I adore this restaurant! They serve marvelous dishes, their menu is large, The chef in that restaurant is well trained, I love very much trying all their dishes. The food is always fresh, the service towards the guests is very good too. I often go to this place and I was never unsatisfied. I recommend it to all.
Food its good but inside was cold and smell of cigarettes
Love this place Great for lunch. If anything I wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price. The food here is a bit different than other Mediterranean restaurants Ive tried in the city, but different isnt bad.
This is one of my favorite Mediterranean spots! The food is always hot and delicious. The hummus is fantastic, and the owner is always friendly and talkative. What else could you ask for in a neighborhood joint? I drove all the way from Irving Park in Chicago to get my hands on this stuff!
Friendly hosts, great food. Portions are great for the price, at least on the shawerma that Ive gotten a few times. The small is a good size lunch by itself and the large is enough to either split or make two meals out of. Will definitely be back.
The food is consistently fresh and delicious, cashiers hands out great customer service. I like the cleanliness and atmosphere. Will visit here again.
The food is absolutely wonderful! My boyfriend and I make a trip there at least once every two weeks or so. The combo platters are delicious and always fresh. The folks there are very friendly and the prices are good! Highly recommended!
Great food. Friendly owners. Love this place. Don’t believe posted hours though. They close when they want.
The vibes here remind me of home in Palestine and the food is delicious mashaaAllah its all good.
The man at the counter was friendly, offering a suggestion to try the lunch special. I decided to try the kufta kabob sandwich, and was asked whether I wanted it spicy or not. I was happy to have that option, as I had forgotten to take my heartburn pill this morning and the spicy option would have been bad.I also ordered a small side of hummus. This was all to-go. It took all of maybe 5 minutes for my food to be done, and I was on my way.The sandwich was neatly packed into a pita pocket, which, to my surprise, did not fall apart within a couple minutes, unlike some other places Ive been. The kufta kabob was as tasty as I expected, and I really liked the addition of cucumber, which Ive not had in that type of sandwich before. The hummus was very good, had a lot of flavor and a little bit of a spicy kick. It came with a generous amount of pita to scoop it up.All-in-all, I was happy with the overall service and the food. I will definitely be back to this place on a somewhat regular basis.
Wow great food and great service. I loved the large combo and I am a very picky eater with Arabic food due to my bestfriend moms cooking. Definitely a must eat place.
Really good food and extremely friendly staff! My gyro was delicious, albeit a bit greasy, but thats what I was looking for for lunch. I will try to falafel and hummus next time!
Good food at good price. Falafel sandwich was very good. Falafel, hummus, and salad on top make for tasty sandwich. Fresh ingredients.
Awesome food. Very friendly staff. They always do a great job preparing the meals. Very happy customer and try to come back weekly.
Food was excellent and large portions. The combination plate was well worth the purchase. Call ahead for pickup.
Excellent chicken Shawerma! Very friendly staff, definitely family owned. Cant beat the food or prices. Worth a visit if your in the area!
Great food. Great service. Worth your money.
I tend to be critical of Middle Eastern cuisine, since there are so many options around me to choose from.First off, when they give you the option of making your food spicy, be careful because I ate and pooped lava as a result.Food was hot, fresh, and rather bland. It was probably the jug of their spicy sauce they poured on my meat which totally killed the flavor. They were out of Kufta Kabobs so they gave me a very small side of gyros to make up for it, which I also couldnt substitute. Not cool.My biggest gripe with this establishment was there in flexibility with their menu. All I kindly requested was the option of substituting rice with either a small side of hummus or one frickin falafel. They couldnt do it. They couldnt do it, guys. It was too much for them. You would think that a small business thats trying to make a name for themselves would maybe be a little flexible, but not these guys.Again, there are tons of other options and Ill be taking my money elsewhere. And so should you.
Definitely my go to place. Simply delicious and reasonably priced!
After seeing good review, I went to this place to pickup dinner on way back from downtown. Chicken shawarma was ok but all chopped up into small pieces. Falafels were big but no taste at all. Lot of rice but no hummus even though I took Hummus and Falafel plate. It was expensive $28 just for 1 Shawarma & 1 Falafel plate. Dont think it can deserve to be named as Royal (except in price) or Hummus (they dont give). There are much better Mediterranean places around.
Delicious food! I asked her to make it very spicy, and it was *perfect*. I wanted to buy more food to take home, but I was so full from the generous lunch portions already!
You want great food, great price, and best part of all: consistent quality. Read any review here. This place is a gem. Allahu Royal Hummus and Falafel!!!
One of the best shawrma
I tried his falfel sandwich, was very good, very nice people.
Delicious Falafel, friendly folks, great prices! Love the decor too.
I have been a customer for years. Great place!
Great food, family owned. You can taste the freshness
Amazingly fresh and delicious. Above and beyond hospitality.
Great food and great people. Love the combination.
The man at the counter, who I assumed was the owner, was very kind and let us take our time ordering, and provided a few suggestions based off our tastes. My girlfriend had the gyro with fries, and I ordered the steak shawarma sandwich and a side of falafel. The gyro was great, and I loved the sauce it came with, the difference was it came with caramelized onions which I liked my GF did not, and a large serving of fries. The shawarma was seasoned well, and he asked if I wanted it spicy or not and I asked for the spicy version. It did not disappoint. Their falafel was made fresh when I ordered and came out very hot, and they are the best falafel I have had.We will definitely be going here over and over, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes or has an interest in middle eastern food.
Garbage quality. I’m sorry to be so rude but please try Hala In I’m Chicago. You won’t regret it. ACTUAL middle eastern food. This was disappointing beyond belief.🤮
Very unhappy with this first and last visit, to expensive for this quality of food, Falafil smell bad didnt finsh them because of that, chicken is very little and its doesnt test like kitchen, i didnt eat fresh food unfortunately here, never go there again
Consistent and fantastic. Could eat here every single day.
Good food for the price

Everything it’s good and delicious
