Great place, great people! I look forward to them expanding their board game inventory; at the moment theyre pretty heavily focused on role-playing games. I also would love to see them expand more into a board game cafe model. Love that this is a local business!

Love all the cool different and unique products they have. I would go everyday of the week! I always find something amazing to add to my collection. The staff is always super accommodating and always helps as much as possible. I recommend everyone stop in at least once to check it out.

They recently moved to this location and have a wonderful space with a huge variety of things beyond what I was expecting (they sell 3d printers and racing drones)! The guy checking me out was very friendly and we talked for a good bit after I had finished buying. This place passes the vibe check for sure.

Alvar and Hurricks beauty isnt in what it is so much as what it strives to be, a business less focused on solely making money but on building a community of gamers. Starting with a wall of novel games that are free to play and open tables to play them, they also offer drinks and snacks but EVEN allow you to bring your own. Products include role playing games, board games, miniature figure games, and all manner of card games. Additionally they have a nice selection of electronics for the hobbyist and roboticists. Lastly, they have a nice focus around health and family!

I cant say enough great things about A&H Games. I came in after submitting a buylist and was helped by Chris. He was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. They have a huge card playing area along with everything you need for your MTG, Warhammer, etc collection. I definitely recommend them and will be returning in the future.

The staff is great, willing to answer questions and give help. Nice selection that continues to grow, looking forward to my next visit.

When A&H games came to town I couldn’t believe it. Ruston had gone so long without a shop like this. It has good workers, Good selections, and if your just getting started out in mtg, Pokémon, warhammer, and dnd this is a good place to be.

I cannot give these guys enough praise. I had my truck broken into and a lot of cards stolen. Not only did they 100% work with me and the police but were above and beyond nice about the whole process. Too top it all off, the owner even replaced a playmat I had bought from them a couple of months prior (that was not with the cards they secured) for free. So to all the employees there, thank you.

A clean, safe, and very friendly space for gathering and playing role playing games with friends. They sell all of your gaming needs and a bunch of old Radio Shack products, too. If you are a nerd, geek, dweeb, or just a dude or dudette who likes this kind of stuff, go have a fun hang there!

Great place for any gaming fan. Always fun to just hang out and always feel welcome. I collect Warhammer 40k and stop in when I need something. Everyone is friendly, helpful, always make me feel welcome. Great place!

Im an introvert, I hate talking to people.The people who work here make it super easy though, barely an inconvenience.Every time Ive been here there has been multiple groups of gamers playing everything from D&D to Pokemon to Magic the Gathering, so if youre into that, check it out

Great place to go hang out. They have multiple tables that can be used for board/trading card games and D&D campaigns, and they also have a TV available for playing video games.

A great nerd store that also has a solid selection of LA Tech engineering stuff for arduino and wiring needs.Its a great place to sit down and play tabletop games, buy very well-priced dice, and check out a good selection of miniatures and game materials. I personally love the occasional flier showcasing recent Unearthed Arcana. Really friendly staff too, and the atmosphere is really nice, the store just attracts people who encourage discussion on this fun hobby.

Friendly and laid-back atmosphere with a decent selection of goods for any nerd. Love the gaming spaces. Feels like a mix between an offshoot con in a small town and visiting a friends house.

Always enjoy visiting this place. Any kinda board game you want to play, also they have free ones to play in store. Great community for multiple games, including war gaming and DnD.

Though I dont live locally, my kids do and when I come over to see them we usually hit up this game shop. Great guys that are open to doing due diligence to make sure they are on top of things.

This is an excellent hobby shop with a good selection of modern mtg staples. The service is top notch and they are really fair on trade ins. Anytime Im in Ruston, I will be visiting this place.

This is a good tabletop/card shop in the small town of Ruston. They have a good selection of items and a great environment. However, there seems to be an issue of not respecting the Warhammer community. There has been times were they have told people they have to leave, while in the middle of games, because they need to accommodate space for other players for other games. This is absolutely terrible and needs to be fixed quickly before any other issues occur. Warhammer and other tabletop players beware, make sure you call the shop and know the event schedule or you might be asked to leave.

Great staff and standard selection of the regulars. Good table space and pretty regular events. Magic looks like their bread and butter, but theres plenty of DnD, Warhammer, Yu-Gi-Oh, pokemon, and other board games and books, etc.

Extremely helpful, polite, and an overall fun place to go. I will be back for all my MTG needs!
