Really like this place. Came in with my xbox not working and they got it working within an hour. They also had games to play while we waited inside and they were really friendly as well. If your looking to get something fixed or ask questions then this is the place to go. To get it fixed wasnt overpriced at all like other places and we payed pretty cheap for something that wouldve cost us more.

Just had my PS4 pro deep cleaned by these fine folks and couldnt be happier. It was thorough but quick. I think I was out of the store in less than 30 minutes. My PS4 is whisper quiet now. They put a fresh coat of thermal paste down as well. I definitely feel that I got my moneys worth going here. They actually care about your console.

I came and bought nothing but that wasnt because they didnt have a great selection at fair prices. I didnt buy anything because Im from out of town and I wouldnt be able to fit anything in my backpack haha but I wanted to leave a 5 star review because of how friendly and nice the staff was to me. I came here to Utah to check out a new job and possibly move here. I was exploring and just feeling very overwhelmed so I decided to go to my comfort zone and look up a retro game shop. I decided to go to here because they had the best pictures. I looked around for a while and then one of the employees noticed my shirt and asked me if I was looking for anything. One thing led to another and I got to ask them a bunch of questions about the area that made me feel a ton better and not so overwhelmed. Thank you guys for being awesome! Numbskull is such a great service, dedicated to repair and refurbish games and consoles to their best condition. These guys are also fun to be with; they are knowledgeable, friendly, sincere, and appealing in my point of view. They have a great selection games and products to fit your gaming needs. I brought in my xbox one controller after my headset broke off in the headphones jack and got stuck inside. I called in a panic because its not cheap to replace a controller (much less one Ive had no issues for years), and Casey was super nice to me and offered to help. I showed up today and he was absolutely amazing, he was incredibly nice and awnsered all of my questions. Normally when I go into these types of stores or social spaces with games, I get talked down to, ignored or straight up get insulted by men. They made me feel welcomed from the start and I really want to thank them for that. I will definitely be back.

Numbskulls has a wide selection of games going back to the early days of gaming and at amazing prices. I had 2 disks that was unplayable. To get another I would have to fork over $180. I came here payed $3 each disk and now I can play on either disk and enjoy a small part of my childhood again. Thank you, numb skulls!

Very cute store! Took my ps4 to get it fixed yesterday, but to totally repair it, he said it would be risky and expensive. So instead I bought a new one, and he took 150 off because I just bought the system by itself and added extra space. Very friendly and fun people. Thank you!

This place is great 5/5 the place has games that are available for everyone. But some other places only have the brand brand new games now they barely have any ps4 games its only ps5. Plus numbskull can fix things and these days its hard to find a place that fixes your equipment.

I tried fixing my Switch Lite and had success fixing what was wrong, but then broke something else in the process. Other places didnt know how to fix a switch lite or they had to outsource the work. NUMBSKULL was recommended by another shop in Salt Lake and it was well worth the hour drive up. The wait was reasonable, the work was diligent and superb. Ill definitely be returning.

My kid loves coming here and finding old video games. He even got some games from here for Christmas.

This place is great for retro gamers. Their prices are better than online or any other store. They also give better trade in value than any other game store. I would recommend this place. Even if its out of your way its worth it. Every time I come in this store they have an NES game I dont have that is collectable and they are mostly under $10-$20. I saw the one star review on this store and I can say that review is complete B.S. come in this store and give them a chance

Employees are very knowledgeable and friendly. Have always felt welcomed in their establishment. The sales floor is very clean and well organized. I personally love the gamey decor to each their own.I have purchased a few consoles and plenty of games from the numb skull guys and everything worked as expected. The only con I have seen is that if there are multiple customers in the store it can take awhile to get their dedicated help. So if your trying for in and out shopping is a 50/50 but if you are stuck waiting they have awesome games you can play while you wait. My overall experience at numbskulls is the most refreshing shopping experience that I have had in the last 20 years I cant tell you the last time I was excited to go to a store. This place makes me feel that way.

I am so impressed with how they were able to get my boys’ Xbox’s up and running again for me even after one of them had soda spilled on it. I definitely recommend them.

Exceptional, Above and beyond, Outstanding! Are words that dont summarize this place enough. I came in with a broken PlayStation 4 with a burnt out South Bridge (a near impossible repair by most standards.) They not only made the repair, but they kept me informed every step of the way.I received quick prompt service. I was never upsold or talked down on. I really felt welcomed in their store. This place is amazing! I screwed up and tried to fix my sons xbox and just made it worse. I was just gonna drop it off and figured Id pick it up in a couple weeks. Once they found out I lived an hour away they repaired it on the spot and let me watch, and was really cool. The selection of vintage games was really fun to check out. I paid less than I was expecting. Great place with better people.

NUMBSKULL is a place I frequent because of the great selection from old to new. It’s a collector’s dream to walk into. It’s fun and inviting with arcade games to play, couches to sit on and read an old Nintendo Power magazine, or you can just shoot the breeze with the staff because they’re relatable people that you can talk to about just about anything. I like that the store is clean and the products are as well, for how old some items are especially.I also had them repair a lens on my Virtual Boy system and were quick to find the problem and get it working well. Super great place. I recommend you go!

We went in to have a switch fixed, and were assuming we would drop it off and pick it up at a later date. They diagnosed it, and fixed it, right there on the spot and did it very quickly. Their friendliness and positively was outstanding! The gentleman that fixed the switch seemed so knowledgeable and capable.

Amazing experience. I took my Xbox One X here for service. They had it done in under an hour for half the price Microsoft wanted for the same repair.

I echo other reviews for this store! These guys were awesome! Im not a gamer but they didnt make me feel like I needed to be. They troubleshot our Wii, fixed it for a crazy good price, and helped me find some good games for my 11yr old boy. And they got out their little BB8 remote robot and let my boy drive it around the store while we were waiting. I have a new favorite store for my repairs and gaming purchases. I cant recommend them enough...10 stars!

