I put in an order for my sons birthday and everything was so fresh and delicious. We got bavarian cream, raspberry filled, lemon filled and lemon, raspberry and blueberry glazed. They were perfect!
The have old fashioned donuts now. I know they have had them for months, I was just late to the party. They taste better that their normal ones.
Second time they get my order wrong, I am done buying donuts there. I paid 16 dollars for 10 donuts when I placed an order for one dozen. The worst part is they always seem so rushed to get you out of there (hence the order mistakes) and they dont have that touch that makes people feel warm and fuzzy, which should be the case when you are buying something like donuts! I get better treatment from McDonalds than I do at Madbrook.
I frickin love madbrook! I am disappointed, however, that they have changed the bread that they make their sandwiches on. BUT the food is so fresh and very good quality. Also, I love pop
I went at 10 am and they were completely out of donuts! They said they are only delivered so many donuts a day. What type of donut place is out of donuts at 10 and arent fresh. This used to be a great place when it was the hole, but now its just a shell of its former self. If youre not going to sell donuts, call yourself a coffee shop!!! The lady was rude and told me I could get some at harmons. What donut place tells you to go somewhere else?
Love this little hole in the wall. The apple fritters are bigger than my hand and delicious.
Just Started Going back here after years of not going. Used to frequent a lot. Decided I needed a local place for Breakfast on the way to work and started going wonderful bagel breakfast sandwich!! Has yet to disappoint me.
We live the double blueberry cake donuts! That is the reason I go to Madbrook. The chocolate cake with chocolate and peanut butter is really good too. I don’t think they have a cake donut that I don’t like.
By far our favorite donut place. They told us they were closing the Roy location, which, if true, is devastating.
Great donuts. And I appreciate them following health ordinance but they were a bit rude to my wife who followed me in but didnt see their sign about only having one person inside. We both had our masks, my wife is a nurse educator. And after we left both staff, who were not social distancing, took off their masks and began eating over the donut case, completely visible to my wife who was in the parking lot. Just unprofessional and unsafe. I also work in food service.
I went at 7:30am and my donuts were not fresh at all. They were cold, like as if they had been taken out of the refrigerator. What’s the point of going early to a donut place and not getting fresh donuts? It was super disappointing. If they are fresh I can see how they have the potential to be good.
I absolutely love this place, I really wish they were open later. With how my schedule works it’s so rare I get a chance to stop by.
First time at this shop. Donut was very good, chai was good as well.
Fantastic! Always fresh and delicious. Perfect start to any morning.
Had a very delicious sandwich but was disappointed they were out of doughnuts.
Fantastic donuts, sandwiches are a little bland, but the donuts are great. If youve never tried them, you really should. They are a local favorite!
They never have donuts available all throughout the day. Not only that, their donuts arent always fresh.
Donuts are good. Service was fast. Price was good.10/10 would recommend.
Great donuts and great coffees. People are very friendly.
Great service and amazing coffee and donuts
Quality is good, but quantity is horrible. I go in at 8:45 on a Tuesday, and the entire top shelf is empty. No apple fritters, and the rest of the selection is bare-bones.
Donuts are made fresh every morning! If you want a variety to select from morning time is the best time to go. Great food and donuts. Meat is cut fresh and personally better than subway or Jimmy Johns by far
Hot turkey and avocado delish 😋
Close way too early. Decent sandwiches.
Love their doughnuts. They are amazing. We go there for a special treat. I had to order over the phone and they were very accommodating.
Always great customer service and always great signature triangle donuts!! Sad the chocolate cake donut with peanut butter gnache and chocolate gnache over it is gone, but the rest of the donuts are still so great!!
Nice place to buy yummy donuts and fresh made sandwiches and variety of drinks. A bit too warm in the summer, maybe the air conditioning wasnt working. Otherwise a nice place.
The donuts were amazing and the employees were so helpful and sweet. I will definitely be going back :)
I got a variety of 6 donuts for about $1.33 per donut (average of what i got). They were fantastic! LOVED their peanut butter and chocolate cake donut; to die for. They were nice and fresh. The chocolate cake donut had a thick, fudgy chocolate icing. The yeast donuts were nice and soft and fluffy. Would like to see their prices drop to $1 per donut, but still well worth the price 😊. Quality donuts guys.
Love these donuts!! We go a few times per month, always great, Great menu, just love the spiced chi!! And donut.. Good prices.
The only problem is if you want glazed donuts ou need to arrive early before 10 am.
Found out this is the company who makes the donuts that are at maverick and they are seriously the best donuts in the world!!
Love the donuts here. Have to go early or it will be slim pickins. Fritters go fast.
