These guys did an amazing job. I bought a 2004 Subaru Forester XT from them, was in great shape, ran perfect, couldn’t ask for more. Ross really helped us out since we were flying in from Utah to pick it up he had new tires put on it just to make sure we made the drive home safe. I was sold a 2005 Subaru Forester from Hoffman and was told it had a new head gasket and timing belt that they put on it. Which is a huge reason to buy because most Subaru’s have this issue and it costs thousands to fix. I just had a mechanic point out to me that it is actually stock in it and that I should sell the car soon if I don’t want to have to pay for the repair. I feel like I was storied to when I purchased my car. It was also in a pretty bad rear end accident that we didn’t know about until after the fact (Trunk cover doesn’t fit showing that the back of the car has been shifted) would not recommend .

Dont trust these guys they will scam you. Top dollar for vehicles and they fixed it up just enough to break and leave us stranded with a total loss. Spend your money else where. We only had it 2 years and over 3.5k to keep it running that long. Turbo blew almost immediately then the engine. Swindlers at best.

Went and looked at a truck that was advertised as one owner no accidents or dents. Arrived the front driver Fender was tearing the paint was mismatched colors and the Body Lines never lined up making it obvious the vehicle was in an accident. Vehicle had a flat tire and broken tail gate. The bed liner was recently sprayed and had over spray on the tail lights. Had small broken interior pieces. Definitely not what was advertised.

I was helped by Ross on 9/11/16. In my view he did an excellent job of explaining everything to me in detail. Experience overall was good. There was a small chip on the windshield and he offered to get it filled for me. So far in very happy with our purchase. We ended up purchasing a 03 Honda Pilot. Thanks Ross

My boyfriend traded his car in on a truck recently and literally a day after he got it the transmission started acting up. We thought we were going to be head over heels in this truck as we bought it as-is, but when we called Hoffman to let them know they told us they would take care of it. Long story short, they covered all the expenses of the truck being in different shops for 3 months and eventually paid half on a remanufactured motor. We were only out $4K for that whole time... THATS UNHEARD OF! Ross told us he wanted to make it right and he definitely did. He went above and beyond to make sure we got an amazing deal on this truck and to make sure that we were fully satisfied in our purchase. These are stand up folks with stand up care and we couldnt be more impressed with their quality of service and character. If youre looking for a new vehicle, you WILL NOT find a more stand-up group than Hoffman Auto Group.

I bought a 2011 Ford Escape from Hoffman Auto Group after seeing it listed on Cargurus. The car had the lowest mileage and was priced the best for any 2011 Ford Escape in the area.Ross was great. Long wait of 3 hrs for oil change with appointment. Then the spare wheel cover wasnt put back on my wheel. I had to call dealership, wait 5 days for a call back, then drive back to dealership to pickup wheel cover. Service Department should have had someone drive this to my house and put it on my car.

Dont buy at this place, they offered a car at craiglist, I drived the car it was having an issue on the bearings, told them about the problem they fixed next day, but it turns out they had a different price next day, and they did not honored the price offered the day I drove the car.Bad service people do not deal with this dealer.And after all they did not even said sorry or apologize.And they dot really check the cars, cars here are not always safe to drive with this dealer.....

BUYER BEWARE! THIS COMPANY COMMITS FRAUD! I bought a Dodge Ram from this company about a month ago and found out that it has significant frame damage. They are claiming to know nothing about it and will not fix the vehicle, even the warranty i purchased suggested by the dealer will not fix the vehicle. Ross was very friendly and helpful but now when i talk him he is rude and always makes an excuse to get off the phone. They are very a conniving and deceiving company. The truck looked great but a month after I bought the vehicle I had to take the spare tire off and thats when I found out that the frame is literally falling apart day by day. The left rear shock is also falling apart due to the frame damage. The frame can literally be broken off with your fingers and it is now going to cost me 3,000 to 5,000 to fix it after i already spent 13,000 on the vehicle itself. The vehicle was advertised as an off-road ready vehicle which it clearly is not considering some of the frame breaks off every time it hits gravel and i clearly cannot take it off road. They also falsely advertised the vehicle when it was sold. They claimed it had heated seats and leather interior which it did not. When i bought the truck i gave them the benefit of doubt, thinking maybe they accidentally had falsely advertised this vehicle. I was obviously wrong and am now wishing i had not paid for this vehicle. So i highly recommend you trust your instincts when you walk into this used car lot and think to yourself, wow this looks like it could be a sleazy company because thats exactly what it is. So for any people that find themselves interested in a vehicle at this dealership i would highly recommend going elsewhere. If i could leave 0 stars i would.

