Super cute icecream spot with great & delicious flavors. Vegan doggo treats outside on patio & water bowl too. Hazelnut & Matcha flavors were so amazing! My 12 yr old cousin wanted regular cookies & cream, but he liked this so much I dont think he cared it was vegan! They normally only buy him vegan. Hope this can be a new spot for them theyre both happy about. They make the cookies for it in house too! Theres more patio seating around corner with a large mural on the building next door too. We parked right in front of this corner shop, but area was pretty packed on a Sat night & could hear club music nearby.Love that theres nothing artificial, they use seasonal & local produce, organic & fair trade when possible. Fully biodegradable cups & spoons are a major bonus too! Check them out even if youre not vegan...flavors are unique & change up. Support this amazing small & local business!

My girlfriend has a dairy allergy, so she doesnt get to try things most people get to enjoy such as ice cream. This vegan creamery is a really cool addition to the community. Whether youre vegan or have a dairy allergy or not, this place has everything yummy. The service was amazing as well. Im happy to add this to our list of places to visit when we are in the area.

Finally got to try their new gelateria on Broadway. I love this gelato shop!! I am lactose intolerant so I love that I can try everything on the menu here! So many great things to try. I had a scoop of the golden milk I believe it was called. It had rich flavors such as turmeric and cardamom! Highly recommend! I look forward to trying the sundaes, shakes, gelato tacos, ice cream sandwiches, and waffle sundaes! They also have coffee and tea. The waffle sundaes are only served on Sundays. Customer service was super friendly and they have quite a few tables outside to eat at. I also purchased a pint of the cookie dough gelato to take home and they held it in the freezer for me until I headed home. Uses seasonal fruit from local growers when available and other fair-trade, non GMO, organic ingredients when possible! Love this place!!

I do not eat a vegan diet, and I really enjoyed this gelato. The flavors change, and I don’t know if there is a schedule to the flavor changes. You get to choose up to 3 flavors. I had the Strawberry Cheesecake (OMG-the best!), Roasted Strawberry, and Blueberry.

My wife and I recently moved here from Southern California, and something that weve been disappointed with so far was the lack of gluten free/dairy free ice cream choices in the Greater Sacramento Area.That is, until we stopped at Conscious Creamery.We ordered the cookie dough, as well as the coffee cake something (which was great), and even went back in to order an ice cream taco for the drive home.After making the move and being so sad to leave our favorite gluten free/dairy free ice cream place, were happy to have found Conscious Creamery.The only was incredibly friendly and explained how his wife makes all the flavors by scratch, and even recommended some restaurants for us to try since were new to the area.We will be back many, many times, and we live 30 minutes away. Worth the trip. The best vegan/gluten free waffle cone youll ever have.

I love that their ice cream is plant-based, with sustainable quality ingredients & creative & unusual flavor combinations. Thank you for keeping your customers safe by requiring masks. The outdoor patio is a pleasant mini-park with shade.

Way over priced for the flavor, the flavor was weird I do not recommend coming here, u only get a small amount this is a medium.

This place is on point! The ice cream is amazing and you wont even know that its non-dairy. They take good care of you as a customer! Staff are friendly knowledgeable and so very helpful. Everything tastes amazing!

The service is wonderful, the shop assistants were very friendly and knowledgeable. The ice cream was “good”. Everything in the shop is vegan and gluten free. If this is something you are looking for, this may be the spot for you.

Hubby and I have been wanting to try and finally got the chance this evening. I’m so sad to say that we were both very disappointed. We tried two flavors, s salted caramel and hazelnut and both had little flavor, felt chalky and left a film and a coating in our mouths. 15.50 for two medium cups… I would expect a much better product.

I was so excited to try this place being in my first year of being dairy free. I was disappointed. It tasted very fake, like artificial ingredients and sugar were added to cover the flavor. I have had vegan ice cream done very well but sadly this place did not meet the mark.

Im lactose intolerant and vegetarian, and I desperately want to love this place. After two attempts, were giving up. Everything weve tried has been a disappointment. Theres just no flavor to anything. I am not saying this to be mean...this is an actual fact...the wooden spoon I was eating off of had a stronger flavor that the last flavor I tried. Like, I could ONLY taste the spoon. The gelato had no discernable flavor at all. It is also SO expensive for the size, but it would be worth it if it was GOOD. I hope they can change their recipes.

