I didnt expect 2-star quality from Acme Glass as Ive used them in the past and have been pleased with them.The back window on my truck needed to be replaced under the manufacturers warranty and my dealer subbed the work out to Acme. I was pleased to hear that, as I have trusted Acme in the past like I said.When I got my truck back, I inspected the areas where the work was done. I noticed three areas on the trucks paint surrounding the back window that had been scratched through to the bare metal, excess adhesive on some trim and paint, and the technicians left trash in the bed of my truck and under the back seat.I will attach pics of the paint scratches and leftover adhesive, but I didnt take pics of the trash in the bed (some rubber molding) or the orange tootsie roll wrapper and cardboard under the back seat. You know who you are ;-)

In for a rock damaged windshield repair and was met with the nicest people, Jennifer wrote my ticket and had my keys back to the repair department in a flash, waited only a short time and she let me know that my car had been repaired and was ready. So smooth, fast and friendly. Way to go; Acme Glass!

I’m so thankful I came here.I was driving through Louisiana just outside of Monroe and my car got popped with a rock. I found this place after my insurance was being difficult. The price was amazing!! The lady up front named Jennifer was so nice! I appreciate them so much!!!

Went in to have quarter glass replaced in minivan. Window was defective and fell out. They ordered a replacement that was also defective. Ordered another and so far its working out. Theyre very nice accommodating. Hopefully this was all just bad luck.

Acme Glass and Mirror were so accommodating! We were involved in a hit and run on our way to Destin for vacation. We pulled up to their shop and they fixed our mirror within 10 minutes! We were traveling with 4 small kids so we really appreciated that they were able to get us right in! Great people! Thank y’all so much!!

Please take my advice: quick story.Overall:A great experience. Friendly, fast, fair pricing, and professional. Exactly what you want when a rock chips your windshield.Story:Girlfriend’s car got a chip in the windshield driving home from work. I went and got a windshield kit from the store and figured I could fix the small chip myself. DO NOT DO THIS. Here’s some pricing breakdown for you. Acme says small chips cost $50 to fix. The kit costs $12-15, don’t let this $35 difference ruin your windshield. The $35 difference is made up with the warrantee and better materials. This $35 “saving” cost me an entire windshield.I tried to fix this myself, followed the directions step by step. But the vacuum you have to form to inject the resin ended up being too much for the crack, MAKING IT WORSE. So much worse that I had to replace the entire windshield. People don’t seem to talk prices on line, so I will give you a ballpark. Our Toyota Camry was $225 + tax. Geico recommended Safelite, and the price there was almost $400. Reviews on Reddit for Safelite are not favorable anyway. So go with Acme.Next, CHECK YOUR INSURANCE. Most car insurances will WAVE THE DEDUCTIBLE FOR CHIP REPAIR. So the $50 would have been covered, go figure. Our deductible was $500 for windshield replacement, so we had to front the $225, hard lessons learned.So, overall, don’t fill chips and cracks yourself. Just don’t. Take your vehicle to Acme, pay the $50 or better yet, have your insurance possibly cover it. I will never use a kit again, seeing how easy it was to make matters worse.Thanks Acme for making my frustrating day, a lot more smooth sailing.
