The minute I walked into this store, I knew that it was going to be informative and friendly. Lacy greeted me and asked me what product I was interested in. She is not your average girl, she knows EVERYTHING about lawn equipment because she has been in the business for .. I wanted a Honda self-propelled mower and she had the perfect one for me. When I returned to purchase it, she had it ready to go in 10 minutes. Full tank of gas. The guy loading it was super. I have a 3 yr warranty and dont have to worry about a thing Thank you Lacy
I brought my mower in to have the blades sharpened. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The blades were sharpened while I waited, which was about 10 minutes. The store has lots of things to look at the so wait was a pleasure.
We visited Lakeview Power Equipment last Friday to purchase replacement blades and inquire about a special order for one of our mowers. The accessory we were looking for was not listed under the available accessories for our model, but not wanting to order something we could not use or to fail to provide a great customer experience the manager Kevin went out of his way to make phone calls to confirm if the accessory was indeed compatible with our particular mower. The store was extremely busy during our visit and he never once rushed to take care of us and took his time to answer our multiple questions. The entire staff was friendly and worked hard to take care of the other customers in a timely manner while Kevin gave us his undivided attention. Brittany is always a pleasure to deal with and Omar and Ty were on top of their game this day as well. Thanks for the amazing experience!
Hubby and I purchased a zero turn Gravely mower today. Our questions and concerns were explained throughly making our choice easy. Knowing it was the weekend and we needed to mow, they jumped right in and installed the mulching attachment, and hitch and I just received a call that our new play pretty is on its way to our house. What great Customer service! I highly recommend Lakeview Power Equipment.
Everytime I call this place they either dont answer the phone or put you on hold and dont come back. I called and asked to speak to a manager and he was condescending. Customer service seems to be lacking and with the attitude of the manager, I wont be spending my money at this local business. Unfortunate because I like to support small local businesses. However if they dont appreciate me, there is no point in appreciating them. I am the one spending money. My opinion is my opinion and it is based on Several calls to your business. Also placing a name on something that is NOT accurate. My dad Im sure will have something to say about you doing that! If you cannot handle an honest review based on Years of calling and being hung up on, placed on hold and never being answered, then go out of business or improve your service. My father just called up there to see why you have his name on something that he did not give you permission to do, nor was he part of this complaint. Oh and nobody answered the phone. Pretty simple for customers to test, they just need to call.
If you havent shopped here you are coming up short. There is so much knowledge about the equipment they sell. And you dont walk out with your equipment in a box. Its gassed and demonstrated how everything works before you leave with it. I cant say enough good things about this place. It might be the reason why I have been going there for years. Also the repair shop is honest and pretty fast.

Was thinking about taking my commercial equipment in there for repairs and maintenance. Poor customer service made me go elsewhere. I called and nobody answered and recorded line said to call back. I called back 5 more times at different time of the day and on different days and no answer. I just read another review with the same complaint. Then the owner names the guys father out. No thanks, I will spend my thousands of dollars with some other company and a company that takes responsibility for making a mistake here and there. Also a customers perception is there reality and if they perceive your rude, then take a look inside first before blaming others. Whenever someone gives a low rating, this guys usually goes low. Customer service 101 classes, maybe. Been in business 35 years and I am not always right and my customers know this.

Have bought several pieces of equipment here. Sales people are great, very knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions. I recently bought a commercial grade Gravely zero turn mower. They went out of their way to demonstrate it and make sure it was prepped and ready to go. Ive also had great results with their service department. Jacob in the service department was helpful recently with finding parts for an older Honda power washer.

