D&J Kitchens and Baths were an amazing pleasure to work with! From the first meeting with Darius the owner and Nicole the designer, we knew we wanted to have them do our kitchen and bathroom remodel. The remodel involved knocking down walls and other extensive work. Their bid was not the cheapest, but I would not hesitate to use them again – it was worth it. Both Darius and Nicole spent countless hours with us, working out the details of the design, before we even paid them a dime. Once work started, we bonded with the work crew (mostly D&J employees) so much that, when the project was completed, we were bereft that these guys wouldn’t be coming to our house every day anymore. The project took approximately 4 months.D&J met all their deadlines and budget and kept us informed along the way every week. We made two change orders which were handled professionally by Erin. Erin also handled all of the complex purchasing and provided expert advice on many aspects of the project. All of the employees were professional and went out of their way to be helpful with explanations and detail work. Near the end of the project, one error that could have been disastrous was handed with such dexterity that I hesitate to mention it. I do, because as the discussion about fixing the error began, Darius told us to make the right decision for ourselves, and that D&J was responsible for any additional cost that would be required. Within minutes, a solution was decided upon and set in motion. That integrity is what we paid for with a slightly higher cost than the other four companies we originally considered.

I contacted this company for a bid on my bathroom and before I provided any details of the project the lady on the phone asked what kind if budget I had for said project. She then informed me that if I wasnt prepared to spend at least 20k I should look elsewhere. The bathroom were talking about is 57 square feet, thats $350 per square foot, new construction in Sacramento doesnt even go for that price. It must be nice to have so many customers who are willing to pay these prices and be so busy that you can turn away business.
