It is a great place to shop as well as to learn the latest techniques in Quilting and embroidery. There Is a wide selection of fabrics and notions and a very helpful staff to guide you in your selections. And what a wonderful selection of sewing machines and sergers. It truly is a great place to shop.

I had to go look for a valance lining fabric...I had NO clue what I was doing. The nicest girl helped me to find something. I didnt get her name but she was really sweet! THANK YOU!! Perfect place to go of you need fabric. Then, after a hard day fabric shopping, you can go to the coffee shop just a few doors down!

This is the first time I have ordered anything from here. I had to find some fabric that in Missouri is not available. I placed my special order early this week. Literally within a couple of hours of having placed my order I received an email saying my order had shipped. I received it today. Exceptional service!

The Fabric Shop is the best fabric store that Ive been to. Ive been taking sewing classes in Ohio, Texas and Louisiana for 40 years. The owners Ron and Louise Adams provide classes with industry leading educators. The classes at The Fabric Shop are some of the best Ive attended. The Adams also are very knowledgeable about the sewing industry and the sewing machines sold at their shop. The service is outstanding and the customer service is exceptional. Living in Michigan we have wonderful quilt shops. It is a pleasure to travel and see many other shops around the US. I always get excited when visiting Ruston, Louisiana because my shopping experience is amazing at The Fabric Shop. Warm wonderful staff and awesome fabrics too!

I want to say how dissapointed I am in this shop for false advertising. I collect the row by row license fabric plates from different quilt shops. I drove all the way from Vicksburg MS on Mon Feb 18th took over two hrs got there at 5:10 pm plenty of time to visit only to find after traveling all that way they were closed.Onine and on the window says 530 pm if it says 530 pm then 530 it should be. ( STORE HOURSMonday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday10:00 am to 5:30 PM!!!! posted online and on window.) Lucky for me I found another shop in town also closed but still there had the license plates and allowed me to shop. The shop was awesome and the owners were owners. I will back to that shop in the very near future but will not be back to this one. They lost out on a very lg sale.

We frequently visit The Fabric Shop when we are in the Ruston area. I have been thoroughly impressed with the selection of sewing machines and accessories, notions, quilting fabrics and fashion fabrics. The variety of fabrics and sewing accessories available for any type of seamstress is excellent! The staff at The Fabric Shop is always helpful and extremely courteous. They have made me feel very welcome anytime we are there and are always knowledgeable regarding any questions I have. If you are in the Ruston area, a stop by The Fabric Shop is a must!

This is truly a great shop,, it has a wonderful selection of fabric and they have great classes. The classes are truly a bargain. It is hard to believe that a town the size of Ruston has such a quality shop.

I love visiting The Fabric Shop! Even when I dont have a sewing project in mind, there is always some new fabric that catches my eye, and I just have to get. The selection of fabrics, notions and sewing machines is extensive for a relatively small location. A must visit for crafters traveling I-20 through the Ruston, LA area.

This shop is a gem among fabric shops! With fabrics to meet virtually any sewing project, including fancy silks and embroidered taffetas, linens and wools, more cottons than you can imagine, burlap, canvas, vinyl, tulle, and knits, The Fabric Shop in Ruston is truly a treasure for north Louisiana. The stock of buttons, lace, and trim is impressive, as is the wide variety of notions. If you need a machine, whether for basic or experienced sewing, sergers, embroidery, or quilting, this is your place! Being locally owned and operated is another aspect that makes it so appealing to me. Its an easy little side trip off I-20. I would encourage all to make it their first choice fabric shop.