Wonderful donuts and super nice employees!❤ super quick service as well
The triangle donut was large and pretty tasty. Made up for the little bit more you pay. Usually have had good selection unless I go in after noon. Been a handful of times and had excellent customer service. I enjoy supporting a small business, having a donut drive thru, and the fresh tast
Donuts are good but overpriced. I paid over 30$ for a dozen donuts, two strawberry creams, two bacon egg & cheese bagels, and an apple fritter. I asked the girl at the window how much the apple fritter would be and she said, like 4.09. I asked if that was just for the apple fritter and she said yes because they only had the jumbo ones left. I was ordering it for someone else so I just got it. When I got all the way back to work I opened the donuts and they forgot the apple fritter. I called back and had them refund me for the fritter and the girl told me that she put 2.50 back on my card. I explained to her that the other girl told me it was over 4 dollars but she said I didnt get charged that. So who knows what I was really charged. The bagels were cold and not toasted or anything special (4$ bagels). Not sure I love the donuts or anything they sell enough to pay that much. Wont be back anytime soon.
Great donuts and the service was great
Got in about 10 am and completely out of donuts. Totally understand you want to only produce what you can sell. But 10 am is still early. First time going there will also be my last time.
I dont even think this donut shop deserves one star. Went there at 9:30 am and got a rock hard donut with sprinkles. They had a selection that seemed to be sitting there for a week- and I am talking HARD donuts. There is nothing fresh about them. The lady who took my order- the blonde with blue eyes was rude. Never again.
Ive been going here since I was a little girl, so to be able to see that this shop is still up and running beautifully and having even more delicious doughnuts I have ever tasted, better then Krispy Kreme donuts. I love this little place so so much!!
Best doughnuts in town! Can be slow sometimes during the morning rush, so i recommend calling ahead of time to pick up your order. Theyll have your order ready in 5 minutes usually :)
Donuts are great, breakfast sandwich tasted like it was microwaved from a frozen box. Its nice that they have other breakfast and lunch options but in my opinion you should go for the donuts.
Madbrook has not just put a new spin on donuts but on our minds as to what a donut shop could be. Fantastic donuts with excellent variety. Good sandwiches and atmosphere. Service and lattes need more consistency but otherwise an exciting place
Love this little donut shop. The staff is so friendly and helpful!
Food is decent. The doughnuts, are ok when they are fresh. I find their doughnuts in gas stations and they dry out quickly - and are not so bueno. The drive through is soooooo slow. People just cant spend 20 minutes at a drive through in this day and age for lunch (and that was with 2 total cars in line). My overall impression is, Its a mom and pop shop, but both mom and dad seem to be missing out on key service points and need to add something to the doughnuts that make them more moist. Glaze is also not very sugary, but I guess, some people like that.
The donuts are amazing! You have to get there pretty early though or all the good ones will be gone. But if you are there early just know the staff will usually act as though you personally woke them up early. The price is a little expensive, but its worth it if you get them fresh.
They have the best donuts around! You can tell they take pride in the work that they do
Donuts are amazing. Selection is very good. Service was great. Will be coming back again.
Great donuts and very affordable! Donuts were a mere $1 each! Chocolate peanut butter cake donut was great.
Good donuts. Fresh and soft. They had a leak in the roof. I hope they get it fixed soon.
Delicious donuts and sandwiches
Ever since Ive learned that the donuts they sell in the morning in Roy are not made fresh daily (but frozen (when??) and dropped off in the morning, I havent been back. Explains why the glaze on the glazed donuts has no gloss like a normal donut. Moisture from freezing makes it lose its shine. Madbrook took over or bought out The Hole years ago and the sign still says The Hole outside the building. The size of the cake donuts has shrunk to soooo tiny (they dont look like the pictures shown anymore) and the frozen explains why the last time I had one it tasted stale. I go to Harmons to get fresh and tasty donuts now. Would definitely support them again if they brought in fresh made donuts each morning and went back to their original size cake donuts vs the mini version.
Honestly you can get better donuts elsewhere. Too expensive! We went there and the workers did not say a thing upon walking in, and as we came up to buy a few donuts they just stared at us waiting for our decision. After we chose four or five donuts which they had plenty of on display. We sat down and waited for about 20 minutes, then I finally got up and asked them if they had our donuts and they had completely forgotten what our order was. I would have understood they were busy with a lot of customers, however, there was us (two people), and possibly four other people there. There was one girl standing at the register doing nothing as we waited 20 minutes and finally got the donuts. Will never go again or recommend.
I have been herr 3 OR 4 times I the past month. They are a donut shop. I have arrived anywhere from 630 am to 9 am. Today I was there at 8am. I have a list of donuts to the lady. She told me we are our of choc peanut butter, we are out of glazed, we are out of choc glazed, we are out of blueberry, we are out of cream filled. I asked her what they had left and she basically nothing for donuts. Really?? They are a donut shop. Is it incredulous to think they may sell donuts? This used to be a really great place prior to Madbrook taking over. And if Madbrook wants to be a success they need to sell donuts. They are always out at their Layton location too. It is really to bad that they do not meet the demand of what they are known for. They are also very pricey for their donuts. The chocolate chocolate donuts at 7-11 are so much better and a better price....and they are not out every time you go there. Skip this place and go to Einsteins or 7-11. It will be better I promises. I hope Madbrook read these reviews, it would help them be a better buainess.