Everything is gluten free and vegan! The I had the first milk shake Ive had in many, many years. They also have brunch all day on Sundays where you can get fancy waffles. I am looking forward to getting a waffle soon!

Two things.1: One of the servers immediately jumped down my throat because I brought my dog inside thinking it was okay because this shop specifically advertises on Instagram an event weekly that is FOR DOGS. They didnt even really greet me before doing this and then tried to back track/cover up a bit by saying but your fine for now, just for future reference. it really soured my experience and made me flustered. I understand if there are city mandates/rules, but this was not the way to handle it. I should have just left then and there because secondly...2. The peach option I got was super MEH. It was overly sweet and it really lacked a flavor profile. My dog wouldnt even touch the doggy friendly option they gave him 😆 what a waste of time and money.

Cashew milk ice cream, pretty delicious but keep flavor profile in mind when choosing gelato, mine tasted like a school sandwich with the chunks of peanut butter and strawberry jam

I went here with my dad today. It was 108 degrees outside and we took a 10 minute walk to get here. When we arrived, the lady made us wear masks even after the mandate was lifted and when it was over a hundred degrees outside! I ordered the cookies and cream ice cream and it tasted very powdery, I have been to vegan ice cream places before, and none of them tasted nasty 🤮 even if we weren’t in this pandemic right now, I’d still give this shop a bad review because the ice cream was nasty and the store is so tiny! Gross.

The best vegan ice cream/gelato in the greater Sacramento area. We used them for delivery as gifts to family members during the pandemic and their customer service has always been outstanding. They go above and beyond!

Its only my 2nd visit to Conscious Creamery but the staff makes each visit feel like youre a regular! They are always so inviting and their smiles radiate from behind the masks. The gelato flavors are so delicious and so very beautiful to the eye. They have seasonal flavors and special gelato tacos thats are a must try!!

Their products are nut based which means unfortunately Im unable to have them but my daughter can and she absolutely enjoyed herself

Honestly, this is some of the best gelato I’ve ever had. The flavors are superb. My daughter ordered the s’mores gelato, my son and I ordered the golden milk gelato on a gluten free waffle cone. I also bought a pint of the London Fog gelato to take home. All are delicious.

Gluten free, sugar free ice cream and shakes. Most of all Very Friendly staff.

Ordered some ice cream just outside of this spot online and was literally able to get it moments later.The ice cream was good, a solid 4 out of 5, but the service was swift and it was perfect for a slightly warm day in winter. 🍦🍦🍦🍨🍨🍨

Great ice cream and Choco Tacos

I usually go to pressed juicery for my soft freezes, but their machines were down. I wanted to try this place because they are another dairy free option. I ended up getting Vanilla bean with waffle topping for over $8! Talk about over priced! I was told fruit was not an option, even though I seen fruit on a Belgian waffle on their Instagram? The gelato was ok, I was more upset that I see someone walk out with fruit piled high on a waffle, but I couldn’t get that as a topping. Definitely will not be coming back when I can’t purchase what’s already there.

Im super happy about the Broadway location. Friendly staff and plenty of gelato options I have yet to try. My go to is the gelato taco, it reminds me of my high school days. During lunch I would have a Choco Taco or a mint Its It, and a cup of noodles. Long story short I know ill be visiting Conscious Creamery often.

This place is amazing! Their food is sooooo good. I can guarantee that it will bring you joy. Honestly, if you can tell any difference between this and dairy-based gelato, it will be because this tastes better!! I tried their special edition rose gelato, and its probably the best thing Ive ever had. On top of that, they have great customer service. I placed a large order and made a mistake in the delivery instructions that caused things to melt. They went so far above and beyond and replaced things for me, even though it was 100% my fault. I cannot say enough good things about this place. You should absolutely try it. You will not regret it!!

Hands down, this is our go to place for dessert for our regular weekend treats. They did an amazing job catering our wedding as well. Highly recommended! Cant wait for the shop in oak park to open up in the future!

Excellent dairy free gelato. Free delivery to Davis and other areas near Sacramento with a minimum order (currently $30). We love the changing variety of flavors. Favorites are lemon poppyseed, peanut butter fudge ripple and any flavor of the fudge gelato tacos. During COVID isolation periods, we ordered the gelato tacos to celebrate birthdays and holidays (loved the blueberry, strawberry, vanilla bean tacos offered for 4th of July). Appreciate the great door to door delivery and small batch crafted variety of flavors. Yum!!
