They accept food stamp if you have the hot food program. Hot Chinese food for food stamps! Thats amazing. And it seems mainly homemade. It could be a little cheaper maybe there are specials they offer. Again portions are small And expensive but what an amazing place. Homemade Chinese food in a fast food setting. and can pay with food stalls

This place is awesome 👏 i don’t know why people hate so much the workers there are awesome they are very socializable and hard working they would never do bad things to you and would want the best for the customers ✨and they also make their food homemade and fresh ☀️ like whoever hated this place was probably because they had a bad day 😢 and was just looking for some type of flaw to say or take their anger out on good people so don’t ever judge a book by it’s cover because I’ve seen them give food to homeless people at the end of the night when they were about to close but besides that the place is awesome 👏 and I would recommend YOU and my friends and family to go there 😃

I understand this is a family owned business or whatever but these people are overcharging for everything!! Ive never paid $3 for ONE Gatorade.. $3 for a tall can of cheap beer (mickeys, 211, etc....).. $2 for a regular sized candy bar... $12 cigarettes... Not to mention they sell Costcos Kirkland water bottles for $1+.. (Kirkland consumables cannot be resold...) Do these people not know what neighborhood theyre in? Its Oak Park one of the most ghetto areas in Sac and their store is one of the most expensive in Sac... Oak Park proud?? Lol.... Not worth it on any level.. Not even for the basics..

Negative Review Transgender Discrimination at this place 3 years now!!! The people that work at that store are transgender phobics. If they ever saw you before your transition, they will basically refuse to address you with the proper pro noun. Even if you tell them and remind them time after time they still will disrespect you because they are discriminative towards transgender people. My I’d, social security and birth certificate all state what I’m asking, along my obvious appearance.If your like me and get tired of being disrespected then you’ll prob feel me on this ultimate disrespectful experience. Yesterday on October 30th around 1pm I went inn there to ask them one more time to not speak my name using the wrong gender pronoun. The 2 girls back there one old one young mother and daughter got loud and disrespectful. And basically told me no! My roommate had gone inn there prior and they were talking to her about me and calling me the wrong gender pronoun to my roommate. We live across from there and they have had 3 years to figure out what I’m asking. They are breaking the law and I am furious about it and this Negative Review will not be all i do. Note: The store is greedy and the food is gross! I’m not just saying that because there Transgender haters but because iv had some stinky rice and noodles n meat from there.

I grew up in Oak Park since the early 80’s. I pride myself to teach my kids on how to buy $2 of hog maw with salt and tons of their hot sauce... That right there is the best!Back in the day, OPM had brandy fried chicken and that was the business!!!!JS

There was a homeless guy outside asking for money.. I was going in to get Chinese food, and was going to bring him some.. while in the store someone came in and said, this guy outside is asking people for money, and they said, who?. Where is he?? I thought, man, this guys in trouble now.. but they ran outside to catch him to ask if he was hungry.. then made him a three item plate for dinner.. truly a store that cares!!

The owners of Oak Park Market are about as down-to-earth and good local people as you can find family owned and run its not in the best part of town you need to be careful when you were there lots of drive-by shootings not very Street Smart youre better off not stopping there you never know what could happen the owners of the place are really down down home good people and do you have gas air prices are very high

Oak Park Market is a long standing store on Oak Park. It has hot food as well as beer, wine and tobacco products the Chinese food is delicious and the soul food also. Clean well lit neighborhood store.

This little store is convienent and the customer service is wicked awsome. I will take my buisness to this store over the big gas stations and liquor stores any day.