Worst vehicle purchasing experience ever. Ross was very rude to us over the phone and to our Credit Union bank rep. after we signed paperwork for the purchase. In person he was nice. They do not participate in the CUDL program!!! I had read online that others had an issue with them regarding the vehicle registration and I had the same issue. Will never shop there again.

I originally purchased a 2007 Ford Expedition from Hoffman Auto Group in November 2015. I had to immediately get gas as the fuel light came on as I was driving home. Once I got gas the car would not start again. Ugh! Luckily I got a jump and it seemed it was just needing a battery. Now the truck is basically dead, with less than 2800 miles put on the vehicle, and needing a repair that will cost thousands and I have already spent over $1100. When I originally bought the vehicle I asked for a warranty but was told that Westlake Financial does not finance warranties and I would need to pay cash for the warranty. Obviously after putting $3k down I did not have cash for a warranty. In light of the mechanical issue I called Westlake to find out if what I was told was true and was informed it absolutely was not true! In addition I had previously asked for the vehicle inspection report that they said they had when they checked out the vehicle. I was told they archived the files and they would call me when they got the file backing the office. I never heard back from them. As of this post, I have been told that management will call me sometime Monday but right now they are not offering any sort of resolution. Buyer beware!! I feel that I was totally mislead by this company and that they misrepresented the finance company. I will update Monday as this progresses.

Literally the worst car buying experience ever. DO NOT BUY CARS HERE. These guys are a scam!!!!! I can’t even get my car registered now because they don’t know how to do paper work and just jerk me around left and right. COMPLETE SCAM! DO NOT BUY CARS HERE! When I bought my car, it had a broken part on it. The dealer promised to order and replace the part. I called for weeks, they never ordered or replaced the part. Then I went to register the car at DMV, only to be told I cannot register the car because the dealership didn’t do the paper work for it. I gathered all the paperwork necessary and took it to the dealership and asked them to do their part so I can pay my registration. They still haven’t done it. My car has expired registration, isn’t legal to drive, and this dealership is jerking me around and not getting my DMV paperwork done so I can’t ecen drive the car. I’ve bought 15+ cars from numerous dealerships in my lifetime. This is by far the worst dealership and sales people I have ever dealt with in my life.

I just bought a minivan from Hoffman Auto Group, which is conveniently located in Sacramento off Business Route 80 and the Auburn/Marconi Exit. I am enthusiastically pleased with my experience as a whole, to say the least. Im still in the honeymoon phase with my new-to-me vehicle, but my time spent shopping there was a positive one and Im confident I made a good choice.George was the perfect help in my car buying experience. He is informative, honest, thorough and committed to quality product and customer service. Hes more a family man than a sales man, and throughout the whole process, was patient with my loud 1 and 5 year olds. At one point, he even told me to hang up with the insurance company and go ahead and take care of the baby...he could wait. Mind you, this was after-hours and he still made the time. Anyway... I am a self employed first time buyer with barely any credit history, and proof of only a portion of my income. George spent his entire day, while I was working at home, making sure I got the price and payment I wanted. He worked diligently to get my interest rate down from 21+% to 14.5%!!! He also called the bank back and made sure they financed me for the 3rd party warranty, which is essential to have when buying any used vehicle from anywhere. George also gave me tips on how to strengthen my credit and refinance after 6 months to make my interest rate lower.The minivan I got is an 05 Toyota Sienna with low miles, lengthy carfax to show the one previous owners meticulous maintenence, and it is clean and runs very nicely. There were a few cosmetic issues with the interior that I noticed upon my personal preference purchase inspection. One was adressed on the spot and the other repair is pending an order shipment. I trust their word is good, and plan to return next week for a quick fix (dont worry guys, well keep my kids strapped in their car seats haha). My only bummer l surprise so far is that the DVD player ended up not working after being told it did. But, it wasnt their vehicle, so i doubt they had reason to pop in a mickey mouse dvd to check it out. To their credit, it did seem like it would work. Woops! If you buy from this lot, dont expect your car to last long. They advised me not to get the extended warranty. A few months later I need a couple thousand in repairs, but was told they could only help me if I had bought the warranty. They are dishonest. I highly dont recommend this car lot!

I had a very disappointing visit to this dealership. i had previously contacted them on the phone for a jeep for sale and the next day i drove an hour and 45 minutes to the dealership and looked over the jeep. i started it and noticed a horrible lifter or valve tick coming from the engine. i then proceeded to get in the car and take it for a test drive then noticed over an inch of standing water in the passenger side floor pan. the salesman could’ve cared less when i told him of the water and other interior problems. after driving it i realized the transmission was weak and not shifting well and the engine was extremely underpowered. I hope that this experience can save somebody from making a bad decision in purchasing a car from Hoffman auto group. the jeep i had looked at was a grey 2013 jeep wrangler with 55,000 miles listed for nearly $30,000!!!
