The light we bought was nothing like the image shown on the website so we decided to return it. They never sent us a return label like they said they would so we paid for our own and sent it to the return address that was on the email that they sent us. They received the package (according to the tracking number) and never sent us our refund. One month later they finally send us the return label but we already returned the merchandise. Two months later and still no refund. This is the first time after ordering hundreds of items online from other businesses that Ive been defrauded of my money. A cunning dishonest company.
I ordered these lights in the beginning of July, because the website stated the product was in stock. I did not receive an immediate response saying the lights were back ordered, I didnt get that until a week or so later. That email stated it would be another 3 weeks, August 3, before the lights would be back in stock. I followed up on August 4 to confirm the lights were on the way to only be told today that they will not be in stock until August 20. I cancelled an order with a competitor, even though these were more expensive, because the site said the lights were in stock and even the August 3 back order date was manageable. Now I regret that cancellation.I understand that during COVID things happen and businesses are doing their best. My frustration stems from the fact that they said they had them in stock to only have that delivery date pushed back twice.
This company sent me the wrong item twice. When I called to complain about the same mistake happening twice, they hung up on me after speaking with a rep. When I called back, I sat on hold for 30 minutes waiting for a manager. Never got to a manager, instead they stated they can’t make exchanges and proceeded to offer a refund to buy the item AGAIN. Guess what, it was listed for 3X the price I paid!!! Shady business, do not shop here.
I’m so glad that I ordered 4 light fixtures from 1Stoplighting. One was on back order and it did take several weeks. But it was totally worth the wait. The other 3 fixtures shipped right away.As it turned out 1 fixture was too large for my space. I was able to return free of charge and my account was credited within 3 days!I will definitely shop here again. The customer service was excellent. I will follow up with pictures after my bathrooms are finished.I’m glad I didn’t read the reviews before my purchase. Everything went very smoothly.Don’t hesitate to shop at 1Stoplighting!
Very disappointing and frustrating 2+ month ordeal. The initial order was lost by FedEx. After numerous calls and one month delay in receiving a replacement order, the product was not even close to that online! The pendant lights were supposed to have a coconut colored glass shade, instead they were plain-vanilla white and one unit had a cross threaded nut for holding the shade. It took another month hassling with return and numerous calls to receive credit .
Tried to order a light fixture. First using PayPal. The order never went through. (I may have missed a step.) Tried again, this time with a Visa card. Went through, got an email confirmation. Tried to check on it a few days later with the order# they gave me, their website could not find my order. Emailed them, no response. Called my bank, canceled the Visa transaction.
Horrible customer service! DO NOT order from this company. Placed an order in November 2020- took 6 months for 1/2 of my order to arrive and the pendant lights that coordinates with my other lights are STILL on back order! I canceled the pendants two weeks ago-still no refund on my credit card! I’m trying to get an RA to return the other lights !!

I placed an order for a fan. Received the order confirmation. Several days went by and no shipment. I started calling. On hold very very long times, no one answered. Left messages. The recording said theyre 2 call back with 72 hours. Never did. They Have almost $700 orderand I have no fan and cant get any on to answer phone.
Ordered two table lamps. Arrived early, packaged well with no issues. Price was the lowest I found in fact it was for sale at twice the price I paid at another store so I was thrilled. Definitely recommend and will not hesitate to purchase again.
I do not recommend purchasing from 1stoplighting.com I purchased a lighting fixture in September with an anticipated delivery of early November. Fixture finally shows up mid December and is damaged. Still trying to get the fixture returned but they do not reply to emails or the website contact form. Very disappointed with the whole experience. Go to a reputable retailer like build.com
Very dissappointed with the company: I placed an order on the 9th of december 2020. After 1 month of waiting and many phone calls later, I was asked to be more patient. After two months of waiting, they finally realized that my order was lost in transport. My order had been paid (+400 $CAD) on the very day my order was placed! When I finally received my order, the item received looked nothing like what we had ordered from the website (see pictures). After multiple emails and phone calls, not ever being able to speek with a manager, and not having the same information from one customer service representative to another, they finally told me that I would get paperwork for an eventual return from the manufacturer, around the 21first of March; to send the fixture back. By the time they receive it in the United States, my not-yet-received reimboursement will have been 4 months in process! We are in 2021; most on-line business have taking example on Amazon and such: Place an order, pay for the order, receive the order, ALL IN ONE WEEK! I have been polite and too patient. This review is beeing written and I still have the unwanted merchandise in my home, and still NO REFUND! I cannot in good faith recommend this company. So many frustrations for such a would-be simple process...
Horrible Experience - They showed inventory on a dining room chandelier. A day after I ordered I got a note that it was backordered and would be back in stock in a week. So, I waited a week to learn that it was backordered until the end of January. I am sure my family will enjoy our holiday dinner in the dark..... Thanks 1STOP.
Don’t buy anything from this company. They quoted us prices on outdoor lights. Said we would receive them in 10 days. After 25 days we still had not heard from them. Don’t waste your time calling them. They never answer their phones. We wasted over 2 hours on hold on 2 different calls. Left return call number with them but they never returned the call. Then tried emailing them...they never responded. We tried to track the confirmation umber to no avail. Many other and better companies to do business with.

