I had brought 4 new wheels to have my current tires installed on the aftermarket wheels. I had black wheels and black accent pieces for them to install. Later in the day, I went to admire the new look of my truck, with the new wheels on it and noticed the tires in the back were low.Update*** I received a call from Manager of shop who apologized for the inconvenience and will issue a full refund for the costs involved.

I purchased (5) BF Goodrich Mud Terrain T/A KM3.First the staff. Helpful every step of the way. I specifically wanted these tires so they had to have them shipped from Oklahoma. I ordered on Thursday, was told they would arrive the following Wednesday. They arrived the day after I ordered them, a full five days earlier than quoted.! Got to the shop about 1pm. Was told it would take about 2hrs. Walked across the street to the bowling alley and played video games for an hour. Walked back across the street and the jeep was sitting in the parking lot ready to go. By 4pm Friday afternoon I was back on the road.There was one issue that they resolved at their expense and zero inconvenience or cost to me. No damage or anything, just an honest mistake with instructions. The way they responded was exceptional. They reacted immediately, were absolutely apologetic, and jumped through fire to make it right while making certain I wasnt inconvenienced in any way. Shout out to WJ, the manager, for seeing to every aspect of the correction.I never expect anything for free, and never expect to have to pay for someone elses mistake. Apparently Discount Tire feels the same way. These guys are awesome.Now the tire: BF Goodrich Mud Terrain T/A KM3 (305-70R/16)I was running the Goodyear Wrangler Mud Terrain MT/R (non-Kevlar) and had wanted the same tire. They have a good aggressive tread and last. Well, they dont make that tire any more. Thanks to Covid (thank you China), the new model cant be found. Same can be said about the Firestone Destination M/T2. Discount Tire was able to source the BF Goodrich Mud Terrain T/A KM3 for me so I went with those. These three tires were my only choices after weighing all the pros and cons of everything I researched.I read noise and ride complaints about all three, but these are mud tires with very aggressive treads, so thats to be expected. If youre taking the kids to soccer practice, dont put these on your minivan. If you like dirt and rocks and mud, you cant go wrong with these tires. Nice aggressive tread and I cant wait to test em out & get them absolutely filthy.Im also pleasantly surprised with how quiet and smooth these tires are compared to the Goodyear. The Goodyear is a great tire but I was expecting a loud rough ride... turns out the ride is quite nice. Again, for a mud tire. These are for off road, not for your Camry.So, great tires and a fantastic experience at Discount Tire.

Two things I want to begin with; (1) I have spacers on my car and (2) they are hub-centric. When they pulled my car up they had the spacer in the bag with my keys and said they couldn’t place it back on because it wasn’t hub centric…Why did the tech even remove it? And why claim that it isn’t hub-centric? I believe they didn’t take the time do put it back on due to sheer laziness..When I pulled in earlier, I was told that the wait was two hours, I patiently waited. Once they had finished my car and made their claim, I didn’t argue with the manager as I was so upset that I had to now go home and put the spacer back on after I had already waited for so long.I’ve been going to Discount Tire for years and I feel like this location is just lazy. Not just for this situation but they have also had similarly lazy interactions, about the work they can do, with other people I’ve recommended to go there.If there’s another Discount Tire that’s just as close or a little further, go to that one instead. I will stop recommending this location.

Mike, the store manager, was super helpful! I called needing to drop off my wifes keys before they opened. He said they didnt have a drop box, but that he would be happy to come in early and take the keys himself. GREAT customer service! Total experience was smooth and friendly.

Waited 20 minutes for service and I had to call inside the store from the Air Check line in order for an associate to acknowledge the customers in the long line to had begun to form, despite several associates walking past us.

I got a great rate for two terrain tires, they send me alerts when its time for air pressure check. Theyre always polite fast and efficient

Got 4 new tires. They had my car finished in 20 min. I did set an appointment beforehand.

I came in to check for a leak on one of the tire and expect to pay $$$ to have it fix. Travis checks my tires and let me know approximately when I should replace the current tires; there was zero upsell, just absolutely great customer services.It took less than 30 minutes and the tech found a nail in one of my tires and they fix it for free, zero cost and it was about 30 minutes of labor. If it was a car dealership, they would have charged me an arm and a leg just to fix the tire.

Had to buy new wheels. They hooked me up way faster then the time I was given. The A+ service was the reason I opened a credit card with them.

