I was searching online google for guitar stores near me and found this one. So I decided to give it a try and I got to say, this was my best decision I’ve ever made. The store had all sorts of cool things. What a great selection. But I have to commend the sales associate named Patrick. His ability to provide top level customer service and his knowledge one the guitars really impressed me! He made my experience that much better. I definitely will be coming back to see him when I purchase my next guitar. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This store is amazing and they have earned my business.

This was hands down the best experience I’ve ever had buying a guitar. Daniel was patient, helpful, and super friendly. The store is incredible itself with beautiful guitars from floor to ceiling. At the end of an awesome experience I walked away with a guitar that I love. A must go if you’re in the market for a guitar!

I went in for a repair on my bass. They fixed it right there on the spot, got my bass workin good as new. Very quick and detailed in their repair. Definitely recommend them for repairs!

What a great guitar shopping experience. Jeff worked with me to find just the right guitar. Tons of beautiful PRS options to choose from. Lots of time to play and compare. No pressure at all. Found an absolutely beautiful 594 Semi- Hollow. Jeff helped me find the perfect strap and then set up the strap locks. Fantastic shop with great help. Looking forward to visiting again!

This place is an excellent store not only for high-end guitars and equipment but for repairs. I had a hairline crack on one side of the neck of my SG Standard. I initially brought it to another repair shop in town who told me the neck was done and it would take at least $450 and three months to break it, put it back together it, set it, re-paint the entire neck and then keep tension on it for at least a month before it could even be played. This seemed suspect for something that was maybe three inches long and the thickness of a piece of paper. I brought it to Righteous instead and had Jeff service it. He was able to diagnose the crack and explain to me why it wasnt as big of a deal as I was being sold to believe (the position of it, the length, depth, the fact that it was just on one side, etc). A week later I got the guitar back, and as a result of the repair and a fresh setup, the guitar has never played better. I also brought a Les Paul Studio Deluxe here that Guitar Center told me had a neck so warped and twisted that it would never set up correctly. They were also wrong. Jeff, Ben, and the rest of the staff here are the best. Ill bring all my guitars here from now on.

I have never purchased an instrument here, but rather took in a guitar for a setup a few months ago - been hearing for years about their work and wanted to see for myself. These folks are not overrated in any way, shape, or form. I didn’t opt for a PLEK, just had Aaron do his thing and I cannot tell you how dialed in the guitar was when I picked it up. Beyond that, Aaron was a fantastic guy, and if you’re in the market for boutique guitars, or need work done to your own, you could do a whole lot worse than Righteous

You get treated really well at this place. The staff doesnt rush you to stop playing an instrument, specially if they know that youre very interested in it. Because of several factors, I decided to get my Gretsch White Falcon from these guys. But a big contributing factor was their patience with me while I took my time in trying the guitar, and their great customer service. Ive never seen a guitar store have such an extensive list of check boxes they have to go through before they send out a guitar. Highly professional, and I highly recommend buying from them!

Went to Righteous because they are local and are the largest Taylor dealer in the southeast. Spent about an hour and a half with Jeff whose advice and guidance were invaluable in selecting a magnificent instrument. Most importantly, it truly was the guitar that spoke to us. There was no pressure at all and the selection was perfect. Jeff shared his deep knowledge of guitars by explaining the differences in woods and construction and the features various brands offer. We could not be more pleased with our selection and with Righteous. Highly recommended!

