I very rarely post negative reviews. But this service department just disappointed me terribly. A bought my Toyota vehicle at this dealership, so I came to the same for warranty service (55 min drive one-way).I booked it after what I believe was a very clear discussion about the importance of timeliness and how long this diagnosis and repair may take. I was given a 12:30pm appointment time and an estimate that the diagnosis and repair should take somewhere between 30 and 90 minutes at most.When I arrived today, I was by the dealers service rep that 12:30pm is simply the check in time, and they have no way of telling when they might start looking at my car nor how long it would cost to replace the USB port that is malfunctioning.The worst part for me was that I was given the excuse that their bank of operators often give out poor information when scheduling services. The act of blaming someone else in your own company and leaving the customer with no options is a crummy way to do business. I was basically stuck with the possibility of waiting an entire day to have nothing done in my car. So, bitterly disappointed, I cancelled the service call and will shop for another Toyota service shop. I know times are hard for car dealers with a lack of inventory. I dont know how theyre going to survive if they dont turn up their service efforts to make up some of that slack.
We had a great experience shopping for a vehicle at Romeoville Toyota. Our sales person Sebastian was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. we didnt feel like we were being SOLD.There was No-pressure, we didnt feel rushed at all.Sebastian listened to me, didnt try to over sell us.The entire Team at Romeoville Toyota made the process quick and painless.I would Most Definitely recommend getting your vehicle here. Well certainly be back for our next vehicle.
Been to a few Toyota dealerships looking for the right deal/vehicle and this one in Romeoville was definitely one to remember. Great and knowledgeable staff that doesn’t take advantage of their clients or even think about them being paid based on their commission when giving me information on what I’m potentially looking for. Will for sure consider sealing the deal here in the future for what may come for me in terms of what vehicle I am looking for.

I’ve been using Romeoville Toyota to service my car for quite a while. I recently had multiple service work done and I was very pleased with everything they did. They were very fair with their pricing and I worked with a service person named Jordan that was a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely go back again when my car needs further service. They always do a 10 point check and let me know if anything needs to be done. I really appreciate that information because I want to maintain safety at all times
Bought a 2021 Venza hybrid today from this location. I was only looking to go window shopping, but by the end, I couldn’t leave without purchasing. Sebastian was our sales rep and he was very helpful in answering all of our questions. He’s new to the location but we had such a great experience with him. He was super kind, patient, and he didn’t pressure us with anything. He asked us in detail about exactly what we were looking for so he could provide us with the best possible options. He showed concern that we were as happy as possible with what we were receiving. If you go to this location, highly recommend seeing him! Very pleasant to work with and easy to talk to.

Saul was an exceptional salesman, he walked me through the entire process and was able to answer all of my questions. I usually dont enjoy going to car dealerships but Saul made me feel at ease and overall I had a good time. Every person I interacted with has been very polite and friendly.
I’m not the type of person to write reviews but I took my car to get the trunk bed cover (for Toyota Tundra Brand new 2021) installed and I received it back with a large scratch inside the bed and when I told the dealership they refused to fix it and I’m extremely frustrated and I will not return to that dealership to buy a car or recommend to anyone
I had a great experience at the Toyota dealership. I have been to many recently, and this one had by far the best staff. From start to finish, I was greeted and taken care of. It started with working with Abraham, the salesman that made sure I left that dealership happy. It ended with Levi, the employee that walked me through my finances and explained everything clearly. Albert was super helpful in the whole buying process. I loved being able to start the process online so that once we came in, we just had to test drive the car and sign papers. Fantastic experience with Romeoville Toyota. We used their Express Store tool, and had our new Highlander in our garage on the same day that we put in our purchase request - all without leaving our house. Kimberly Q was fantastic - she walked us through every step of the process, from sending us a video walk-around of the car, to delivering the vehicle and completing the finance paperwork. Communication was excellent, and Kim readily accommodated all of our requests.
This weekend I had to give up my “baby” after 10 long years which I was kind of bummed, but after visiting Romeoville Toyota, it put me in a better mood. If I could rate this place using negative numbers I would. Absolute horrible experience!!!! This dealership takes advantage of people especially during difficult periods of time. I was in an accident in need of a car. Sebastian assured me that I would be able to drive home the SAME day in my car paying with a check from my credit union. I had a friend drop me off and thats when the agreement changed. I was told I could pay with the check but would have to wait days for it to clear or finance through them. He did this knowing that I traveled over an hour and had no way home. The goal for them was to get me to finance through them to get a bigger payout. They showed no concern walked away and left me sitting at a desk. I ended up with a $75 uber ride home. The next day Leo texted me saying tgey will accept the check. How about no THANK YOU!!!After all those men sat there and watched this occur knowing I had no other way home and could care less. God is good and the exact car I want is coming to a dealership closer in a couple of weeks. Theyre allowing me to make a deposit and pick me up as soon as it arrives BRAND NEW!!! Im willing to pay more to a dealership that treats their customers with kindness, respect and honesty.

