it is a Big Lots in a strip mall that is probably older than the term strip mall. And while it is older, it was clean. I enjoyed coming back after all these years, and I will probably go back before Christmas!

Such awful customer service. The big round female in the furniture department was so awful. Her attitude was ridiculous. I bought the furniture any way since it was a great deal. People like that should be locked away from society. No one wants to see such an ugly personality with horrible character traits.

They have super cute items on the floor, unfortunately it is just too pricy for cheap materials, especially for it being considered a discounted store. I might as well go to Wal-Mart and buy their cheap material items for a cheap price.

My fiancé and I are new to the area and we felt a warm welcome from Andy at this BigLots. We were beyond pleased with the couch selection. We also found a pleasing variety of dishes and general kitchenware for immediate move in purposes. The staff is friendly, professional, and very inviting. This will be a frequent stop for us and our houseware/decorating needs.

On the one hand, I like the variety of things you can purchase here without going to the dreaded Walmart, and Im a big fan of the different ethnic foods and drinks available. However, the prices here are often 20-50% higher than exact same products at Aldi across the street.

Still nice store for some things but seems its gotten a lot higher in recent yrs.