Every time I come to this location... the wait is long, the staff is never engaged, and they always cause damage to my vehicle and pretend that it was a previous issue. Discount tire needs new leadership at this location.

And I have compassion for people working in the service industry as I have for 10 years myself however out of the 4 or 5 people I spoke with, maybe 1 seemed remotely interested in speaking with me. Customer service at this location was sub par and as a female at a vehicle repair shop I did not feel comfortable and would not recommend my female friends to go here.

Best selection of tires. Each tire also has a tire warranty. You can also purchase additional coverage in case you get a flat or damage the tire and they will replace it free of charge. They are the busiest on weekends, but if you get there relatively early, the wait time isnt that long. The only place I go for tires.

4/2018 update: These guys are always friendly and easy to work with. Ive never had any issues with them at all. The restrooms are clean but the only issue is their NFC tap payment didnt work. Hopefully it was just a glitch.They serve complimentary water bottles and hot drinks.=================Ive never been to a Discount Tire with anything less than great service. And Ive been to quite a few different ones, inside and outside of Texas. Always friendly and always willing to help.The free air-check is something they dont make money off of but when I pulled in today, W.J. saw us from inside the store, came outside and said pull it right up! Then we did and he cheerfully aired up the tires. I bombarded him with questions because I noticed the machine set the PSI and he just attached the nozzle. But he didnt mind my questions. He just kept on working.This was my sons car so I was showing him how easy it is to get his tires checked and aired without spending $1 at a gas station and doing it himself.I recommend Discount Tire to everyone especially their prices as well!

Let me just say that this is the very best discount tire Ive ever been too. I was having a very rough day after work a 10 hours shift. Went to a Quick trip to put air in to my tires and one of my valve stems breaks. So instantly dread set upon me because Im 30 mins away from home and dont have a spear to get me home and have no towing service. What killed me the most was Discount Tires was right across the street. So I had to super glue the valve stem back together and pray to God I didnt run out of air before I got across the street to Discount Tires. On top of this Im on hard times running low on funds. I was able to get it done and Make it over there. Also I got there 13 mins before they close. I talked to the gentleman there and told him my situation and that all I needed was a valve stem and what I had to do just to get the air into the tire to get across the street. They got to my car in there very quickly and said no problem gentleman came up asked me my year model of my car and began to fix it. These gentlemen gave me no hassle or anything of that matter or try to make a bad situation worse they were more than happy to get this small task done for me which meant the world to me at that moment cuz I was very anxious and scared. I believe the gentleman could see that on my face. They just got done right at 6: 00pm when they close. Asked me to pull my car out the bay which I did help got me out and then I pulled up to park to go inside and pay. To me everybody this was the real kicker and this is what really touch my heart with this bad situation going on and everything happening. So I reached up for the door and pulled on it and the door was locked. So Ill walk around to the Bay side and ask the young gentleman that was the last person working on my tire who I needed to pay and he called the gentleman over who asked me the year and make model of my car. What does gentleman did that Im about to tell you its one of the most kindest things that could have happened to me and made me felt like I had an angel watching over me. I asked that gentleman how much should I owe and who did I need to pay. This gentleman proceeded to tell me that not to worry about it and God bless. My heart sunk at that moment to just have this small act of kindness after such a rough day. Sadly I did not get this gentlemans name but I did tell him thank you. I dont know if this gentleman knew how much it really meant for him to do that small act of kindness for me but it meant everything at that moment. So I wanted to come on here to say thank you and I highly recommend this Discount tire to anybody.

I went to get a new tire due to a blowout. The manager helped me himself and was very knowledgeable about all tires and helped me find the best one for my vehicle. They even upgraded my spare with a full size tire. The service was outstanding and the wait time was very minimal. I highly recommend this location for Discount Tire. Im sure the others are just as good but I cant really speak to that just yet.

Made an appt for 3:15pm to get my tire fixed. Waited in line for 20 minutes then to be told it would be 45 minutes to an hour for my tire to be repaired. Whats the point of an appt if I still had to wait in line nearly half an hour then wait another hour for repair. I left and went somewhere else.

