My favorite guitar shop around. Easy to work with, they got my guitar fixed very quickly. I cannot recommend this place enough. Great selection of instruments, very friendly staff, and the guitar tech knows what he’s doing. I recommend this place over any other local shop.

This is a real guitar shop where the guys know what theyre doing. Knowledgeable, friendly and arent constantly trying to sell you something. Reminds me of shops from my younger days. I tried one of those big chain stores and didnt like it, Retrotone is my shop from now on. 🎸🎸

This place does setups offers lessons and has jam sessions for players of all skill levels.Definitely worth a visit.

Ive been to Retrotone Guitars a couple times and I can say first hand that it has a more inviting and friendly feel than the other music shop in town. Josh, the store owner, is a great guy, a military vet and knowledgeable about what he does. Hes the kinda guy you can talk TO versus having talk DOWN to you like some folks can be in music instrument shops. If I cant get it at Retrotone, I might consider trying online, but I would never waste my time at another local shop in the Rome area. No other local shop deserves my business.My favorite transaction involved getting an Ibanez Artcore guitar that Ive been in love with since first setting eyes on it. Keep up the great work Josh. I had an orangewood Oliver mahogany guitar, and only had it for a few months. They understood and still gave me a good deal on it, would definitely come back!

What makes this shop better than a chain music store? The owner really puts his heart into the business. Very informative about products that he has in stock, plus what he can offer. Prices are very competitive, customer service is outstanding. The owner was eager to help with every question I have/had. Awesome all around person! This should be the only place you come to for a Real pickin machine, might even learn a thing or two about where the guitar has been. Will definitely continue to shop!

Excellent service with laid back down to earth vibe. Nice selection of guitars new used and everything in between some pretty unique guitars along with custom made ones plus name brands. Ive had them do a set up on a few guitars and wow. Just woww The electrics now play like butter more like melted butter and a cheapo yamaha fxg800c came back sounding as good as some higher end models. The before and after sound of it is mind boggling. Ive literally been blowed away by the magic they have performed on my small collection of guitars. Awesome place. Highly reccommend.