My kid stuffed some toys into the disc slot of my ps4. Brought it in and they repaired it quickly. They even cleaned out the dust for me while it was opened. Overall great experience!

Hate this place, they over price everything. I called about a used Xbox one x they told me $378 went to game grid and paid $224. They over price games so much . for a example a $5 ps3 game everywhere else is $20 to $30 here. Hell game stop is cheaper and that is pretty sad. So go to game grid where you will get the right price for used. They try to say fair market value and that is a huge lie that this place will tell you, but any other store will tell you the same thing about this place and how the price things. For a example RockSmith without the cord is the same price with the cord at other places. The NES has 72 pins and so on that they dont truly refurbish, that I am 99.9% sure on. What they price at used even though it is in fact lose they price the same as for complete games. Went in to price things, plus called to see about 1 gaming compoint that they refuse to carry to a game that it is needed for and yes rocksmith requires a usb to 1/2in that you can buy at Walmart.com for $13.80 or the game with cord new for $30. As for the price matching they say they dont do at all, I would shop around at other game stores, that really value customers. They also are over priced like Entertainmart. I got 3 xbox systems for what they wanted for oneThey also tried to push a switch lite on me when I called about looking for a normal switch I tried the first part of February 2021, march of 2021, and April of 2021. The so called owner only proved my point even more. Telling me to man up over my consutional right to free speech so my federal birth given right. also showed how they treat police and all other members of law enforcement and the military.

I have have twin boys...they are rough, indecisive, 12 year Olds who want and need everything. The guys at numbskulls are awesome, they hook me up everytime. This place is way way way better than gamestop for sure...

Very fun place to go to. Staff really seemed like they knew thier stuff. Very friendly. They fixed a sticky button on my play station controller while they were looking at my sons Xbox.Awesome customer service all around. They figured out what was wrong with it in only a few minutes.They couldnt fix it right away only because the the guy wanted brand new parts instead of used ones to put in the console.

So after watching and following one of those DIY cleaning videos I put my PS4 pro back together only to have it not work. I was frantic I was almost crying, I was wanting to kick myself Oh my god I messed up big time the next day I took it to the guys at NUMBSKULL and within 5 mins the tech guy smiles at me and says, Did you take out the power supply? INSERT FOOT IN MOUTH SAYS I to myself. Later that day I was sailing the high seas in AC VALHALLA, tearing up terrorists in Ghost Recon and blasting X-Wings in Squadrons. They also gave me some great advice on how to check/fix the res on my wifes gaming monitor all that was needed was a new HDMI cable. Without a doubt the guys at NUMBSKULL are the best and just got the Ginn family as lifetime customers. NUMBSKULL TEAM ROCKS!!!

I love this store, very friendly customer service. They have lots of reto videogames, Ive only been there two times but so far they have just about everything Ive been looking for. They can also buff out scratches to a lot of your scratched up game discs. Highly recommend Ill be coming back for sure.

These guys are amazing! I took my Xbox in somewhere else.... Didnt do my research. They had it a week and a half and hadnt even diagnosed it. My wife told me to go get it and take it to Numbskulls. They had it diagnosed and started repair before my work order was even complete. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes!!! The definitely know what theyre doing.

We were in the shop today. These guys were professional and efficient. Replaced the laser in my Wii in about 30 minutes. Very cool store with lots of cool stuff. I drove past other repair shops to get to Numbskull and I am glad I did. I highly recommend them.

I came in the store due to my son having spilled Sprite in my Nintendo Switch Lite. My right joystick was broken and I needed it replaced. I walked in the store and right away there was hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes on a table. Very friendly customer service and the store is clean. Very clean. The video games they have ranging from super old school, to the new games, is remarkable. The games looked very well taken care of. They had 2 N64s in the counter at the front and let me tell you, they were in superior condition. Very impressed. I need one now 😂They were able to get my Switch fixed very fast and it was cost efficient. If you have any issues with your systems or are just looking for a game, (collectable or not) stop in here. You wont be disappointed. I highly recommend!

Employees are friendly and know their stuff. Went in for a sticky open button on a Gamecube and they were able to clean not only that and all the vents and slots and now no more sticky button. Also, its worth going every so often to see what new product they get in.

This place is great and fun! They have a super friendly staff and tons of retro items for good prices. There’s kiosks in place so you can play games. We sold a lot of old consoles and games and he offered us a better deal than most places would. My husband and I will be coming back here for video games now.

Excellent selection of games and accessories 👍Took my fiance with me to their store a few times for some 3DS accessories, games, and repairs. The store is very clean and neat, and has a great selection of older, vintage games as well as the newer titles for old and new consoles. One of them took apart a 3DS XL in just a couple minutes with ease and found out why the top screen wasnt working. They definitely know their ins and outs with Nintendo products and I wouldnt doubt their skill with other games and game consoles. Theyre easy to talk to, really attentive to questions and give great advice. Planning on getting some Switch Joycons fixed there tomorrow. Never left a Google review before but these guys deserve it. Went to buy a snes they had them in stock and in differing ranges from stand alone to still in a box. Then when I wanted to get 2 controllers they made sure to tell me the cheaper options to fit what I was looking for. They werent pushy in sales and I will be going back for more.

I just returned to the states from the Middle East on leave.When I got home my PS4 was not working and a blue light kept flashing. I stay near West Jordan so I went to an electronics repair place near me and they were unable to fix the problem. They suggested I go to Roy and try Numbskull.Anyways long story short I went there and they fixed it within 15 minutesDefinitely worth the trip up there, saved me the trouble and money of having to buy a new system.5 stars for sure.
