Do not recommendIf you would like to pay more than other installers, take 2.5 weeks to complete when realistically it could be done in three, be on-call at home with the worker(s) for their 10-12hrs shifts then SIMAS is for you. Honestly, I can only hope our situation was an anomaly as their installers were true craftsman and some of the hardest workers we’ve seen in the past two months as my wife and I completed a live in remodel. SIMAS project planning and scheduling is were it truly fell short.Project Planning – Didn’t order enough material and therefore had to wait 2.5 weeks to finish our stairs, and misc trim pieces.Scheduling – Day 1 (Wed) and army of workers. Completely demo’d downstairs with tearing up tile, resurfacing, and installed flooring. No baseboards. Full day, and impressed with the tempo 0800-1900. Broke the toilet water connection downstairs, after they finished the floors around there it remained inoperable for nearly a week until I fixed it myself as the workers would be using our personal bathrooms.Day 2 – One guy, very talented and would have finished the stairs and most delicate trim pieces but ran out of material. 0800-1930Day 3 – Two guys for the entire upstairs 0800-1900. No base boards yet.Went into the weekend with furniture still away from the walls for baseboards. Was told Sunday, but cancelled same day at 1000. It was Valentine’s Day weekend and we cancelled plans to stay home. (Very Poor planning and customer consideration)Monday – One guy 0800-2000 to do base boards all day, no break. Impressive but an inconvenience for those that likes to remain home with a worker in their home. Ran out of materials couldn’t complete.Materials were en-route to arrive on Friday; if they don’t arrive SIMAS will notify you so you can at least go to work. No call came Thursday, also no worker showed on Friday when they said materials were to arrive. At 9am on Monday, still no call or show for workers. After a heated phone exchange that morning, they dispatched their top guy to finish up the baseboards, and returned later that week when the product finally arrived. Lastly, at the end of the project we were supposed to have 2 boxes of flooring. After several searches they finally believed us that we didn’t have any left. Overall it took 2.5 weeks (Feb 10-March 1st), and after going through 2 months of remodeling this 2.5wks didn’t help.The floors look fantastic with the exception of one defect that wasn’t caught earlier. Luckily SIMAS stands by their product and install, which is why we went to them in the first place. Their workers, product, and warranty are top notch but the above issues are the main reason why I can’t recommend them.

David Highfill, the estimator, was very professional and he knew the flooring business. Everything was done via lap top. I was impressed. The installers completed my two bathrooms with tile in one day. They did a great job and I was really happy with the outcome. I will recommend Simas Floor Company to my friends.

I had Simas install and stain oak floors throughout my house. Everyone I dealt with--from the saleman through the office staff--was great. And the installer Alex did a really beautiful job and clearly takes pride in his work. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Simas Flooring for flooring projects.David, the estimator, made accurate measurements of the materials needed so there was not an excessive amount of leftovers which would have jack up the cost.The installers, Ishmel and Phil, were very professional, they wore face masks, and cleaned up after installation removing all the trash.Im very pleased with the my selected flooring and I will contact them for future projects.

No frills, family business with large showroom and very helpful staff. They got started years ago doing hardwood floors which they still do. Now they include laminates, vinyl and faux stone tile. They work with a cadre of installers so you get your floor upgraded at a great price.

David H. was so helpful. He went above and beyond to help me find a floor I would like. Desiree was efficient and helpful with scheduling. Andrey and his crew executed a perfect installation. They installed everything perfectly and were tidy and efficient! I will definitely return to Simas and Co. for my flooring needs.

Flooring place w/will call in the back. Make sure you have your paperwork before you pick up your materials. Accidentally took the front desk ladys pen. Dont feel any guilt though. Just spent enough there. The glue cost was $1125.00!!

David from Simas is pretty great as a consultant. When it came to selection installation of our wood floors a few years ago everything went well.This time around we needed carpet on our stairs replaced due to someone spilling bleach on a few spots. David was great at making recommendations for a solution that would work and wouldn’t require replacing all of our carpet which was mostly in great shape.His communication was fantastic.Challenges came the day of service. We had a window of arrival for 8am-10am. My husband was at home that day and called at 5 after 10 to say no one had arrived. I called the scheduler who immediately reached out to the installer. She called me back to inform me that he had been assigned another job for the morning by his supervisor and no o e had informed her. He said he could make it to our place by noon.Luckily, my husband was able to rearrange meetings so that we could still get the install done that day.However, this was inconvenient and required us to have to adapt to what we’d been told would be our window for time based on miscommunication by Simas.The install occurred and looks like good quality thus far. However, I didn’t give a 5 because we were pretty disappointed by the issue with not arriving on time and want to make sure they fix any scheduling/communication issues they have internally.

I wondered into their showroom on a Saturday and was greeted by a friendly and helpful staff. Thomas came out to our home with samples and we placed an order. Needless to say, soon we were enjoying a beautiful new floor. Thank you Simas for an easy and enjoyable buying experience.

David is very personable and experienced in his field. Simas provided a free estimate, had samples delivered to my house and installed my carpet in a timely manner. The whole process was easy.

It was a delight working with Simas Floor Co for the re-carpeting of our Physical Therapy Office in Citrus Heights. Befor you let them to repair your carpet, you HAVE TO ask if that under warranty coverage and need to pay OR NOT ! Because they never tell you that before repaired, after repaired they will give you expensive than market invoice. Even two inches split will cost 130 dollars. And very impatient to explain to you!Think carefully when you want to buy or repair。I swear what I said happened to me.

We had Simas install Homerwood hickory hardwood floors in the living and dining areas of our home.Thomas I. was our first contact and sales estimator. Thomas came out promptly to our home and provided a competitive bid for the installation. He was always available to answer questions and address our concerns before, during, and after the job was completed.Keith S. was our installer. He worked very carefully during the installation. He was very experienced in working in and around multiple areas in brick, tile, and existing wood surfaces and providing a perfect match to each area.We are very satisfied by the completed work, the level of service provided by Thomas, and the craftsmanship involved in the completed work. The floors are beautiful.

Christian was super helpful when it was time to change out floors in my salon. He worked with us to get the look we were after and explained to us what floors would work best with our application. Didnt know there were so many floor choices. I cant tell you how many compliments we have gotten. Simply changing out the floors totally transforms any space. Dont get taken like I did by Simas. I paid $12,000 for high end carpet and was told that it was pet stain resistant. When it did not clean up following a professional clean, Simas will not honor my claim. Run...dont walk.

Hillary was very helpful in designing the options for our new home. She had a good design sense and worked with us without rushing. My only complaint is that I wish they had later appointments.

I first started working with Thomas almost two years ago, and I finally was able to get the hardwood flooring this year. A big shout out to Thomas who hung in there with me. I know that I can be picky andpesty, but he was always encouraging and accommodated me when I changed my mind. Kudos to employees of Simas. The installers were great, neat, and professional. I am very disappointed with the treatment we got from Simas floors. We have used this company to do our flooring needs for an apartment complex. They came out and did a floor in our bathroom and when they left they didnt reinstall the toilet. When we called to ask them if they could reinstall the toilet like they have all the other times they did floors they told us it would cost an extra hundred dollars. Why all of a sudden is there an extra hundred dollar charge for something they did for free in the past. And the job they did was substandard. Cove base they put on the tub looks horrible and there was also glue left behind on the tub. Never had problems with these guys before maybe theres a slide downhill in their customer service. Very bad service
