Owner is always pleasant, one of my favorite LM locations!

Lets start with the people. These are 2 of the sweetest ladies ever! They work VERY hard to please. They are extremely friendly and personable.The ice cream is awesome. Ive never been to a place that sells Ferrero Roche ice cream! The coolest part is 95% of the deserts are homemade! One can definitely see the effort put into their creations. I enjoy finding things Ive never had before; believe me, theres 6 months worth of desserts, if one were to try something new every day.They also have Mexican corn there which, is one of our absolute favorites!Their prices are VERY reasonable. To be perfectly honest, Id pay double for their homemade desserts and their friendly smiles. I always see them cleaning which explains why the place is always spotless.If you havent tried this place, youre missing out! Highly recommend!!

Husband asked for hardshell tacos. They were out. Told had soft shell tacos. Got home. Plate had 4 circles of very small soft shell tacos laid out in circles. They were covered with hamburger meat, onions, and in the center of the four small circles were 2 cucumber slices and 2 lime slices on top. Had hot sauce in order. 2nd dish the same except shrimp instead of hamburger. Whats the problem? There was No cheese!!!!!! No lettuce! No tomatoes! Really????? Is this really tacos? $16.00 for 2 orders. Ridiculous!

The churros and potato chips tasted old. Very disappointed to pay for something so awful.

Over priced, slow staff and the owner is not wearing a mask!! He was breathing all over everyone’s food.

This place is hidden right behind burger king in Romeoville. Definitely worth visiting, we were happy to see it open after the lock down.

On Monday, 9/1/2019, I called La Michoacana at 6:50pm. In Spanish a woman answered the phone. I asked her what time they close today. In English she replied we close at 8:00. I said thank you..bye. My husband and i walked into the store at 7:05pm. There was a couple enjoying their ice cream seated near the door. All the lights were off. The clerk behind the counter said in English we are closed. I said I just talked to someone who said the store closes at 8. The clerk said I didnt talk to you. You must have talked to the manager. I said are you telling me the manager doesnt know when the store closes? The clerk didnt answer. I said we wont be back and we left.

This place is great ice cream fruit yogurt etc. I mean what else.

The corn tasted so old that they gave for my elote I couldn’t eat it, kindly asked for fresher corn and they said they didn’t have any more. Left without eating it

This place is clean but truly isn’t great on servings. The servings aren’t as accurate to the price compared to other Michoacana’s .

I did a search for the business hours online and it said it was open “now” drove 15 minutes and the store was closed. They also don’t have the business hours posted outside. Please update the information online.

Very expensive!!! ... And the quality is lousy. I bought tamales and they were the worst Ive ever eaten. But I thought that only the tamales would be the worst thing they have, since it is not their specialty of the Michoacana. I came back for a piece of fruit and the taste seemed like it was refrigerated (and dirty refrigerator by the way) for several days. VERY VERY EXPENSIVE.