When I order the item I was told the item would arrive a week later. The item didnt arrive and I didnt receive any information until I called to find out the status. I received an email advising it would arrive 6 weeks later. After waiting 2 months and $1140.00 in limbo (no item and no money). I received an item that needed to be put together, like something that was purchased from IKEA or Walmart.The description stated:Due to its large size, this product will be shipped via freight truck and not small parcel.The statement above leads one to believe it is coming by freight. Ive received all my furniture by freight. Freight leads one to believe it is coming put together.....it came by Fedex like the mirror i received 30 minutes later.I called and spoke to customer service. She wasnt rude but not customer service oriented. She told me to return it and purchase it from your competitor whom sells it already put together.
So apparently this is the only means by which a person can get a response from the customer service department at 1StopLighting, so here I go singing the same song as the other DISSATISFIED and IGNORED customers. I ordered a 60” downrod (order# 858660). On 6/26/20 I received the wrong downrod. I ordered polished chrome, they sent me bronze. Easy fix right??? just call customer service and ask them to exchange it for the correct item...That would make sense if you’re dealing with a professionally functioning business that actually cares about their reputation and their customers. 1STOPLIGHTING is no such company! I have pursued every means instructed by their website and customer service call line to simply get a return authorization code so I can return the item...I would not dare try to reorder from them. But I can not get ANY RESPONSE. When I call ( and like the other reviewers I’ve spent HOURS UPON HOURS on hold), I enter any number that I think someone would answer. On two separate occasions, both of the employees that answered could care less about helping me get any resolution, no matter how desperate I expressed that I am to get help. They just placed me back on hold to wait for hours longer. I am not the type to speak disparagingly about a company, but I feel the need to warn potential customers that if they consider purchasing any items online from 1STOPLIGHTING, you should prepare yourself for absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE response or assistance. Perhaps now someone will contact me???? Just listen to the several messages & emails sent to you from the customer with this order number above.😒😒😒😒😒😒
Their advertised discounts are not really true. Adverised 25% off is more like 20% off. Do You own calculations before believing their calulations. SIMPLY, FALSE ADVERTISING.
This store is making fraud purchases and using credit cards numbers and not checking ID, and making purchases without an actual physical card present. Fraud charges were being made on my credit card and they were coming from this store. Be careful here or just go somewhere else if you care about identity theft.

