I love this place! The aura is beautiful and so are the employees! I always come to the store because I know they will always have something that will spiritually align me. 😊 This is one of my favorite places!

So I went into this shop with some decent or mediocre expectations. I thought MAYBE I’ll find a bracelet I like. Going in my first time I spent $80 on a couple of books and three necklaces. Waking in I found immediately more then I anticipated, I was overwhelmed by how much I wanted and was intrigued by. The crystals are illuminating with quality, shine, and sparkle. I would recommend going in with a budget in mind already of what you feel comfortable spending otherwise you will just blow your money

One of my very favorite places in Old Towne Sacramento. They have way too much cool stuff!

This is one of my favorite places to visit in old Sac. Its a metaphysical store close to me. Most of them are quite a drive away. They more times than not have exactly what Im looking for ranging from clothes, incense, books, jewelry, and more.

Ms. Lisa was so nice and helpful, she and the other staff helped me find what I was looking for. I called around everywhere looking for a store that carried certain unique items. This store is awesome the workers were so nice and knowledgeable and I didn’t feel judged for my Wiccan beliefs. They have something for everyone. I was so happy with my purchases and that I was able to find blue Dalmatian jasper I have looked everywhere for those.

Cool stuff. Bit tiny and not much space to get in between each other. But still cool. Got a few things to try out. Burned one of the cone incense and it smells pretty good. U put it on a plate that comes with this statue and the smokes come out from the statue. So yes, cool stuff.

This is my favorite shop for all things esoterica.The staff is kind, thoughtful, and helpful.All that you would expect from spiritual people.

Literally spent half an hour here. The cashier was so nice. I was nine cents of and she paid it out of her pocket. They were playing relaxing music.

They treated me like I was stealing she literally asked if I had anything else and she overcharged me and asked if I wanted to put something back. I like the store but it’s like that for me almost every time I go, and I’ve never been rude or tried to steal I was so indignant at the whole thing I paid the over charge and like usual will only be back when I really want something.

This place is charming. Not too many places like this in the area, and the owners must know it because BOY is it expensive. Its packed to the brim with books, stones, candles, tapestries, marbles, gemstones, crystals, jewelry, souvenir type items, rain sticks, fairy gardens, wind chimes, tarot cards, crystal balls, incense, ohm bowls, scented soaps, lotions, sage, kaleidoscopes, everything kitschy and witchy. Its a spectacle for sure. It is a little TOO full, some areas are difficult to negotiate turns while still leaving enough distance between customers. There was a reduced capacity imposed but they get customers in and out pretty quickly. I didnt find anything I wanted, but they had interesting stuff. My friend took her time finding a tapestry she liked and settled on one with a picture of a tree of life, however once we got it home she realized the photo was not the same as the tapestry within the packaging (mislabeled) but shes happy with it anyway.

Don’t get me wrong I love this place, I love the vibe and I love the selection. My only issue is related to white sage. I would welcome feedback from the store as to where they are supplied from hopefully a native seller. White sage is on the verge of becoming endangered due to over harvesting. This is one of the First Nations medicines and one which until recently they were not allowed to use. There are many varieties of sage not just white. The only other thing is I overheard an employee telling someone it would cleanse both their tarot deck and their house, with no mention that it would wipe out all energies both positive and negative. I love this place I really do and I would definitely recommend people stopping by.

Was followed by a store associate due to prejudice. I had to show my friend I was putting stuff in a shopping basket and not doing anything suspicious. Claims to be “spiritual” but then makes prejudiced judgments on people who dont look a certain way. Following this incident, I went to check out and the lady who was previously following me everywhere told the cashier about me looking suspicious and gossiping about me. Even though all I had was one of those hippie cloth bags that was gifted to me by my father. So if you have one of those bags beware, they somehow think your there to steal even though its the only purse I own to put a water bottle in it while walking downtown. Continuing this, I went up to buy my items. The cashier rudely told me to count my incense sticks because I didnt know how much I put in. Then when I told her I had a bunch of 5s and 1s to pay for it she had a really rude expression, so I paid with my card to avoid the hassle. Like its my fault my fiance makes cash tips as a waiter. However, she was somehow angered by us she had someone else check out my friend.Its crazy how they sell spiritual items and are prominent in the community but then view people a certain way and treat with them disrespect and prejudice. I was nothing but nice to them and speaking kindly to them because I felt their energy being so standoffish. So I didnt know why they went above and beyond to make me feel uncomfortable because of their own prejudice judgment. Talk about some of the workers being stuck in their own ego traps. Yet, I do want to say Thank you to the girl who checked us out after the cashier and her rude associate didnt want to help us. You were so sweet to us and probably the only reason I have hope to come here again because you showed genuine kindness and understanding.I usually dont do reviews because I understand how it is. But Ive never been made this uncomfortable just because of the way I looked for one day in downtown. To feel like some petty thief over what? Its disheartening. This is my second time I went here and all because I had a a hippie cloth bag, I was treated like scum. But when I came here for the first time in a fashionable sense it was completely different. Take about bias and prejudice towards customers. If this was a high end store I would completely understand but this is suppose to be a spiritual stores that supplies craft, knowledge, crystals etc, and a safe space for the community to shop at then what are you guys doing and selling these things? Talk about the hypocrisy.

