Just wanted to say thank you to the manager who took his time in explaining marine gps and radio equipment on may 11th, 2021. This is our first boat and so all this is new to me. It was close to closing time and he went above and beyond even took the chart plotter out of the box to show me all the pieces and what they’re used for. He explained the radios and which emergency features came with what. Most importantly he was not pressuring to buy anything and he was extremely knowledgeable. I will be coming back here for sure thank you!

West marine last chance with me i called to get parts they tell me another store has it in stock and that they price match amazon the parts guy looked it up and said yes they will price match it. I drive to the location a hour away get to the register and they wont price match. I call corporate and they say they cant price match that price. Amazon now has all my business good luck west marine

Great, but did not have all products in stock.did not have any small hose clamps, did not have more than one yamaha fuel line with bulb and did not have any yamaha connectors.but the service (parts) representative was knowledgeable and knew his stuff.

Actually found a good deal on a 2pack of 8.5 x 26 fenders. Staff was helpful👍

I am giving 5 stars because Matt (associate) and Sara (sp?) went the extra mile today! I had placed an online order to be sent to store and did not make it in time to pick up due to COVID. When I got there today Matt went to the back to double check and Sara went to the rack to see if she could find if what I had ordered would be there since it was past the time period for pick up. She brought a similar item and was willing to honor the online price, then she went to another rack and found the exact item. They were very helpful, understanding, and friendly!

Place is an absolute joke. Online and the store computer says they have the parts in stock. They look for two minutes and just say nope ain’t got it and walk away. They don’t try to help you find another store that has it or try to see if you’d like to have parts shipped to there store. Complete lack of customer service from employee and manager Matt

Purchased Simrad G09 year ago. It started to lock up and while in use about a month ago. I took it to West Marine store in Middle River. Technician connected to power, began to run thru series of commands and the unit locked up on him. He looked up my original purchase which confirmed the manufacturers warranty, and extended warranty which I had purchased explained the iaaue was rare put problematic and proceeded to get a new one from the store. He downloaded my information from the old unit to my SD card, and I was out the door with a new unit and my saved boating information within 1/2 hr. Gr8 work. Thank you.

Great staff always ready to help you. Very clean store, excellent inventory. Watch for the advertised specials. Parking is always great, you can always get in and out with what you need. Seldom I did not get what I needed, and they ordered it for me. A great one stop shop for our boating needs. Always a great experience.

So far everything i have came for in the goldenring location they either dont have when the inventory says they do or the associate says they dont have and then I find it in the store or the person I talk to has no knowledge about boats... very unhappy with this location and wont be back

Good quick grab store. Better stock than local businesses. For as large as the buying power is, it is not reflected in the pricing.

I love this store chain, but youd be hard pressed to find sailing equipment here. Its probably too much rent for them, as some items are extremely expensive compared to online. Annapolis though, much better, and Fawcett is great too.

I want to send out a big THANK YOU !!!!! To Mathew at West Marine on 8640 Pulaski Hwy. Baltimore Maryland. I had two tires blown on my trailer and the other two not looking so good. I went to a Mr. tire 5 miles away Limping my trailer the whole way there only to completely Ignore me. I found West Marine, call them and Matthew picked up the phone. Mathew came through for me. Mathew went above and beyond in helping me in my distress. When it only showed he had three tires he did a little digging and found a complete set with an extra spare. When I got to the store the tires were sitting there waiting for me. Thank you thank you so much Matt. Your kindness and professionalism made my day and it was very refreshing when you came out to the parking lot where I was working on my trailer to make sure we were OK. Thank You! 😊Sincerely, Murray

Do yourself a favor and save time and money by shopping elsewhere. In the past, West Marine never had pricematch until sales were way down any they were wondering why. So once they introduced pricematch, everything started to turn around for the better. Recently Ive noticed that they are wising up and manipulating the system by jacking their prices even higher and throwing in the new slogan for their guarantee pricematch it has to be sold by Amazon and shipped by Amazon LOL...just went in today for a water fuel separator which used to be around $30 at West Marine...it is now $41.99 (Racor S3227 / check it out for yourself). Online $27-$30 through Amazon...but wait, the price isnt good because it isnt shipped or sold by Amazon. Its only a matter of time before this chain becomes another store that crashes and disappears off the map thanks to their HIGHLY priced inventory.

I needed help with a 2/0 battery cable. The guys in the parts department were very helpful and we solved my problem. They were knowledgeable, really understood boats and also the battery cable issue I had. I could not ask for any more.
