I have had excellent service and consistent good experience from this location. Johnathan is a great manager and his staff are very friendly. I love Starbucks coffee but please do something about the cheap cups and lids. The cup collapses and the lid pops off easily with the hot coffee getting all over me and my vehicle.

This location is horrible. I have visited many times since I am local and have tried my hardest to like this location. The wait times are unreal every time I visit. I have to plan out at least 20 minutes in the drive thru every time I go. When I get to the window, my drink is cold if I ordered a hot drink. And when I order an iced coffee, my drink is watered down and tastes disgusting. They are often times sold out of common drinks as well. The only good thing about this location is that the employees are very kind.

I stopped on a long road trip for some Coffee to keep me going. I almost forgot to order food but they are reminded me! Julia, Barrie and the rest of the crew are some of the nicest people I’ve met in a long time… Let alone and customer.I would recommend stopping at this Starbucks whether you’re a local, tourist, or just passing through the area and would like some coffee Or snack.

Like many coffee lovers, I have been to many Starbucks over the years. NEVER have I been to one as bad as this one. I went twice during my visit to Rome, GA; both times it was a complete disappointment. The first time, I paid over $3 for a black iced tea, which was mostly water! What?! If I wasn’t rushing (through the drive through) to get to a meeting, I would have gone in and demanded the tea I paid for; not a glass of water! The second time, the espresso in my latte had a terrible, bitter taste. The machine probably needs a good cleaning. I tried to drink it, but, after a few sips, I got a terrible stomach ache and had to dump the entire beverage down the drain. Not even the cheap hotel coffee does that! A complete waste of time and money. There are two other Starbucks in the area. Maybe they’re better, but I think I’ll wait until I get home to get the good coffee I’m accustomed to!

This is a great Starbucks to get your coffee from! In general, Starbucks is a great company, but in particular, I really like this location. The line can get long sometimes, but the employees help to make the line move quickly. The employees are always kind to me and have always gotten my order correct. I appreciate having someone smile and joke with me when I get coffee in the morning instead of rushing me away.

There are several Starbucks in Rome, but this is the only actual location. The employees wear masks and are always kind. We went through through drive-thru the other day and spent several minutes chatting with the guy at the window because there were no other customers. They are sometimes out of stock on the drinks and inclusions we want, but are always ready to offer up replacement recommendations.

Perfect! Phoenix is a fantastic employee! She always has a smile, outgoing, courteous, responsive, and always makes sure the customer is 100% completely satisfied! Drink was made perfectly as always! Love this location. Even the manager was helping to clean!! Love when the team works together!

It was closed. I asked employee why. He said management told him to close. He had an attitude because I said huh. I couldnt hear his mumbling through the mask. He was 50 feet away. He could have pulled the face diaper down, to speak to me.

They didnt have change when I gave them cash. When I told them I didnt have change they just kept the bills rather than asking if I wanted to use my card. After we waited for 15-20 minutes, we ended ended up getting our money back anyways because they werent anywhere close to having our two drinks ready.

First time visiting this location, theyre pretty quick, the drive thru was packed as is expected at any Starbucks location but the wait time was only about 5 to 6 minutes. The drinks were on point and exactly what we ordered. Highly recommend the kiwi starfruit refresher!

This location never gets my drink right. I ordered a guava passionfruit which I always get. This time it tasted like cinnamon for some weird reason like maybe they reused the cup. It was also super watered down and disgusting. This line is always ridiculous since they are not open inside. The employees are always super nice to me, but it is way too expensive for nasty drinks.

Employees are friendly, but the service is terribly slow. I have to leave 20 minutes earlier if I want to grab coffee on the way into work. My drink is wrong about 50% of the time as well. I would recommend Lumina just down the road instead.

Every single time I go majority of the employees are so rude! I went this morning with a long line, paid, got my drinks & realized that they didnt give me the correct change 😒 i know the guy did it on purpose because he is always extremely rude when I come through. It was okay, I went there to get the usual, a Vanilla Bean Frap. The only complaints were that there was ice globs in my frappe and there was long waiting for your order to be took. But maybe I went here at a busy time, idk.

I ordered a Java chip frappe with soy and wanted whipped cream. I ordered on the app because the line was long. I went in to get my drink and there was no whip. So I told them I wanted whip on top and they said they had to remake it and I said okay. One of the other employees asked what was wrong to the one making my drink and she said she wanted whip but its soy.The employee acted like Im am not supposed to have whip because I want soy instead of milk. It was the employees fault to assume that.Incompete employees who cant read orders correctly need to learn how to or get another job.Horrible service

Rude and rushing. I am not a regular at Starbucks so I dont have the menu memorized. The man on the speaker was pushy and aggressive. I couldnt leave because its blocked by trees. When I got to the window he was shoving everything in my hand without looking because he was rushing and doing too many things at once.

