No they dont really speak English here. I wouldnt expect them to its an Asian market. However every time Ive needed help finding something and shown them a picture an employee has led me straight to it and been as friendly as they could with the language barrier. The seafood is AMAZING and their squid is pretty good. Gotten a lot of their thin sliced meats and produce and never been disappointed.Also, do yourself a favor and go to the bubble tea shop inside. A large bubble milk tea with coffee jelly (trust me the combo is great) is $5.75 and theyre super nice and ready quickly and they dont skimp on boba or the other toppings.I love just walking around. You can smell the seafood department but they have open air whole fish displays so its to be expected. Its all clean and fresh youll catch them cleaning things throughout the day. Whole fish just smells fishy obviously.

Wow, first time in here. My husband always comes here to get his oysters. I cant wait to come back, I have my eyes on some snacks and Asian wine too.

On August 22, we bought their Oyster 5doz for $60. Grilled 5, open it whatta meat is 1/3, we hope thats just a few? Turns out all of it are like that. We check the Harvest Date August 6. Whatta fudge, imagine your on diet for 16days!!!! I came all the way from Hayward, recommended their store to my friends to buy oysters there!!! Watch out.... WHEN YOU BUY CHECK THE DATES!!!

My husband and I went to the seafood section to get crab. The the person cutting the fish looked at my husband then me for a good second. My husband is black. We stood there 30 min waiting for out turn. He kept skipping over us. Horrible service and he kept looking at me. We left. Made us feel like we were being discriminated

This place has everything. Good prices, Massive selection! They serve food in the food court, and just inside the entrance there is an amazing tea store area.

I come here since it is close to Tastea (fruit tea boba place). Store is usually clean. Parking is easy. Sacramento can get hot during the summer so I prefer to go to the bay for grocery shopping. Good price for seafood, fruits, vegetables, and meat. Good to have taiwanese food nearby.

Edit:After months, this store provides good service. That is why stars come back. They have a huge supply of Asian products, perhaps the largest in Sacramento. If you are looking for something authentic from the far east, you will probably find it here.They also have a huge prepared food section. The lines can be long for that part, but the food is decent. Be prepared to wait on weekends, though...lots of people go for the hot food.

I came here on a whim and ended up spending $80 sheesh! I stocked up on my essential Asian ingredients such as sauces and Little Lamb hot pot mix. As a bonus, they have my favorite Irvins salted egg potato chips!

Typical Asian supermarket. Has a lot of varieties to choose from even if you are only looking for instant noodles. The fresh veggies are good and reasonably priced.They have the normal food like Spam as well. There is a bakery and also a hot food section. You can have a seat and enjoy the hot food or bakery onsite.

Nice Chinese super market, offers a wide variety of fresh fishes to choose from and many other Asian groceries ! For every $10 you spend they give you $1 coupon . They have restaurant inside and a bakery that sells a lot of good stuff !

Only place we know of in Sacramento with the Brown Sugar Boba Ice Cream Bar (limit one per customer). Just bring your whole family and pets and have each one of them buy one. Hand your 3 year old, your pet dog, your hamster, your grandma a 10 each and have them wait inline. Then stash your cache in your car, change your outfit, put on some shades and a hat, and come back in for another round.

Fish seafood department staff are horrible! They skipped over several people of color even though their numbers were called.

Incorrect price tag. Caught couple times incorrect price.Guess what when you mentioned the price is wrong? They remove on sale tag from items before refund money to customer.

I want there to be a chinese & hmong &other asain movie store booth here very bad!!! Prices are so terrible they expired and employees has to throw it away or put on clearance. Vitasoy juice needs to be 1.99 sale. There needs to be 2for1$ items food beauty snacks juices spices fruits ! No gochugaru pepper flakes! Chili oil needs to be low as 99cent! Large Asian supermarket with plenty of vegetables and meats. The vegetable prices have gone up recently so some may be cheaper at SF market but they are still very fresh and packed nicely. Their meats are pretty fresh but I still like to buy red meat and chicken from an American grocery store due to the processing standards of Foster Farms and USDA. Large selection of Asian snacks and hot food. Dim sum is reasonably priced and fresh in the morning. Frozen food prices like fish balls and baos have also went up.

Lots of Taiwanese food products here. Youll love their instant Ramen selection. So many to choose from. Also, the hot food is great. Portions are generous. My faves are the Dim Sum items: Pork dumplings, deep fried shrimp balls, pork riblets, sticky rice and pot stickers. Pricing is reasonable. Cashiers are friendly and (gasp) English speaking. You wont feel out of place like some other oriental grocery outlets. Finally, the store is well organized and clean.

Clean and well stocked. We went in here to to pickup our ingredients for a Thai food night. We found everything we needed and then some. The quality of the produce was top notch and the meat department had everything we were looking for. The only problem we came across was asking where certain things might be. Due to language differences I dont think my question was understood and we were told they didnt carry this particular item. We later found it while exploring the store. Overall a good experience.

A great big box grocery store for asian food. It has everything you are looking for and has most popular brands. The hot food counter is great as well! We get the red bean filled sesame balls and pork and shrimp shumai.

As I only come in to shop every 2 weeks now to stay at home as much as I can, of course I make sure to the usual groceries, fresh vegetables, fruit, chicken, and other produce necessities. Other than those though Ive been stocking up on tea (in a glass jar) from korea. It has a jam-like consistency and I just need to add hot water. Trying to mix it up as well to by adding as a filling when baking canned croissants.

The environment here is very clean, the food is fresh, and everything is complete

So well stocked, i could spend hours here. Bring a bag, CA and the anti-shopping bag thing. You can also get herbal remedies here. Great bakery, big selection of noodles. In store deli has lots of hot food, duck, curries, bao, etc. Produce, fresh meat and fish always look and ultimately taste good.

This 99 ranch is super spacious, organized and clean. Since this is an asian-focused market, I can usually always find anything whatever unique asian food items I’m looking for. It is basically like I am living in Asia! I have been craving more sweets recently and I have enjoyed trying their different flavors of hello panda and pocky. I love their matcha hello panda and their cookies & cream pocky!

This asian grocery store is my favourite place to shop for asian veggies n fresh meats. Theres a bakery located inside that carries the scrumptious cakes you can buy that are not overly sweet. Theres the hot food section too but Im not sure if that is open with the pandemic we have. Its clean, fruits n veggies are fresh. Give this place a try if you have not been here.For the poultry section, if you need the butcher to ground your meat, you have to request before 6pm because at 6pm staff starts cleaning the equipments for the night.

So many mushrooms to get here! It is mushroom heaven for me and such great prices. So much cheaper compared to the city. Parking can be a bit difficult but what place doesnt have that issue anymore. It is never that big of a hassle though. And I always for sure treat myself to a egg tart on my way out. Cant resist!

It smells and its dirty and when you ask someone to help you they act like they dont know what youre talking about or they act like they dont understand what youre saying.
