I bought my first sound system from Jim Potts at Paradyme many years ago. What he guided me to purchase has been excellent. I have been very happy. Now, as I needed to upgrade my theater I went back to Paradyme and was very pleased to again work with Jim. The Sony AV receiver and projector (also Sony) are tremendous. The sound quality and HD picture is better than most movie theaters.100 stars to Paradyme and to Jim. I will be back for an integrated amp soon.
I’m so grateful to have a local shop I can walk into and lust after some awesome gear. Just bought a NAD pre-amp and amp combo and couldn’t be happier. Sales staff wasn’t pushy or crowding at all, in fact they greeted me and left me alone, letting me browse. Just how I like it. Will be back for a set of Cornwalls soon.
Paradyme is the authorized service center for McIntosh. Michael is a super nice fellow and repaired my McIntosh integrated amp to better than new. They are backlogged in their work because they are the only ones willing to service McIntosh, which is a difficult task.
PHENOMENAL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!Over the past few years, I have brought speakers, a guitar amp, and a high in Sub-woofer in for repair. Every time the cost for service has been reasonable and the quality of workmanship has been exceptional. Do not waste your time shopping around town for a BETTER price or service. Paradyme is the BEST
We had a beautiful new cabinet built for our media equipment and the inside got so hot, we could fry an egg inside. We needed a cooling solution for the cabinet and we didn’t want the cooling fans or venting to be visible. I contacted Darryl at Paradyme Sound & Vision and he said they could put a solution together for us. We sent a few emails back and forth discussing options and then scheduled the installation. Dean, the installation pro that came to our house, was amazing. There is so much gear and cabling in our cabinet, I don’t dare mess with it. Dean had all the equipment disconnected and out of the cabinet in a few minutes, and he knew what each wire was connected to, and how to put the entire system back together again. Over the course of a few hours, he installed a couple very quiet exhaust fans that vent through the wall behind the cabinet. He meticulously reassembled the entire system and we couldn’t be happier. Paradyme Sound & Vision provided us with a custom, tailored solution we never could have received at a big box store. They are local, responsive, and provide excellent service, support, and products. We look forward to working with Paradyme Sound & Vision again for all of our audio and video needs. Many thanks to Darryl and Dean!
I brought my Sony 3000 ES in for repair. This was and probably still is a Sony certified repair shop. I unfortunately decided to connect speaker wires when receiver on. Anyway, it quit working. I brought it in, and paid $115 for the repair. It works like new. I would use them again.
You need to check out Paradyme if you are in the market for home or car audio. Have been using Paradyme for 20 years. Car audio when I was younger, and home audio now. Purchased a subwoofer from them that I had to return(my fault, not theirs). They were courteous and professional with both transactions. Will be buying more from them as I complete my system since I try to support local businesses. I might even end up buying the JL sub they had on that blew me away as I was leaving. Incredible sound!
Great place for audiophiles to go see and hear incredible pieces of audio equipment
I have been a Paradyme customer for over 27 years. Ive dealt with every facet of their company (Car Audio, Home Audio/Video, Commercial Audio/Video, electronics repair) and worked with literally dozens of their employees and ownership staff over the years. Needless to say, its time to offer a review.Simply stated, there is nobody better in Northern California for your mobile or home audio/video needs than Paradyme. They have more cumulative experience and institutional knowledge about the audio/video industry than anybody in the region. Some of their staff (Terry Soohoo comes to mind) have even traveled internationally to train other installers. With regards to the car audio side, their install team have pride in their work and do outstanding installs. Not only have they installed systems in several of my cars, Ive also seen systems they have done in exotic cars (Lamborghini Gallardo comes to mind) and have had several installs profiled in car audio electronics magazines. They are also the go-to shop in the area for fixing poor installs from DIY-ers or low-quality audio shops. On the home and commercial audio/video side, their staff is incredibly knowledgeable. They do everything from six-figure home theater installations to a simple great sounding 2-speaker stereo system, and everything in between. If you have a business and need AV equipment for your facility, they do great work (seen it first hand). I still call the commercial side from time-to-time if I have a question on installing automated AV equipment. In summary, there are some things in life that are your go-to items. A favorite car, favorite restaurant, favorite vacation spot. Paradyme has always been on my short list of go-to places for me, and I suspect will be for many years to come.
Super helpful sales people who actually know their stuff!
