Beautiful store, tons of high end yarns and some very unusual and interesting local dyed yarns as well. Not a ton of notions but the ones they carry are generally very nice. Staff is friendly and there are lots of chairs for the spouse to hang out in!

I was in Georgia on a trip (from Houston) and decided to check out this store. What a gem! It is a large well organized space with many yarn brands including hard to find HABU and even harder to find ITO. Fantastic array of accessories: buttons, rivets, purse straps etc. They also had several large sitting areas with knitters chatting, laughing and learning.Marci was very helpful and full of southern hospitality. While i really did not expect to buy anything, I spent $100 with pleasure on items i will never find elsewhere...Thanks!

Visited today with a young friend who is a knitter. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I found a couple of notions for needlepoint so we were both happy. Amazing selection of yarn and needlepoint fibers. Very friendly and welcomed my friend to the area and gave her hints on where to eat and shop in the area. I was impressed. The shop was full of knitters visiting and knitting.

A shop that combines my love of knitting and needlepoint. I was lucky enough to show up during their open house so a discount was involved. My only complaint is that they had way too much beautiful yarn to choose from. My yarn budget took a serious hit.

I have been here several times, and overall I like the store. Very nice polite ladies. But, is not always this way There is a particularly woman that is not very pleasent. I am helping your business, so I do deserve a very nice treatment.

This was a super friendly shop for a gal from Houston. Had my non-knitting daughter with a new-born with me. They offered a quiet place for her to nurse and some hot cocoa. Yarn selection was awesome. They were helpful with locating patterns and ordering some yarn for me. Ill visit again next time we are in Atlanta area.

This has to be one of the best yarn shops in the country and probably the South. Candy offers amazing assistance. The yarn selection is incredible. Then theres the atmosphere. It is comfortable and relaxing. There are people who sit and knit, so you can come join them.Dont worry, if you forget your project, there are plenty to choose from and they sell everything you might need.There is also a great selection of needlepoint.Cast-On Cottage is my home away from home.

I hadnt been here in years and they have really stepped up their game! Great selection of interesting and beautiful yarns. Prices were typical for the high quality. Very friendly and helpful staff as well.

This store has an excellent selection of yarns, tools, and needlepoint stuff. I dont needlepoint - but the needlepointers seem as happy as the knitters.There are also very comfortable places to sit a while and knit.Just note that they usually wont wind your yarn for you, but theyll get it started for you to wind it yourself.

Very nice staff, Marci has usually helped me find things I need. Yarn selection is fantastic and they usually have the needles Im looking for.

Just found this shop about a month ago and I will quickly become a regular! The yarn selection is out of this world and the staff was very friendly and super helpful!

Good selection, well organized store, snobby staff. This place apparently just wants customers who can afford to spend $25+ on 50g balls of yarn. As soon as the woman offering to help heard me comment that some of their yarn is very expensive her interest in helping dropped off to nothing and she quickly found a reason to go do something else and ignored me the rest of the time I was in the store.

My first experience here was great,however I went back a second time And I got really condescending snobby acting women there. I forgot to tell them it was my birthday month until after they rang me up. Instead of offering to void and readjust they just said I needed to tell them before next time. Very poor customer service felt very out of place with there behavior an awful experience will be ordering online.
