I am done shopping at ACE.I continually receive coupons and continually have problems using them. I thought I finally had it figured out on my last visit. I had a $5 reward coupon and a $5 off $35 promotion. My bill before taxes came to $51+. I would have thought I could use the reward lowering the amount to $46 and then use the $5 off $35. However, after scanning the coupons the cashier told me I could only use one of the two coupons. No explanation, just the the cash register would only allow one.After I left the store I thought that I should have made two transactions. But why should I even have to go through that struggle.Many years ago my wife and I stopped shopping at Carsons because of the fact that coupons were very difficult to use. I am now dropping Ace from my list.I seriously always enjoyed shopping at Ace but honestly other stores are more convenient to me and I wont leave frustrated.

I was amazed when I walked in and talked to Tony about ordering kitchen cabinets and countertops from Ace. I had no idea that they offered these products and services. Quality kitchen cabinets at the best price around. Tony was amazing. I recommend talking to him about your kitchen remodel projects.

Great friendly and personalized customer service! I purchased a Weber grill and had it assembled and delivered at no addditional charge much sooner than I expected. A local neighborhood family business that is an asset to the community. The store is always well stocked and they always have everything Ive always needed.

I still like the neighborhood feel of Ace Hardware. Not a lot of people on the floor, but a good overall experience.

Its a great hardware store. Someone is always there to help. They ask you what youre looking for when you walk in. Highly recommended.

Missed them after the fire in 2017. I am so happy they are back. My goto place for small projects. Just today fixed an intermittent toilet. Got everything I needed plus ADVISE that they are known for. Cost was around $40 to replace everything inside including a float seal kit they carry. This saved me from a bigger project of replacing the toilet. Thank you Roselle Ace on Nerge.

Went here to purchase a humidifier. The one on display was the only one available. Had to ask for the box, which was in another aisle labelled display. Got it home and found it had been used. Went back to return it and got questioned like trying to pull a fast one. Treated very rudely. Suddenly they found a new one in a box.

Shopped here for the 20 years i lived in Schaumburg. Have moved further away and another Ace opened much closer to my home, but Roselle ace has staff and stock that are the best.

They were able to order things I need which is a huge help. Very good presence on social media about cleaning products and PPE in stock. When I went in (I pass probably 5 other Ace Hardwares to go here) the sales associates are really lacking. I asked one associate about an item in stock. He helped me look, but they didnt have it. I asked if I could order. He said try Amazon. I explained I wanted to order from Ace! I followed him around until he walked outside. So I asked 3 more people working there for help. It took me a half hour to get that achieved. Another half hour in line with a frustrated cashier about my rewards account. Due to that, I definitely wont be back.

I enjoy the personal attention that you get at Ace. I am usually greeted whenever I enter the store. They have a surprisingly wide selection of goods at competitive prices. People that actually know where the stock is located are happy to help you locate what you need.

I ordered a Weber grill from Ace and had it delivered and put together. Everything was just perfect. A week later I got a hand written thank you in the mail. Any business who takes the time to do that should be 10 stars!

I usually don’t write reviews and while I have no actual complaints about this store or the friendly amazing workers I have encountered my few times shopping here. This review is based more so on the actual owner Tony. Who I approached respectively inquiring about a job opportunity for my brother who is Autistic and having a hard time gaining employment. I felt very dismissed while talking to Tony about this matter. All the steps were followed. The application was turned in and a follow up call was placed by my brother to him and yet there’s been no word. Meanwhile this place is still hiring but wont give him a chance. This owner came off very unapproachable and semi rude. It’s a shame that good hardworking people are overlooked and not given an opportunity in this world because of people like Tony. Don’t be like Tony! Spread love. Less hate. And bless people with an opportunity and chance at prosperity.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Bought a patio umbrella last Saturday and when I was cranking it open wind blew and one of the umbrella arms snapped. Called the store and the lady on phone said to return it. When I show up another employee told me not to bother that they wont let me return it and said it was not there problem. I will never shop there again and will let family and friends how they treat customers.

I stopped in after my Honda Accord key LITERALLY snapped in half during that wicked -45° weather we had (I didnt even realize such cold weather COULD break metal!).After encountering more dishonest key makers than I could list Id finally encountered an HONEST key maker when it first occurred and he told me to go to Ace and not let locksmiths or dealerships take advantage.I was skeptical as youd not even believe the quotes I got to cut another simple, non chip key! I am soooo pleased with Ace in Roselle! ALL of the professional working at this Ace went out of their way to ensure proper new keys were made and they did not rip me offThey even provided some tips on keeping the lock mechanism working well on my now 25 year old Honda (Im original owner).I will ABSOLUTELY be returning as I find them very honest and knowledgeable. A very pleasant experience! As a matter of fact, where keys and locks are concerned Im redoing a few in my home and am confident Ill not be misled.Thank you, Ace in Roselle! You are all awesome!

Prices are high. Old man who works there is a jerk! Hes very very rude!!!!!!!!! I got a key cut and the guy said it should work. It didnt. Now I have to drive back to get a refund. Dont have keys cut there.

I like coming here and hope this place doesnt go anywhere soon. They are very helpful here and very customer service oriented which is a rarity these days and something other businesses should learn.

Most people do their projects on the weekends. So why do you close early on Saturday and Sunday but remain open later during the week? Anti-logic.I was at my local Ace Hardware at twenty minutes to five pm on Sunday and it was closed. I watched four other people show up as well finding it closed. We all went to Home Depot instead. They are open till eight pm. Your weekend hours make no sense.
