Great little store with high quality standards, all my faves from the bigger natural foods stores in a smaller package

Selection great except the fresh poultry meats nor packages of chicken- I’m surprised that skinless poultry is so prevalent but here I expect gourmet options and needed thighs with skin. If demand for skinless is optional then the butcher can easily remove skin, because skin on is usually desired….The butcher section had none so I will continue to monitor this as I like the store very much. Returning shopping update- I’m happy to see the selections of poultry in stock recently and I picked out a half chicken with skin for our menu plan! We buy everything here, from unique appetizers to wine, beer, baked goods.

Love shopping here! They actually cram basically a whole Raley’s in this tiny spot. Workers are always friendly, the deli area is fresh and delicious, and you can’t beat $4 pints on tap! They also have one of the best local cold beer selections anywhere in town.

For a small space, this grocery store has a lot of stuff! We mostly shop at Sprouts and Bel Air, but when we come for breakfast at Fox and Goose (a pub close by), we stop here to do our grocery shopping. They have all the organic brands youd find anywhere else. It is pricier than the average grocery store, but thats expected in midtown I guess.

The sushi is delicious! I also was able to request them made without cucumber because I am allergic.

Market 5-ONE-5 is very easily my favorite grocery store. Great food selection that battles the Sacramento Co-Op, with better prices for most goods. Employees are super helpful and friendly, and honestly seem happy to be there. The music is also usually great. 11/10, will only stop shopping here if I move out of Sacramento.

What a GREAT addition to Midtown! Clean, well run with a great selection of reasonably priced organic produce, self-serve hot food deli, fantastic staff. Bike racks right outside. If youre looking for healthy food options, this is the place. Boutique vibe, outdoor seating. Owned by Raleys, so expect Raleys prices.

I like the employees. Lots of good stuff but lacking in the selection sometimes. I used to live around here. It was a nice store to be able to walk to. I would have to drive to other stores sometimes for more advanced grocery requirements or when I wanted to get a good deal on my food. Rating three stars but more realistically I would say 3.5.

Market 5-1-5 has the best self serve deli in the area. Its even better than Safeway! Even with the COVID-19 restrictions, they will box up the delicious salads and grilled veggies for you to-go. With many vegan food options and a wide selection of kombucha this is a great spot for lunch or a quick grocery run.

My favorite midtown grocery store!! They make the best juice and Im always impressed by the inventory.

Great little market to find all of your healthy food needs as well as local produce. Its a bit pricey but youre helping small businesses which is a plus for me.

Just called twice asking to speak with someone in the meat department. Was transferred quickly and phone literally rang 20x. I call back and the annoyed cashier or customer rep spoke with an annoyed tone like WHAT do you want. If she was a little bit more courteous I would not be writing thos review. The butcher is great and always very helpful amd I left him a great review on Yelp. Whoever this lady was WAS NOT!!!! Otherwise a great store and awesome products.

Outrageous prices. I can get meat that is just as fresh, and just as good at Walmart for a small fraction of the price. I guess that this place sells to people who are trapped in this ghetto with no car and cant go anywhere else.

My first time there it was an amazing experience all around. The customer service was great. The selections of products were great. Bathroom clean.

A small but very well stocked store for specialty foods. They have a great selection of items that are harder to find like some cheeses and chocolates.There is a full deli and butcher here. It is cramped for items but what they have looks to be quality and uniqueness. It is a general store type of feel.

Came to the market for a new lunch selection but fell in love with the plants. Have bought several for my desk but ended up taking them home and planting in my garden where they are thriving.

I take my miniature poodle to the grooming at least once a month. His name is Noah. He is 7 years old. Jason is his regular groomer. He loves Jason, and is always happy when I pick him up. Make an appointment and a groomer will be assigned to you. Customer service is excellent and the employees are very helpful.

Definitely one of the more upscale place to shop for grocery..They have limited but good quality brands of snacks and food and etc..If you have specific type of diets, and your looking for specific ingredients. I recommend this spot..I came here looking for a specific salsa brand but they didnt carry it. I guess whole food market it is..The parking here is nice and roomy. Definitely not an issue for people who doesnt like looking for parking in midtown..Overall right now is feb 2021 and they let you shop inside as long as you wear a mask which is great. The employees were astronomically amazing, the store is magnificently clean everything and is in stock. This was my first time shopping here and I will continue to shop here. If youre looking for an amazing store to buy organic products this would be it.