Took my lawn mower in for service and expected them to have it 2-3 weeks. The mower was ready in 4 days. The service fee was way below what I expected and Omar was very helpful with my other lawn attachments.
We lost power on 2-15-2021 during the severe winter weather so I pulled out my generator but wasn’t able to get it started. I called Lakeview Power Equipment and Kevin answered and he answered all of my questions even though he was extremely busy. His employees weren’t able to make it in due to the weather but Kevin and his family were there taking care of many customers like me who had lost power and needed a generator. They actually sold all of the generators that they had in stock but they were going to be able to get me one the next day. Kevin had a loaner generator that he let me use until my new generator arrived. The loaner generator got use through a very cold night and then Kevin and his family delivered my new generator to my house the very next day. If you’re in need of any type of power equipment, I would highly recommend Lakeview Power Equipment. The products that they sell are of very high quality and there customer service is even better!
Billy and I went in specifically for a Stihl chainsaw and backpack blower. We were very happy with the expertise on what to buy based on the applications we would be using them with as well as the hands on training. From the minute we walked in the door, to the minute we left, we were treated like we were their only customers (and we were not their only customers).We would recommend Lakeview Power Equipment to anyone who needs good quality power equipment and the knowledge of the team there.We could have gone to a big box store, walked in circles and grabbed the cheapest equipment...and been unhappy or had to replace them after a few uses. I showed up at the store 5 minutes after they closed without realizing it. However when I told them that I wanted to buy a lawnmower they said they would be happy to help me if I could wait a few minutes for the computer to boot back up. I showed them the picture of the model that I wanted and they were concerned that it wouldnt fit in my car, so KK offered to deliver it to my house for free and it was here in less than 30 mins after I left the store. The service was absolutely unbelievable and everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. I also researched the lawnmower prior to visiting the store to price shop and they had the best price. This is definitely our store of choice from now on should we need any other equipment. Outstanding!

I have to take a second to give a shout out to Lakeview Power Equipment. The family that owns this place went completely out of their way Monday to show up and lend a hand to their community. They did not come in to inflate prices, and did not exploit their opportunity to capitalize on a act of nature. They did however show up to make themselves available to answer questions, make recommendations, and charge a fair normal price for their solution which worked out great for me and my family. The web Page add said they opened at 8:00am, the sign on the door says they open at 8:00 am, but the people inside the store talking and drinking coffee don’t seem to care if they open at 8:00am.When you are a self employed contractor you don’t have time to deal with people who don’t do what they say they are going to do. Waited till 8:05 left and spent my money elsewhere. My last visit to them!
Zero, if I could give. Called to have an item delivered. Was told couldnt pay for it over the phone. They agreed to hold it for me (last one in stock) . Taking my info. Called to confirm before we went to pick it up. Was told already sold. These people do not care about customer service. Do not buy from them. Zero Integrity

Excellent customer service! I have had my equipment maintained or repaired as needed with Lakeview Power for years. They always go above and beyond with my service. They are up front and accurate with lead times, even during the busy spring season. I wouldnt blame them for a delay if it based on a part ordered. If a part is delayed from their supplier they are at the vendors mercy as well.

I was quoted a price under $50 to fix my weed eater. Two weeks later when it was ready, they wanted $110 (nobody called me to approve any extra work). The managers solution was to undo the work and return it to me still not working. I will not return.

Been 4 weeks still havent received my lawn mower. Told me it would be ready yesterday. Called this morning and they are still waiting on the battery to my mower. Wow in the past excellent service. Yall could at least give me a date. So I called and told them I was going to come get my lawn equipment. Amazingly the part was there and my mower was fixed. Should not have to be out of character to get something you payed for.

I have been buying & servicing through Lakeview Power Equipment for many years. Three years ago I said goodbye to my gas powered gear and went to the top-of-the-line Stihl battery powered options. Mower, hedge clippers, chainsaw, trimmer, pruner & battery charger! I really love the system because they have the power of gas equipment without the maintenance hassles! I recently had my first glitch in that the FSA90R trimmer switch went bad out of the blue. Naturally it happened one month out of warranty! Lakeview Power was awesome in their handling of the unique problem with the unit!!! Stihl replaced the unit at the urging of Lakeview Power and Im extreemly satisfied!
Took my chainsaw in to be assessed. Runs fine just needs sharpened or possibly new chain. They refused to even check it out saying it was too old. Ill certainly not bother them ever again.

Diagnostic price is double of Home Depot. Employee gave me every reason to NOT leave my equipment for repairs. He explained it will take weeks before it goes on the bench and they might not even be able to fix it. I told him he had great points and I left.

They had worked on my champion generators before and did a good job but They quit working on that brand of generators but still took it in anyway to do a valve job. Adjusted them wrong and had many excuses on why they didn’t do their job right. Cost me several hours and I won’t be going back. * and a response to the owner response. You were a Champion service center and that is why I took it back again. You did mention that when I returned for the second time but you decided to take my money anyway. If you take my money then do the job, simple enough. Quit making excuses.