Drove down from North Carolina just to go there. Super nice place. So great to go into a shop that has so much stock and get accompanied by a knowledgeable employee who stayed with me my entire visit, listened to what I was looking for, brought me every guitar I has an interest in to try (and a few he just thought I might like), and was as nice and accommodating as he could be. I wound up with a super nice guitar that I love playing and had a great experience along the way. Try for that in one of those “big box” guitar stores. If you think they’re overpriced, remember “If you buy cheap, you get cheap”. Do yourself a great big, fat favor and visit them. You will not be disappointed. Simply the best. If you play guitar and appreciate quality instruments, this is the place for you. And if you’re lucky enough to live in the Atlanta area, you owe yourself to pay the gang a visit. This is the guitar shop to end all guitar shops. Recently purchased a beautiful Heritage H535 from them and could not be happier with my purchase. What’s more.... it comes with a Plek service which I’m about to schedule. Jeff was one of the most patient and knowledgeable cats I’ve ever experienced in a guitar store. Excellent service and attention to detail. I purchased in the store and had a guitar shipped. The guitar was PLEK’d, restrung, and set up when it arrived only a few days afterwards. It arrived expertly packed, with a personal note of thanks and a quality check list. The guitar was 16 years old but arrived like it was brand new. These guys are great. I don’t normally do reviews but felt compelled to do so because the entire experience was as good as it gets.

I randomly drove past this place on the way to the library and decided to book an appointment because Im a total guitar geek. I was blown away by the selection of limited edition PRS guitars, custom Gretsch and Gibson pieces, almost every Divided by 13 amp. Theyve got some gorgeous Heritage and Cole Clark guitars too. This place is expensive though - you really need $1500-2000 on hand to even make moves and try everything you want to try out.I want to give a shout to Patrik Niiranen and give him 5 stars - he had a good customer service skills and showed me a really nice PRS SC58 and Heritage H-150 guitar. I may go back to their repair shop. Thanks Patrik!

Have gotten two of my Les Paul’s plek’d and they are now the best playing guitars. The knowledge of everyone there and quality of workmanship is tops. Highly recommend to go there and see Ben, Jeff and Scott.

I had Righteous Guitars PLEK my strat and it has never played better. I am able to have much lower action without strings buzzing and no more fretting out when bending strings. Afterwards, I had some tuning instabilities when using the tremolo. They had me bring it back in and went above and beyond to make sure there were no issues and everything was perfect. Very happy with the outcome. I am enjoying playing my guitar more now than ever. Thanks!

I recently took my guitars to get serviced at Righteous Guitars. I am extremely happy with the outcome and the amazing service. From the beginning, Ben helped me on the phone and was able to get my reservations situated for two guitars at once. Super cool dude and helpful - and this was around closing time. He even took time to talk a little about gear / guitars with me. When I arrived to drop off, they maintained all the safety protocols for COVID by adhering to a reservation system and limiting the showroom customers.They also enforced masks and had hand sanitizer ready at the door. Everyone was very friendly and also thorough during the check-in and check-out process. When I went to pick up the guitars, Daniel assisted me and ensured all was in good order. He carried the guitar cases over, opened them up, wiped things down and waited while I tried things out. The guitars still needed a little fine tuning. So he put them both back on the bench and adjusted. He kindly set me up with an amp I requested to try with the guitars. Everything sounded and felt amazing. After I had left, Daniel called and notified me that I had left the tremolo arm behind. I was almost home, so he said hed check on mailing it to me. I called to ask the status and he had already called me and texted me to ask if it was cool to drop it off in my mailbox since hed be in the area. Just moments ago, I saw Daniel pull up and I ran outside to thank him. Thats some unreal customer service and help. Thanks Daniel, Ben and the whole Righteous team. I highly recommended Righteous Guitars. Their service is second to none and their guitar and amp selection is amazing. Not to mention they have pedals ranging from Boss to boutique builders across the pond. Im glad I have some self control - otherwise, Id have my dream amp and collection of JAM pedals. Great stuff!

These folks are amazing. Truly the best. They did an amazing setup job for the 1957 Gretchen, that has been passed down through the family. The guitar finally plays and sounds like the guitar its always wanted to be. It literally brought tears to my eyes when I plugged it in.