Guy at Rockwall location was more concerned with selling tires than actually listening and resolving the issue at hand. Recommend is not you must. There are customers with actual professional experience beyond the average joe. Immediately took Vehicle to the Rowlett location, issue resolved with simple Rotation and Balance. Great work

I stopped by to get my air checked and they found metal in one of my tires. I made an appointment for the next day. Upon checking in, I was asked if I was going to stay in the store or not to wait. I told them I was going to leave the premises and ensured that they had my phone number. When I got back, my vehicle was being pulled out of the garage. I went inside and sat down to wait to have my name called. 30 minutes later, I finally approached the counter to ask if mine was ready. When it came time to pay they told me it would be x amount for the new tire, but I was never asked about putting a new tire on; I came in to get it patched. The new tire was covered and the charge was just to put protection on this tire, and I would have had no problem with them doing it if they had just asked. It is wrong to perform a service that was not requested without consent from the owner. There was a possibility that I could have said no, but I was not consulted before the switch. Overall, they did a good job with the repair and they apologized for the issue...I just wish I would have been notified before getting back and being told I owed more than I expected.

Got my big ole truck tires here at a good price! They ordered, had them in next day, and installed them in less than an hour. Good service!

Tire had rock that went through tire. Recognized as not repairable by tech and replaced by staff for $18. All took less than 25 minutes.

You would think they would keep their drive-up area clear of debris, also there Bay Area, which they do not!! I do not want to bring my car in and in up getting my tires re-punctured by their unclean area, so be careful when you come to this location (Rowlett). I brought my concerns to management and was basically brushed off. Beware stuff is everywhere & dead roaches in bathrooms! Come on Discount Tire, DO BETTER!!!

Many places just put in the vehicle make/model/year in there little program and said nope, that doesnt fit, we cant do that. The people at DT however understood my and helped find a wide selection base on my rims, not the vehicle... The proper way to do this things. I gave this shop a second chance. Made an appointment for 445pm. Didnt get waited on till 5:00pm. Then supposed to be contactless. The guy that came out to my window wanted me to roll the window down. I have a chronic health condition and so I careful with COVID19. I finally get in the bay and then they want me to get out. Its COLD outside. But I do. I have seen a TV commercial where they talk about contactless service and the man is sitting in the vehicle while they service the vehicle. The vehicle has been here before when they use a lift but I am some how supposed to know they are going to use a jack. Especially when I am parked on a lift. the guy that came over is RUDE AS HELL. Will go to another discount tire stored, one with this one.

I genuinely like this discount tire. I had a nail in my tire, and Costco told me it would be $15 to patch it. Discount tire apparently patches tires for free, even if the tires arent from them.One nice thing about this location is that it is right across the street from the bowling alley. Expect your car to take 60-90 minutes. Enough time to play a game or two, have some nachos, and come back to your car.

My aunt bought two tires in Houston and had them transferred to this store . Adam helped me and thoroughly explained why I needed best tires on back etc . Was very helpful and nice . My aunt was trying to see if it was possible to pay for tore via card/phone and he interrupted us and aggressively told us it was not allowed. It was against policy unless it was a return customer. Which was odd to me it was against policy but it was okay to repeat customers .Assistant manager Alex was a bit rude and abrasive about it . I’d return but not deal with him. 4 stars for time and adam -1 star for assistant manager.

I stop at this location about once a month. I get my air checked and they are always very courteous and polite. They are always conversational and let me know where my tread is at, so I know when to replace my tires.

Have been going to discount tire for years ever since we stopped by during a pouring rainstorm to have them look at a tire that had gone flat. They fixed the tire and did not charge us. Have now been back for four tire changes since then always getting great service and good prices.No complaints at all.

The store was very busy with lots of customers, but someone acknowledged me and said I would be helped soon. My experience was very positive, but I knew exactly what I wanted, and the cost of the tires, and I expected other overhead costs, so no sticker shock. I had to stay past closing, but that meant I did not have to reschedule to fit a hard or absolute closing time. Waiting area is large, clean and comfortable, with magazines and papers to read, and a viewing window into the installation area. All the service people were knowledgeable, and courteous to me and the other customers. I watched the person installing my tires onto my car and he was careful and thorough, even at the end of the day. This location in Rowlett is a bit far from my house, but they had the tires I wanted in stock. I can go to any location for rotation and balance service included with my purchase. After this experience, I am likely to return here.

I went to Discount Tire because my low tire light was on. As it turned out I had two nails in my tire. They fixed it quickly and didnt charge me a thing! In addition to that the technician working on the tire took the time to make sure I understood how to properly care for my tires. I havent had customer service like that in ages. It was very refreshing.