🎲 First time experience- fast, friendly service. There was a large selection of fresh donuts 🍩 to choose from 👉 they even have Apple Pay💯
I went here today!! I ordered a turkey and avocado sandwich with a bowl of Chili and coke. I was handed a bag with avocado mush all over the inside of the bag, Cold Chili and a large coke that was literally half full with like 5 nuggets of ice and a big black hand print from a dirty hand! and no napkins! Fn Disgusting! I will not be returning!!!
I never heard of this place until I googled it so me and my wife thought we should give it a try. I thought the donuts was delicious and I loved the lemon filled donut holes and the peanut chocolate cake donut . I would recommend this place to anyone.
Delicious donuts just a little more expensive so theyre more of a tasty treat than a regular breakfast.
We went at 9:30 am and they only had 6 maple donuts left... what kind of donut shop doesn’t even have enough donuts for the day??? Very disappointing!
Every time I go they are out of doughnuts. This is a doughnut shop. So when i asked if they had any sandwiches left the girl was replying to me like I was dumb for asking because they are always out of everything when I go. And when I received my sandwich the bread is super dry and falling apart like its been out for a long time... its definitely not worth 6.50$ terrible experience.
I love Madbrook Doughnuts! They have an amazing selection. Their coffee is lacking, but if I have a choice of doughnut shop to get my fix, Madbrook is my one true doughnut love!
Really liked the doughnuts but they could do with a couple more light bulbs in there, its extremely dark. If I had my flashlight I would have used it just to see what was in the case.
25 minutes to make two sandwiches. Bonus points for getting them cold!Definitely not worth the price premium for such horrible service.
The donuts were amazing and the coffee was probably the best I have had yet.
Very delicious donuts. Worth the money and they are fresh. You can get them at their Roy location by Roy High, Clearfield off Antelope and at Station Park in Farmington.
Here at 10 am and they are out of most dounuts. Just a few maple bars and glazed, Im confused at why a donut store doesnt keep donuts that people want in stocked like all the other donut places. $1.25 for a small glazed donuts in kinda pricey. Cheaper and the same quality at a grocery store.
By far hands down best sandwiches around. Yummy doughnuts great food super service !
Great donuts for a great price. My boys love it here !
Great donuts if you can get here early enough
These doughnuts are amazing. They are nothing like the store bought ones! They are huge, fluffy, and absolutely deeelicious! I could not believe the huge selection of various flavours that they offer; it was so difficult to choose which ones I wanted so I ended up buy a few of each to take to my work with me. Everyone in the office loved them and requested only these doughnuts from now on.
Good coffee and yummy donuts. Plus the prices are reasonable
Good food, very high prices.
Friendly and upbeat staff! Excellent coffee and delicious doughnuts.
Amazing donuts, good price. I love the chocolate peanut butter, the cinnamon crumble triangle and the blueberry.
Donuts are good, bagels not recommended.
I went for the cake doughnuts, and found to my surprise that they arent as big as they were before when the place used to be The Hole. Price is ridiculous for those small doughnuts! Krispy Kreme is now my doughnut place. (cheaper, more variety, no triangle doughnuts)
Donuts are good, coffee is meh, service is alright. I dont go here a lot but Ive been a few times and Ill probably still swing in occasionally.
Was a good place when it was The Hole now overpriced mediocre dough.
Prices are too high. I went to the one in Station Park last spring and a dozen donuts was listed on the sign as $9.95. The girl told me the sign was wrong. They had gone up $3.00, which is ridiculous. I told her that if the sign says $9.95 by law that is what they have to charge. She said no. I went there today and the sign says $9.95, so I asked and she said the sign was wrong. Really, how long does it take to fix that? And whenever I call no one ever answers
Delicious donuts, that’s all.
Great donuts, need to get there early for good selection
Awesome place very friendly and great donuts!!
Great donuts and coffee, just a bit pricey
Amazing donuts. Great sandwiches.
Very delicious donuts!
Wish we could get these donuts in Ogden. Apple fritters are my favorite!
Sometimes I have trouble getting a chocolate cake doughnut. They are always out.
Who doesnt love fresh doughnuts
Waited 40 minutes and our hot sandwiches were child.
Good donuts to pricey
Stale donuts with an odd flavor
The service wasnt very good. It took the barista about 25 minutes to make three coffees.
Every single time me and my wife go there and ask for no mustard they put extra on. Even when we say it multiple times. It’s frustating paying that much for food ya cannot even eat!
Every single time I go in there they are out of donuts, today they were out at 9, I am done there, used to be my favorite place
Best donuts anywhere!!
Square donuts? Who can say no!
Quick service and very delicious
Blueberry the best!