The shop is clean, well laid-out, and the staff were very helpful in getting us taken care of and answering many of our guitar-care questions.They have an amazing selection of PRS, Gibson, and more, if you’re looking to pick up a new piece.I’ll probably be getting myself on the list for a PLEK treatment for my new Ibanez RG J Custom soon. Best guitar shop Ive ever known. I first discovered Righteous a little over a year ago when I was looking to try a Suhr guitar. Seeing that Righteous was the only Suhr dealer in the Atlanta area I went to give them a visit. The person that helped me out was incredibly helpful. I got to try out all the guitars I was considering, and have them all nearby in stands so I could go back and forth between them. I was also in a private room so I could really listen to the differences in the guitars- something thats really hard to do at the big music store chains. Recently I needed a new amp and went back to Righteous. I had another great experience trying out different amps side-by-side in a private room. Again this is something thats not really available at big chain music stores. Everyone at Righteous is extremely helpful and friendly. And I havent even mentioned their great guitar repair shop and PLEK machine. I dont live very close to Righteous but I happily drive to them because thats how good they are. I will be visiting them for any amp or guitar purchase in the future.

Alex was a great help! He hooked up several amps and cab combos, and helped me pick the right amp for me! Oh and I got to meet Rhett Shull which was nice lol!

I went in there the other day looking for a solid shredding guitar. To be honest, I wasnt really expecting to buy a guitar that day in particular. I went in to find a tremendous number of guitars from Schecter, Jackson, PRS, Fender, Etc. (They had everything). The stock was literally 3x what I have found in Guitar Center. The people there all know what they are talking about. They do not push, but they simply wait for you to ask for help instead. I ended up playing 4 guitars before I decided on a guitar from a brand I have NEVER played before. Absolutely amazing place. I would recommend to anyone looking for any kind of guitar. I want to give a major shoutout to Alex Santos in particular for all the help.

A carefully curated selection of guitars and amps. Really a fun store. Its like they skipped 80% of the generic or entry level instruments you ignore at a lot of stores, and picked the good ones. Very friendly staff that want to sell you guitars the right way...by having you play them. I was helped by James, who gave me a tour of their Suhr guitars. The quality of instruments in this shop are on par with the best shops in L.A., New York, Nashville, and Atlanta, if not better. I didnt see many vintage pieces, but the wallo Suhrs had me giving myself a serious talk to myself and my wallet about impulse control. Ill definitely be back when the time is right.

I have had my guitars for some time now but work (travel) kept me busy and away from them all these years. I finally had the opportunity to pick them up to take my mind off constantly working from home and everything that is currently happening around us. The guitars needed setup and Righteous Guitars was the obvious choice given their proximity. I had been there before and was amazed by their collection of guitars and amps. I went down there and the guys are just awesome to deal with. No matter your level of expertise and knowledge of the instrument, they treat you like a friend needing assistance on what is best for your needs and aspirations. I ended up getting all my string instruments (two guitars and a ukulele) set up/restrung at their store.I am now looking to take the next step and get myself a good guitar amp combo and feel comfortable saying I am working with very knowledgeable people to make the right decisions. Professional musicians trust their recommendations and no reason why one should not.

My friend and I were greeted warmly by the staff. This was only my second time there as I am not a local. Our assistant, Zack, was very friendly and attentive and you could tell he loves his job and helping customers. At no point did I feel like I getting the hard sell. If you buy a guitar there they will actually do some tweaks and prep on the guitar before it goes out the door. Just an outstanding experience. Whats more, all staffers are players who are friendly and very knowledgeable, ready to educate pilgrims and others who share a passion for six string nirvana.

Just recently found this dealer. So far, just brought in my heavily used Custom Shop Tele in for fret work. I rarely ever write reviews, but they did such an amazing job ! The PLEK process made my Tele better than it has ever played (even when it was new). And I thought it already played better than most, but it’s absolutely PERFECT now. Intonations from the first to the last fret are ON. I didn’t even know that was possible... like perfect. Thanks to whoever is doing the PLEK process at Righteous Guitars, they definitely know what they’re doing.

The best spot Ive ever been for acoustic guitars and the experts that know them. For sales and setups the staff here is top notch. Theyve sold me the best sounding Furch guitar that I play every day. And theyve setup my Martin and Taylor so that they play WAY better than I thought was even possible.