Paint and fabric protection supposedly already installed on vehicles. I was not given the option. Came within $888.00 of purchasing a new Camry. If you like paying $888.00 for paint and fabric protection this dealership is for you. Not for me. I will purchase elsewhere. The salesman was great. The manager not so much.

I purchased three four runners from this dealership. I brought my 2020 four runner in Monday to get a noise checked out on front tire. Everything was good. I was interested in buying a 2021 spoke with sales lady Soledad. Was interested in buying new vehicle. She never returned calls. So today. 29sep21 I went to dealer asked for her guess what she’s in a meeting. Then they proceeded to tell me that they would give me 37000. For a four runner that has 8500 miles on it garage kept. Sales people very bad I’ll never purchase another four runner from them. I hope the owner of romeoville reads this. Been a police officer for 30 years. Seems sales people don’t care.I’ll take 42000 tomorrow and buy that vehicle

I went to Romeoville Toyota because they worked with the Costco auto buying program.I dealt with Ramiro and he was very good to work with. He was knowledgeable about the vehicles and also listened well to what I wanted.Everyone I dealt with at the dealership was friendly and polite.
Horrible experience. I found the new Toyota I was interested in swapping out my 2018 lease with at the Romeoville Dealership. I needed a few hours to get to the dealership as not everyone can just drop everything in their life to go purchase a new vehicle. I offered to put down a deposit and gave them all of my personal and vehicle information only to have them tell me they are going to sell the car to someone who can get there sooner. Very frustrating experience. I would never call them again. Keep searching for a better dealership.
I have loved Romeoville Toyota since 2019, i had the opportunity to get my first car(2017 Corolla) then recently traded in to a 2021 Corolla! Kim and Jermaine are the absolute best there, they have such amazing personalities. making sure i knew every detail of my car deal and the financial information too! every helpful and caring. Jordan however has made me change my mind about going here. He gave me exceptional customer service and on a SATURDAY. He was very knowledgeable and concise. Not to mention my car was ready fast. Arrived shortly after 7. Left with two repairs and an estimate for a $1000 repair at 11:20. They take forever. I think they prioritize oil changes, but those also seemed to take a long time too. On the plus side, everyone was nice and the beautiful waiting room had SIX comfortable chairs. (Hope youre not customer number 7). Also hope you like loud thumping music and hanging out with people who dont wear masks.

Dont trust their service department! Had a Toyota towed here after it got water in the engine on a Saturday. Insurance adjuster was scheduled to arrive Wednesday (4 days later). Was told it would be diagnosed Monday, then Tuesday, then Wednesday. Called everyday, was told were doing it now or its the next car. The adjuster arrives and nothing has been done, no estimate of the damage, only excuses and delays. Only call I got from the service manager was after I said I was having the car transferred to another repair facility and would be posting a negative review - where he spent the entire time trying to convince me that they had evaluated the car even though he STILL couldnt provide any sort of estimate. Avoid if you actually want your car fixed.
Abraham was very patient and helpful. Now we’re happy owners of a Highlander.

Overall, a great dealership to work with. I didn’t feel pressured to purchase anything and they really tried to make it work for me. Everyone is really friendly and I am happy with my purchase! I do caution: don’t be like me and expect to be out early you’ll be there a long time but it’s worth it because they provide options. And not a lot of places do that. Plus - if you are financed through Toyota they don’t charge you over $800 for gap insurance. Unlike some other dealerships that pressure you to buy overpriced gap insurance. Albert helped me and he was super nice! And helpful!
Thank you so much for helping me without an appointment. I was on my way back from Midway airport and smelled something melting like plastic from my vents. I called Romeoville Toyota and Julian answered the phone. I said I was nervous to keep driving. He told me to come straight to the shop and pull right in. I must have had a crayon drop in my vent from something I set on my hood. Thankfully there was no damage to my vents and Julian was able to get the crayon out. They were so kind and all had masks in the service drive. While I was there they did a quick check over everything else on my car.Thanks again for the AMAZING SERVICE!!!