Great little market with surprising selection! The staff is sometimes really interested in customer care and other time inconvenienced by your presence. But if you can look past that, it is a cool little market.

This place is trendy! Just remember it is expensive to eat healthy, but eating garbage is more expensive in the long run.

This market is awesome. The butcher had amazing cuts at affordable prices. Came in to get some plate ribs. Some of the best I have seen. These are from Creekstone farms. I have had these before and they are top notch. Good pricing on prime beef. I will be coming back. My only regret is that I didnt get the sausages. They look so good. Outstanding selection of craft beers a well. Im sure the wine selection is really good too but I wasnt there for that. They also carry Q Salt. Really good rub for bbq. This is a mandatory store to visit. Very courteous employees were helpful and friendly. I think Raleys ows this. Definitely a high end chain of products here.

Coworker told me about this place. Thought Id check it out and literally fell obsessed with it. Yummy food at decent prices. And super close to my job. Literally walk here every day on my lunch break.

Clean, convenient, healthy foods from packaged items, to full on meat market, the deli is absolutely the best with varoius freshly made salads and meats ready to warm up, not you ordinary deli.

This grocery store packs a punch despite its small footprint. Its by no means a budget shop, but is pretty fairly priced. Im not sure Id do a full shop here but it seems like a good place to go for semi-obscure grocery list items (I was excited to find Marmite in the spreads isle) and fresh produce.

Overall, its not terrible. I just have a couple gripes. It is very overpriced and staff seems unhappy. I know in the past, this was a management issues so Im not sure anything has changed...

Great neighborhood gourmet store

I live close by and do like shopping here for immediate needs. However most of their products are pricey compared with the same product sold at other stores.Good things to get here are from their deli section, the fresh bread, large variety of awesome beers and ice cream and premade/packaged lunches. Its pretty cool that they have prepackaged Zoccolo meals too.I dont recommend buying fish or produce here as you could find the exact same quality for far less at another location.

Love this place especially for specialty dietary options (diary free, gluten free, keto, soy free), they even sell keto bbq sauce

Expensive af, and the selection is very vegan vegetarian (people who dont eat junk food). But there is a parking lot Also some worker followed me like i was gonna steal.

I absolutely love coming here with almost no lines! Great selection of produce and I like how they carry air-chilled chicken. Much healthier than traditionally processed chicken. This place also has pasture-raised eggs if youre into that kind of alternative for your egg purchases. Staff are always so nice!

This place is the cutest little market located right in the heart of Midtown! I love that they sell Lagunitas Hop Water, as I am sober and love a delicious NA option. Also, they have the best selection of cheeses, hard-to-find international products, gourmet salsas, and vegan baked goods. Cant wait to go back and try their Ahi Tuna Steaks (from Indonesia!).

I really love this place because they have a very interesting selection of unique gourmet foods. If you like Trader Joes variety but want to skip the crowds, this is a great place to shop. Also, they have many pre-made foods that you can scoop into a to-go container and enjoy on the patio with a craft beer or glass of wine or take home.

Market 5-One-5 is a great addition to the R10 area. The only thing nearby has been liquor stores for a long time, or Safeway all the way up at 19th St. This place has good prices on a lot of the products I would buy there, and for being a fairly small store, has a wide selection. Its also open pretty late, which is nice if you dont want to stop at a bar or restaurant to eat a full meal (or just need something in your stomach BEFORE the bar :)..).

The beverage choice is awesome, but they need to sell single s alcoholic beverage....the store theme is very nice....

Love this place!! It’s got everything you need in one convenient location! And even some things you didn’t even know you needed! It’s also a great place to grab a quick healthy lunch or early dinner.

Eh. Its kind of like the sacramento co op (or Sprouts even) but the co op is way way better. Its mostly to do with the atmosphere in my opinion though. Otherwise it is exactly the kind of place you would probably expect, lots of quality things.

We need more places like this in Sac. Friendly staff. High quality products. My experience is that it has very similar stuff to Sprouts. Despite being fancy it is not horribly expensive. Just a great location to prevent food deserts in an urban area. They have a very nice food-bar that saves me a lot when I dont bring lunch from home.