I always get an immediate sense of calm when I go in there but today was especially calming and the person who helped me was amazing! I went in with the intention of getting some type of crystal to help with feeling down and she was very knowledgeable and so nice and taught me all about several different items and suggested the perfect things I needed!

Favorite store in old sac

There are very few of these stores of this type around anywhere in Sacramento. The store is highly recommended for those who are either beginners, novices, or new to the system of magic. Interestingly enough, this is probably the only store in Sacramento to offer a wide variety of products. I still am impressed to see that this is the only store still around in Sacramento, mainly because a lot of people still dont believe in the occult, or any other religion out there thats non-major. Tread lightly in the store because it is cramped and due to the amount of space its very hard to move around in so be careful of what you see around you.

Ive been going here for 10+ years. Theyre selection is Amazing and the customer service is great! Best time for locals to go is during the week because the weekends get busy and its kind of hard to walk around in such tight quarters. One of my favorite places to shop in Sacramento.

I go here often. One of my favorite shops at Old Sacramento. Its small and crammed which makes it hard to browse and shop. However, they have a large variety of incense, oils, jewelry and gift items. Staff have always been pleasant to me.

This is one of my favorite places to go to in Sacramento. They have a variety of jewels and gems and of nice books and scars its just a wonderful place and the owners fantastic couple that own the store. A great Husband and Wife team. They have a lot of interesting things. The couple were very helpful they will assit you with anything that you want is a great place to visit in Old Sacramento.

This is the coolest place ever! If you are spiritual or just curious there is something in this speciality shop for you. I purchased a book called The Goddess Pages and a candle for Problem solving, with instructions and affirmations. There are calendars, incense, books on various spiritual subjects, crystals, stones, mandalas, talisman, dream catchers, tarot cards, etc., The shop smells wonderful and the music is soothing. The aisles are a little tight as there is just so much stuff to see. But I can guarantee youll find something to purchase. It has been in that location for a long time. And, I believe its right across the street from Evangaleans, which is another super cool place. Well worth the trip to Old Sacramento.

I went in to purchase a few very tiny tiny crystals. Since their card policy is at least a $10 minimum and I didn’t have any cash, the store clerk let me have them. This was such an amazing gesture. I love this place. Even when I don’t need anything, I love going in just to look!

Cool store. Lots to look at. Really tight small areas to walk around in. Not wheelchair accessible or anyone with strollers or walkers. Kind of crowded. Still cool store though. Good gifts.

Very cool store. I was strolling through Old Sac and found this neat and colorful store and decided to check it out. Its filled with all these awesome trinkets that you can buy and lots of books in the back area as well. I really liked this shop and I stayed there for at least an hour looking at all the things they had for sale. I had bought the Rider Tarot Deck there for like $26. Overall Garden of Enchantment is a very unique store.

I love this place so much!!! Any shop like this should be welcoming, and the person who runs this is really nice and friendly and I really like them! The whole place is packed tight with unique things, its a beautiful place! Theres things on the ceiling, walls, shelves to look at and I feel right at home here!

Just bought some abalone shell earings from there. They are so freaking nice there! My favorite place to go and dream and see Ll the pretties! It does get crowded in there not much room but thats why I go without the baby! Lol.

One of my favorite shops in all of Sacramento. They always have the candles and incense I need and they also have amazing jewlery, clothing and books. Their book selection is particularly incredible. I always receive incredible customer service whenever I visit. Great for gifts and special things you never knew you needed. Ive been shopping at Enchantment since I was a kid and will continue to do so for years to come.

On 12/17 2019 the female employee with short spikey hair followed me around the store staring at my hands. She even popped out from around the corner giggling nervously like a psycho. I was at GOE to dispose of negative energy, instead I left feeling like a fool for spending my hard earned money on crystals and herbs. I will not be back thanks to Spike and her outrageous lack of professionalism. The drive to Planet Earth Rising is worth it at this point. Never again.