I’m currently traveling from Texas with my family and as a tourist I rented a place to stay walking distance from this Starbucks. Me and my daughter decided to go get some food there, as it was the closest place nearby. We tried walking inside as we didn’t have a car, but employees refused to take our order due to covid regulations. Main reason - the only payment method we had was cash. It came across as a customer without car and a credit/debit card simply loses a right to buy food. Does this mean that a fear of covid lets people lose their right for food? Besides the manager of this establishment - incompetent women, who instead of trying to resolve this issue offered for me and my child to get in drive through line with other cars on foot! I’m very upset, that Starbucks is not tourist friendly and I would not recommend it to anyone, who doesn’t want their mood for the day ruined.

Waited twenty plus minutes in line for 3 drinks. My drink was suppose to be a frappuccino and is completely melted. On top of them not following COVID precautions.. they handed my drink out to the car in front of me and the car handed the drink back because it was not theirs.. then persist to give me the same drink the car in front of me touched. Definitely will not be back to this Starbucks. Workers were running around playing while I was at the window, very displeased.

Ordered a salted caramel mocha. Flavor was not right at all, asked for a fix, was told it was made right the first time (was not- I’ve had the drink many times), given another that was even worse. Gave up, apparently was not going to get the right drink.

Their coffee isnt always great (depends on who is making it) but their service is. They even have an employee who is a Harry Potter fan and tried her hardest to make us something similar to a butter beer. Always friendly and always helpful. Have yet to have a negative experience here after a year.

Starbucks at River walk is the most unprofessional and least talented staff I’ve ever witnessed. Drove from cave Spring 54 miles round trip and I get up to drive thru and an employee walks out and puts green cones in front of me at drive thru and said we are closing immediately due to “heightened concerns”,.My Starbucksprepaid gold card has had balances of 500 dollars or more-so I have drank a LOT of ice coffees over the year as k travel. This particular store is very slow and messes up orders A LOT. Done with the fairy management of many of the store owners I read other reviews on this store and most are about the same. Most if the positive reviews and a short sentence saying “good job” lead me to question there sincerity-but when numerous people are answering in multiple paragraphs I would have to take that a little more seriously U believe the reviews that are thought out and people take the time to explain the problem u should listen. I’ve owned five different businesses that were all public customers oriented. The owner of this location should pay attention to the real reviews to see if there is anything he or she could learnMcDonald’s one dollar coffee any size gas my business from now on. There are 9 of us in my family—and our Starbucks order is usually between 45 and 70 dollars. U won’t get anymore of that.This post is STRICTLY GOR THE ROME GA RIVERSIDE LOCATION-the one that seems always closed and changing working hours coffee. Most Starbucks in the USA that j have visited are VERY GOOD. If u must still have a Starbucks drink the Kroger location in east Rome is the best satellite Starbucks I e ever been too. Not my favorite Starbucks. The line is always super long because they need at least 2 more starbucks in town. Some of the drinks Ive gotten here just straight up tasted bad. Starbucks in Rome, GA was not only quick to service a long line of drive-through customers, but they also did safety against COVID the right way! The drive through attendant never touched the card we paid with, and he never touched our drinks. Also, all the associates who were visible from our car were properly wearing their masks (over the nose and everything!). Too many businesses only halfway take precautions. This is ineffective to fight the spread and to get our economy and our lives back. Proper safety precautions against COVID is one of the top determining factors on who we do business with. This Starbucks exemplifies safety done right!

I LOVE STARBUCKS! However, this is truly the slowest moving Starbucks in all of NWGA! Be prepared to wait in line for 15-20 minutes. There never seems to be any sense of urgency here and my iced caramel macchiato always tastes best from every other starbucks, and Im always in and out in 2-4 minutes from every other location.

I went here for a pick-me-up and something delicious. Needed a recommendation from someone working though. A man with a semi-beard was so nice and helpful and recommended a coffee that tasted so good and gave me all the energy i needed. I was fully satisfied when leaving. I think he deserves a special shoutout for the nice service and amazing attitude he had. Thank you Mr.Semi-beard. For the white chocolate mocha coffee with raspberry syrup. We came to this location at 6:35am and they had the drive-thru blocked off without any sign. There were several of us waiting and trying to figure out what was going on. The number online isn’t accurate and doesn’t go anywhere. A lady walked up to the door and knocked on it and employees just ignored her. There was a sign on the door in tiny letters that was hard to read in the dark that said “Temporarily Closed”. The app and Google didn’t reflect this, so it was such a waste of time.