Pretty good selection of yummy things. Very highly priced. ($4 for Whipping Cream, $6 for raspberries). Staff are not very kind or customer service oriented. They always look at me as a non-person. Im in there at least once a week for grocery emergencies and no one knows my name or even introduces themselves. Most of the time they dont even look at me. I figure Im not their demographic. Or, at least, thats my story and Im sticking to it. lol

I often eat lunch here. The hot food bar changes frequently and is pretty tasty, although I often end up taking more than I really intended to. They have an ordering kiosk for deli sandwiches that would really well, ensuring that you get the exact sandwich the way you want it.

Nice selection for a small health food store.

Staff was nice but the store was way too pretentious for the neighborhood. Ive lived here 40 years. We want corner stores and convenient shopping. Although I love specialty stores like Co-op Nugget and Sprouts, this store does not belong to the economy of Richmond Hrive. It attracts all these millenial Karens and Trevors. This neighborhoods legacy is working class Chinese, Japanese and Mexican. There is no room for preppie Karens and Trevors from El Dorado Hills teying to live their Best Life in humble Richmond Grove.

I thought this place would be really bougie but was pleasantly surprised when I stopped in. Its a lot like a small, compact Whole Foods but somehow doesnt feel like its lacking in space at all. The items I purchased were much cheaper than they are at the Co-op which I wasnt expecting at all. Its pretty much perfect for the neighborhood. Ill definitely be frequenting Market 5-One-5.

Great to see this place open up in the historic district of R street. The mission is for organic and local produce. So you can find special and different things there. Also sit outside and have a cup of coffee and enjoy the calm surrounding of the area.

Great small local grocery store with an amazing eclectic amount of beers.

Refused to let a crying woman use the restroom.My wife was in great pain from the need to use the restroom. She had been to a coffee shop who refused her plea and directed her to a nearby public restroom 4 blocks away. That public restroom was closed so she turned to this grocery store. Despite her crying and in great need, this store showed no empathy and fearfully chose silly COVID standards over allowing her to use the restroom. She’s from out of town, it’s 90 degrees out, she’s crying, and all this store saw was a pathetic COVID policy instead of an obvious woman in need. Please exercise empathy and common sense to see the actual needs of people rather than a rigid legalism that can’t see individuals. You don’t need to let everyone use the bathroom, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make an exception to someone who’s clearly in need.

When I come here its to eat lunch with me mom. I love customizing my sandwiches, and I love the cookies a lot. All of the food is delicious. This store is pretty much a mini Whole Foods.

Joe the fish monger is the best most knowledgeable fish person Ive known. They have great meat and great fish. I only order fish when Im there the best fish I find in town and service is wonderful. This place is top notch I would recommend this store to anyone who wants groceries that are looking to get the best

My favorite market in my area! So many healthy options and everything is fresh and available. Their pre-packaged home made food is delicious and very unique. Always something new to try when i go in.its never crowded and I love that! Very helpful and friendly staff. Great location and a big parking lot!

If you consider going to a health food store like Whole Foods, consider going here instead! Its a nice grocery store with fresh produce and organic / diet conscious products. Baked goods are sourced from the Grateful Bread.

It was my first stop in, I wanted a really good sandwich. It was not very crowded when I went in and ordered the prosciutto on a baguette. I got my sandwich in a reasonable amount of time and paid and went back to my office. I unwrapped that beautiful thing and was very pleased by the quality of the ingredients and combination of flavors.

Small store, but competitive pricing with Sacramento Food Co-op. Good variety of organic goods. Lots of fresh vegetables and a great meat market. Love the atmosphere, friendly and helpful personnel. Great deli with patio dining. You can order beer or wine with your meal. The store appears to be popular with people in the neighborhood; however, a spacious parking lot accommodates those of us who come from out of the area.As I mentioned at the beginning, it is a small store and I am sure there are some people who might not find exactly what they want, but for most of your daily needs this store has it all.

What an Oasis of a market on a sleepy and hot Sunday evening. Its all youd expect of a Whole Foods without the busy drama and prices. The selection was top notch but decent prices. The staff was helpful, attentive and just kind. Id love to have a market like this near me in Brooklyn!

Super nice little market. Business has been great since they opened, and I come here all the time as I work nearby and lunch options are limited in the immediate area. The staff is friendly and their deli sandwiches are really good. It is more of a specialty and health food place so it would be a little pricey to do my main grocery shopping there but it is a great spot to pick up lunch and they have a lot of options.