Purchased a 2015 Lexus from Sal.....I hate buying cars, but this was the best experience I have had at a car dealer. They had the car all pulled and waiting for me to arrive. They explained everything clearly and not pushy at all. Levi the finance manager took his time explaining things before we signed. Best car buying experience I have ever had, will never go to another dealer except this one, they made buying the car easy and not stressful. I would give 0 if I could, I went for an alignment, they told me $140 I said good, I got to the dealer, they told me 1 more car before you I said I wait, about an hour the guy come to me and told me that one of the bolt snapped and that they were trying to removed but that unfortunately they will not be able to continue because it my happens the same with the other side, so I said fine, a few minutes later came back to tell me that it will take about 3 to 4 hours to completed, so I said I will return later since it was too much time, No one call me, so next day I call and they told me that it was not possible remove the bolt so that I had to buy the while part and that the job including the part was $700 I was in shock I went for a $140 dollars alignment and I was ending paying $700 with out an alignment. So of course I was not going to pay that much so we agreed with the Manager that I was going to pay $350, but it took them 7 days to fix my car and after that they wanted to charge me over $400 when that was not the agreement, they ending Lowering to $ 370, hich I pay just to finish with all this, so I dont recommend this place go somewhere else this is the worst place I ever been and I will no go ever again y also will let all my friends and family know about, so they never go either and to let their friends know too. I try to work with them but they dont. Im still have my car with no alignment and $370 less in my pocket, if you dont want to be ln my shoes dont go this place.

They may as well call this Sahara Toyota as it’s as barren of customer service and inventory. There were no signs of life anywhere. I had to trek in to find any kind of customer service. The sales reps were all gathered around the finance desk like a desert oasis. The young salesman needs to work on his comedy routine as jokes about 18% interest rates don’t strike my fancy. After 3 hours of the salesman vanishing into the bleak landscape, I was treated to a $479 dock fee and an $888 paint/fabric protection, anon-negotiable! Much like it’s desert namesake no water or refreshments can be found at this dealership. Bring your own coins for the vending machine as that is the only sustenance you’ll get in this desert. Do yourself a favor and look for greener pastures in your search for a Toyota dealer.

About two weeks ago today I purchased my first car ever. I worked with Ramiro he was so nice & so helpful I really recommend people to go see him. I’m definitely sending my friends & family to shop at this Toyota & to see Ramiro.
My 76 year old mother has been a Thomas Toyota customer for 20 years but no more. She went for her 6 month oil change last week and the service customer representative tried to sell her 4 fluid exchanges 2 that she just had done 6 months ago. The engine was ticking so I inspected it and found no oil on the dip stick and found her oil pan plug was loose so I had to add 2 quarts of oil. After finding the plug loose I decided to check the lug nuts and they were loose on both wheels on the drivers side. Steer clear and go to St Charles Toyota they are top notch.
Horrible place. I went in for an interview. They offered me a position on the spot, but said that it would be contingent on me passing a drug screening. The interview was on a Tuesday, and I was scheduled to work on the upcoming Monday. By Thursday I had not received an email telling me where to go for the screening. I stopped in, and they said they would send it that day. Still never received it. I was supposed to start today, but that didn’t happen. I passed up 9 interviews that week thinking that I had a job. If they can do that to an employee to be, imagine how they treat their customers. Don’t waste your time here.Signed,Upset and confused.

I wanted to take advantage of the 2020 Toyota sale. Nobody could locate a car with my specific colors. The manager Tobin, found a car an gave me decent pricing. He brought the car from 300 miles and it was a very smooth transaction. I waited a little more than the ordinary but overall very positive experience and nice place.

They all showed a willingness and had plenty of patience to work with a demanding client. From start to finish, they made the process easy to work with. Albert treated me with respect and talked with me like a human being as opposed to customer/employee. Soledad was extremely responsive via email and was able to get everything set up by the time I came into the dealership. And Konrad displayed a clear support of his employees meanwhile making myself the client satisfied. This was a great team to work with. I also worked with Mike from finance, who did a great job and even stayed late to make sure our deal gets done. Recently, we crossed a milestone in our family with my daughter getting her license so it was time for her own car. I called Karl R. the GM of Romeoville Toyota and he jumped into action to find me a safe, reliable used car for her. We landed on a well-cared for 2006 Camry that he ensured was mechanically sound and ready to go another 100k miles. I was very impressed with the dealership overall as its very clean, energetic and the everyone in the dealership was great. I peeked into the service bays and have never seen an area in a dealership so new and clean, highly recommend.

Dropped off my Rav 4 hybrid in for factory service and a starting issue. They did the service with no problems then diagnosed and fixed the starting issue quickly. The service associate called me with updates and when the car was ready for pick up. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Glad they fixed the problem, Thanks!