Had a SS refret done of a prestige wizard neck and the craftmanship is truly flawless, there are no markings or damage to the fretboard and it plays better than it ever did. Highly recommend this shop, was well worth every penny and the 6 hours of driving. 👍👍

I was visiting Atlanta and randomly googled Righteous Guitars to check out... Holy cow, this place was packed with more rows and rows of the exclusive, top end models that Ive seen in any shop, ever! The shop was actually one Id seen on a Rick Beato video, what a cool coincidence.The staff spent plenty of time with me and were as friendly as any guitar shop Ive ever stepped foot in. Obviously, every high end shop has a few pieces of eye candy but this place was off the charts! My final comment about Righteous Guitars and their incredible collection is that they an L-5 12 String! Yeah, a 12 string L-5!If youre interested in buying a guitar that your friends will have a meltdown over, Righteous Guitars is where you need to visit!

Unlike any guitar store I’ve ever been to. They have a huge selection of amazing guitars and amps, and the staff is very helpful and informative. The sales associate Charles even followed up with me after my visit to make sure I got what I needed or if I needed anything else. Customer service would get 6 stars if I could rate that high. Superb collection of medium and high-end guitars, custom work, trade and repairs. Several brands Ive never heard of, but am now glad that I learned. Good selection of amps and electronics. Private demo rooms. Very comfortable sitting area in the middle of the space. Parking is easy, not cramped. Im looking forward to coming back and selecting a new friend.

I just laughed when I walked in the door. One large room, filled wall to wall with clean, setup, ready to take home guitars from the likes of PRS, Gibson, Fender and some extremely exotic brands that probably cant be found in stock anywhere in this part of the country. Cannot wait to buy a guitar from these guys once I thin the herd at home. Demo rooms have great amps in them and have some acoustic treatment. Very casual folks working there that are not pushy at all.

I can recommend this as one of the best guitar shops Ive been to anywhere, and certainly it is among the best in the Atlanta area.

This place is super cool. They have all kinds of guitars and accessories. The staff is so knowledgeable and will help you out with anything you need.

Outstanding experience at Righteous. I drove down from SC to trade in some gear that had been gathering dust for 5+ years and was able to trade it in for an AMAZING divided by 13 amp. Jeff was super cool and walked me through all the possible combinations of sounds for my new amp and let me try a number of guitars that were so unbelievably sweet. Im not a gigging musician, Im a dude that likes to jam along with songs and pull stuff off of youtube and these guys treated me like I was a pro. Really cool vibe. No pressure. My highest recommendation!

Nice place. A lot of over priced guitars.The service was condescending and rude. The owner Jeff Gans was very patronizing. Me and my friend wanted to play two guitars together and we were told there is only one guitar chord. More than 200 guitars and only one guitar chord, interesting. I believe I received such terrible service because they did not believe me to be capable of purchasing a guitar. So if you don’t drive up in a BMW and flash a Rolex don’t expect receive service. I think I’ll spend my paycheck elsewhere.

Like the other reviews, I cant say enough great things about this place. You walk in and it feels like a dream. If Guitar Center is a Kia dealership, this is Ferrari. Even if youre not looking to buy, you can spend hours just gawking. The staff is as helpful and nice as can be. Seriously not a single person in that building that isnt helpful and cool to chat with. Ill never go to another guitar store in Georgia as long as Righteous Guitars is open.

I stopped in for a repair for a guitar that I purchased from another retailer. It was a white Jackson flying V.I came in needing severe work done to the guitar and Ben Calhoun was able to fix the guitar on the spot.I want to stress this was not a simple job or an easy fix. I will not get into the technical details of the work involved but it was quite a mystery.Ive been playing guitar over 25 years myself; I do my own work, and Im a low-grade tech in my own right. Ben Calhoun was able to push everything over the edge and figure everything out where several other techs failed.Ben never tried to charge me or anyting.I walked out of righteous guitars paying $0 for what I feel like was very high-value work and I really appreciate that.I live very far from the store and if I ever have a need for a technician Ben Calhouns going to be the guy I go see.-Corey McCaa
