You can, (and should) purchase a vehicle from Cody and Sheila at Certified Auto Brokers with complete confidence and without any hesitation. I had looked for a used pickup locally, (Oregon) without any luck using the normal search options; Craigs List, Auto Trader, Car Max, etc... I use to live in Utah and was familiar with KSL classified so I gave it a shot and fortunately stumbled across a listing from Certified Auto Brokers for a 2005 Ford F150 4x4 Super Cab with only 49,600 miles! Trying to find a used 4x4 Super Cab pickup in clean condition with fewer than 100,000 miles for less than $19,000.00 is challenging to say the least. I gave Cody a call about the F150 and in less than 30 minutes we struck a deal. Sheila assembled all of the paperwork necessary for an out of state transaction and had it in the mail the same day. Within a few days all of the paperwork had been exchanged and we scheduled our flight to Utah. After picking up the truck, we headed back to Oregon the next morning. Along the way the check engine light would intermittently flash on and off causing us some concern. We called Cody after arriving home and explained the issue at which point he quickly asked, what can I do to help? I believe that most dealers knowing that I was out of state and had signed an As Is agreement would have politely blown me off, but not Cody. Without any drama he offered suggestions and we were able to workout an extremely satisfactory solution. Cody and Sheila continued to followup with me until the repair process was completed to my satisfaction. What can I say; Cody and Sheila at Certified Auto Brokers REALLY care about customer satisfaction during and AFTER the sale. Purchase a vehicle from these folks, youll be happy you did.
We just bought a 2011 Cadillac Escalade from Cody, he and Eric were fantastic to work with. If you are looking for a great experience purchasing a vehicle, this is the place to shop. Both Cody and Eric are down to earth great guys and really go above and beyond to make sure the buying experience is smooth and hassle free. We had an issue with the vehicle a couple days after our purchase, when I contacted Cody he was extremely apologetic and 100% committed to getting it resolved. The resolution took a few new parts and hours of shop time to get fixed, Cody remained completely committed and determined to making it right for me as the customer. In a world where the majority of customer service offers a “nothing we can do” mentality, Cody and Certified auto understand and do business by the “nothing we can’t do” mentality. I have found an auto dealer that understands that their business is taking care of the customer versus just selling a vehicle. Great job Cody and Eric, you have absolutely earned a customer for life!!I highly recommend you giving Certified auto an opportunity to show you how a vehicle purchase should be done, you will not regret it!!Thanks for going above and beyond for Amanda and I, we LOVE our new ride!!!!!Steve Hansen
Didnt buy from here because they didnt have exactly what I was looking for, but they are awesome. Down to earth, nice trucks for sale and no used car dealer BS.
Best truck buying experience! They are honest. Knowledgeable, fair, and no pressure. Thank you Sheila and Cody!
Drove up from Salt Lake found a great deal with Cody on a 2014 Silverado HD in very good condition we ran into some paperwork issues with our bank they held the truck almost 2 weeks so I could come buy it and reserve the experience they created also offered me really low pricing on accessories for the truck so Im dropping it back off in a few weeks for tint floor mats and heated seat upgrade for half the price of most shops I was very happy driving back to salt lake with my experience and this will not be the last vehicle I purchase from him. You need a gorgeous truck I highly recommend certified auto brokers.
UPDATE:I sent an email to Cody, the owner of Certified Auto Brokers and outlined my interaction with his sales person. He helped me understand that the sales person was under a lot of familial stress right now and his interactions with me were not indicative of how he typically interacts with customers.I was impressed with Codys response and as a result am adding 2 stars to my review. If it were possible to give a review lower than 1 star, I would. Over the last few days I interacted with one of their sales guys. I had a question on a line item on the contract that said, Weather Package valued at $129. I asked the gentleman what it was as that line item wasnt previously discussed. We had believed that there would only be the dealer doc fee. Still fully expecting to buy the truck, I just wanted to know what the line item was and if it could be removed. This was a smoked in car and my wife is very sensitive to the smoke. We had found a service that guaranteed to permanently remove the smell for $349. Given that we had to do this treatment to the truck, we thought perhaps they could remove the fee for us. You know, make us feel like they cared about us. After asking about the line item, the sales guy side stepped the question in a few different ways. All he had to say was that it was a non-negotiable fee. No one wants to lose out on a deal over $129, or so I thought. As a Consumer Reports reader, they advise: Be wary of costly add-ons. Service contracts, glass etching, undercoating, and paint sealants are all unnecessary add-ons to help the dealership maximize its profits. Dont buy them. This Weather Protection was a ceramic paint sealant.Given this information, I asked if that line item could be removed and this sales person changed course in dramatic fashion. Over a series of text messages that culminated in an expletive laced tirade (25+ F words) about all sorts of nonsense, I have never dealt with a sales person that treats his customers the way that sales guy treated me and my wife. Im still blown away.I would say that if they have a truck you cant live without, work directly with Cody and steer clear of his sales guy.
Purchased a truck in July 19. I understood it had high mileage, but the pricing met my expectations. However, since owning the truck, i have had problem after problem. The truck has been in the shop now 7 times, for non-high mileage related items. Apparently the truck was in a flood (no one at Certified told me this, nor did the carfax). Would not recommend this to anyone, unless you budget another $3k post purchase for repairs.
Seem like nice guys but sold a truck out from under me. Erik was supposed to call me Monday morning with repair info on a truck Ive been looking at. Erik didnt call until 4 PM and said he had the info and I needed to get back with him Monday or else another fellow was going to buy it Tuesday morning. When I texted him back Monday night he said its already sold. Very unprofessional and I wouldnt recommend doing business with them.
Cody and his wife are excellent to work with!! This is my second truck bought through them and I will be be there again. No pressure down to earth people. They take the worry out of buying a vehicle, can’t say enough good about them.
These guys did awesome. They found a car that I wanted in my price range very easy process.