The service and repair team were able to bring back an original Honda HRC216 that most would consider scrap metal!Lakeview Power has the best in-store selection of lawn care equipment, accessories and parts for most mainstream manufacturers in the area. Pricing on new equipment, parts and accessories are standard. No price gouging at this fine establishment. Lakeview Power does offer a lot of sales and promos throughout the year. Prices for in-house repairs and service are fair and seemingly average for the area. They do offer limited service warranties on the repairs they’ve performed. However, I have not returned a single piece of equipment for a repeat problem!
I needed some premixed 2 cycle fuel for my lawn tools.This establishment had what I needed, thus I was able to acquire it. However, Im leaving a negative review due to the manner in which I was made to feel by the owner.First off, some background - I have used various types of power equipment and machines for years (having grown up on a farm in rural Idaho). Specifically, Ive used chainsaws since I was teenager and a Stihl saw for the past decade. After dropping $500+ on a new saw and walking out, the owner wanted to ensure I could safely operate the saw. I thought there may be something that had changed with this model and a refresher wouldnt be bad.However, the next few minutes were more like an episode out of a reality TV show as I received comments such as: Where do you put your hands, is the engine hot, and see, if you would have started it with the choke on, it would have flooded.The refresher itself wasnt bad, but it was the demeaning approach that left me with such a poor taste in my mouth. I have not felt that disrespected as a customer for a long time, and cant imagine sending my wife or friends there.To reiterate, my concern is not that I didnt need a refresher, my review is based on the condescension I felt in the approach. However, staff was friendly and there is a great selection of equipment.

Top Notch customer service! What an amazing business! I love how it makes you feel walking through the front doors of this place. It’s not your typical “lawn mower shop” that smells like gas. It is very pleasant and has the upscale feeling without the upscale prices. They offer so many services and have all the parts you need. They also carry the best commercial quality products and not the “cheap” stuff like you would find at the larger chain stores. This is my favorite outdoor power store around!

Lakeview Power Equipment offers great customer service, fair pricing, and dependable service. They treat you like one of the family.Just recently our riding lawn mower would not start, we thought it was from a previous problem/repair. Lakeview came out and picked up our riding lawn mower, checked it out, and found the problem to be something we had left on, running the battery down.They were gracious enough to bring it back to us, and didnt charge us anything for their time. Being retired, this was truly great customer service and we will continue to use their service and keep giving them five star recommendations. Their charges are fair and affordable.
Had riding mower in for starter replacement and full PM (oil/filter etc)Requested pickup and delivery which was right on agreed time.Used mower for a couple of hours a few days later and the transmission belt (20 year old belt) decided to retire! Stopped by shop spoke to Kevin and His Team ( @ 7:59 am and they open @ 8)and they could have not been nicer. Kevin came by later in the day picked up the mower again yesterday afternoon and just dropped it back off repaired and running like it has for 20 years less than 24 hours later. If you need any and all Lawn Power equipment serviced that we be the only company I would recommend in the Rowlett and surrounding areas. As info Kevin was nice enough to waive the transportation charges since I had paid for the first round trip

I had an issue with the chain on my chainsaw not tightening. I took it Lakeview Power Equipment and Luna assisted me. Basically he provided me with education for this amateur. He never made me feel stupid for my lack of knowledge but instead helped me get back in operation. Great folks...great service!

I sent my Generator to get it Serviced not starting. My Guys wired some wires wrong and what not. I dropped my unit off and since I use it for Commercial use the turn around time SHOULD of been a week. I had a BLUE TAPEso long story short 3 or so weeks Later I send one on my Employees to get it. 3 days Later I go to Start it and Nothing! Push Button dont work I pull and pull choke it Check gas/oil Nothing. Notice 2 bolts missing battery cable off and a BLACK wire hanging down not plugged in to nothing. No zip ties to make the work look good NOTHING. I CALLED and they said it was taken apart when I Dropped it off. Umm! know it was not so now there saying Come drop it off we will fix it. No stop it should of Ben Quality Checked and its my Fault for not Starting it then and there. So People take pictures of what Ever you Drop off. No wonder why they have a 3 Star Rating!
I know the owner (Kevin Kerbel). He and his staff are very nice and knowledgeable about the many products that are sold in his store. If you dont know and are looking for answers, go in and ask! You wont be disappointed!
I have taken my equipment to be serviced many times with great results however I take my commercial mower in to be serviced and get told that because I had not purchased from them I would not be a priority even though I am a commercial lawn company I will not be using or purchasing from Lake view Power Equipment nor will I refer anyone else to use there services

Ralph, great salesman answered every question I had on the Gravely zero turn I purchased. All the employees there were very polite and courteous as I waited for my mower, I almost forgot I was at a power equipment store were you often get Mr. No Personality behind the counter like at the other places.

My fist trip to Lakeview I took in my weed eater. Was prepared for the we are backed up and it will be a few weeks. Instead they said 3-5 depending on parts. They called the next day saying it was done. I finally found a power equipment store I will recommend.

They had everything I was looking for plus more. Everyone who rated this business with 5 stars definitely have been here. Those that rated with any less than that, must have went to the wrong place or never went at all. THIS PLACE IS LIKE A MAN’S TOY STORE! I plan to go back and purchase a Traegar grill next week.....those things are AMAZING! Plus the employees told me that they offer a special on the pellets for the grill. He said after so many are purchased, then you get a free bag! You can’t beat that! I have found my 2nd home!!! I had my old Toro mower serviced at Lakeview, assuming they would pronounce it DOA. Nope!! They got it running like new. Only took a few days. They invited me back for an open house. I purchased a Stihl trimmer. Lakeview offers great service, products and is locally owned. Highly recommended!!

My wife and I recently stopped in to get a lawn mower blade sharpened and take a peek at their Traegar grills. Needless to say; we walked out with a new Traegar, sharpened blade and loyalty to their team. The genuine personality, care and customer service from their team is unmatched in metropolitan areas. They gave me the small town feel of people just wanting to take care of people which is direly missed anytime you get near a metroplex.The team went above and beyond to explain our new purchase and the steps to get started using the grill as well as even offer to deliver the grill that night because it did not fit in our SUV. All of this was not within their day to day and was clearly because of their genuine purpose to do whats right and help out your fellow neighbor.Weve since signed up for their lawn care service for Sta-Green which has been equally impressive.THANK YOU for bringing the small town hospitality to the city and not losing the personal touch in the corporate revenue, reporting and review world weve come to know.Kevin was the outstanding team member who gave us the idea to sign up for Sta Green and I cant remember the mans name at the parts counter, Paul maybe? I complained that I requested no farther work to be done and the tech said he would have some one call me.Two weeks later the Service Manager calls about my picking the unit up. I informed him as to my dis-satisfaction and he advised me he would take the new parts off the unit and return an incomplete non-serviceable unit to me.I informed him that I delivered a complete unit and had expected to pick up a complete unit to sell to another individual with the multiple accessories I own. I asked them to split the outstanding cost of the repairs and he said he would check with the owners.The service manager called the next day and informed me that the owner would not spit the cost and I could pay 100% of the bill or they could remove the parts and return the incomplete unit to me. I consider their actions to be fraudulent and abusive.Your Desired Resolution:I believe that it was reasonable to request the reduction of the bill by 50%.
Bought a stihl weed eater bought the warranty used the.gas in a can. Had issues with the blower and weed eater not turning . Took it back yall plum lied to me about the warranty 2 weeks min and maybe cost me money on a new weed eater. 3 weeks old people . Before that went to get a tiller I liked said going to get a credit card came back you went from 1995 to 2250 on price with in 20 min. Asked the old man about that he said its the teriff tax what a joke another way to screw you I recommend got to Garland store not rowlett and the rep from stihl told.me that you should be ashamed.

Yesterday I went in to buy a small chainsaw to complement the other three chainsaws I bought from them and the choice was a 350 dollar one or a 550 dollar model. They were out of the 350 dollar one so I asked if they could work with me a little and I would buy the 550 dollar one. They said no… Lost a sale and a customer, I will not be back, ever.The owner’s response says it all. You don’t owe me anything but you lost a sale and a good customer just the same. Thanks for acknowledging my complaint was legit, hope people see how you treat your customers and go elsewhere to do business. Your ignorance and arrogance is certainly noteworthy
Terrible experience for warranty work. I have a brand new riding mower that I brought in for minor adjustments. I was told we will call you in 7-8 days and should be done. Well I called 8 days later and they said they got busy and wont get to mine till next week. Then it could be a few days after that. That is 3 weeks! I would not recommend this shop at all.
The service was A one. They found the part I needed and Ill definately return again.
Lakeview power equipment is above and beyond in service and parts.they had a specialty belt I would have had to order from the internet .when you need it today call lakeview power equipment.

I went in and was told if I leave my chainsaw they would fix to leave a credit card and they would fix it I went back bow they said it would be more money and still didnt fix my problem they guy Mark called me a liar and my saw stoll runs they same as it did when I brought up there... no excuse I feel like I was taken advantage of because I didnt know how to fix!!