Great prices on a variety of top of the line lighting. The three large outdoor lights I received were at such a great price, and I had so many excellent styles and brands to choose from. They did honor the $25 refund however they promptly sent my lights slightly outside of the window promised, but still in fantastic time.All lights perfect, one little cracked glass panel was replaced in a day or so with such an efficient and prompt concerned response.Truly unbelievable customer service and I have used them for a while with repeated excellent results. Love 1Stop- my first stop for lighting!
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM 1STOPLIGHTING. First their delivery was messed up, they couldnt tell me where it was and missed the commit delivery date. Unfortunately, the light arrived damaged. Knowing it would have to be returned, we put the light in the kitchen to see how it actually would look to make a final decision and submitted the return request and waited for a response. After numerous emails to get the RMA #, we received a denial of the return because we installed their damaged product. If they wont take back their damaged product, dont expect them to give you a return on a non-damaged product which doesnt meet your expectations. Just terrible to work with. Certainly not a e-commerce company. Spend your money elsewhere.
Unbelievable a company can be so ignorant. I purchased 2 lights and 2 base units for the lights. They sent the bases and charged me and then sent an email that the lights are discontinued. PROOF THAT DROP SHIPPING AND NOT KNOWING YOUR PRODUCTS FROM YOUR MANUFACTURES EQUALS POOR ONLINE SALES COMPANY. I contacted them to get refund for bases and send back with no response. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!!!
For the past 5 years my lights always go out so quickly and I constantly changed them, but I just switched to 1stop about 4 years ago and the lights are amazing. Ive barely had to change them. I would highly recommend them as they have saved me so much time and money. Thanks 1stop!
I ordered 3 lights and they were all beautiful and just as described. The one came a little later than promised and they refunded $25! and one of the glasses was broken and it was replaced for free and no questions asked! Great customer service and Im very satisfied. I did find the same lights cheaper on amazon but that was my own fault! But it was worthy at the end because I didnt have to worry about getting a replacement glass and they gave me $25 back anyway! Sometimes is better to pay a little more when you know the company will stand behind their products!
When they actually honor their shipping and price guarantees it can be great. But I hate having to call them again and again to achieve what they promise on their website. Next time I will juts order form the cheaper site. Products have been as expected, but then I check reviews across the web before ordering.
Totally recommend. Everything came in quickly and with no problems. I used this website to get lights for my backyard and they are still in great condition from 5 years ago!
I ordered a chandelier from one of the top brands - Crystalorama in around thousand dollars and was very sceptical on how would it be when it is delivered via a completely online retailer. In the end, package arrived on time and was completely up to my expectations. There were no surprises and the retailer is really good. I would definitely consider them for many more purchases in future as well. See the pic of the one I purchased after I installed it.

I purchased a C16-51 picture light for $82.40 to illuminate a canvas print. The lamp doesnt swivel enough and casts a shadow across the top 2 of the print. 1stoplighting refuses to do anything about it . This lamp is useless as it is. 1stoplighting says there is nothing wrong with the lamp which means anyone who purchases this lamp will also waste $82.40.I do not recommend this retailer.

I e-mailed them (9) times to see if they could re-activate the order and although I got return receipt requested for ALL (9) e-mails nobody EVER responded to me. The item I purchased from them was out of stock and they refused to refund my money but were trying to tell me I had to wait until they got more in. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Alberta based contractor, bought a 60 inch fan for a customer and the fan did not work. They offered to send out a new remote and see if that worked, it did not fix the problem. They then offered to send out a replacement motor and had our electrician install it, wrong part. They sent out the correct part and it still didnt work, they finally sent out a new fan and promised to cover all my electricians cost for the customer. We appreciated them covering that cost as it was over $500, then the cheque is in the mail routine which has gone on for the past 4-5 months...now the rep Matt Stocks is not returning his calls and the customer is very upset over a fan purchase ordeal that has lasted over 1 year now...brutal !
Be careful when buying something in this business, in my case i had ordered a lamp after 2 days it was in a lower price and when I call to match the price, they can didnt by phone they request on e-mail with the link that the lamp is the lower price; oh course i sending the email to customer service, by not having any answer oh call back To response about that. I have to called again, but my surprise they received the e-mail but they said the link will not be able to open. and that link is in his own website; they were refusing to do the price match. I decided to returned the lamp, is more than two weeks they received the lamp and Im still waiting to they give me a credit back.

Worst service ever. I ordered a fixture, promised 3 day delivery. Five days later, they say it is coming in three more days. They keep changing the delivery date, pushing it back a few days each time. I call and the helpful agent tells me it is backordered for four weeks, and gives me a bunch of nonsense about why I was given incorrect dates. I called the next day to cancel the order. A month later, they ship the order that was cancelled and charge my card. Now I have to go to a FedEx drop off miles away to return the cancelled order. Hard to be more incompetent than they are.They offered a good price, but no way I would ever deal with them again.
I found their selection vast and their prices significantly lower for identical product, even factoring in the Canadian exchange rate. Note that prices are in USD. Everything is included in the price (shipping, HST, duty) so there was no surprise at checkout. An item was back ordered and when I called, the sales rep (Ethan) ensured that I got a suitable product at a very fair price. Overall, an A+ first experience.
Terrible customer service. Dont fall for their delivery promise. They say theyll give you next day delivery or refund $25 back. This is not true. Dont be surprise if you have to wait more than a week. Getting a hold of them or to reply to your calls/emails is nearly impossible.
I placed and order for 4 pendant lights 3 weeks ago. First there was a delay in receiving the lights. The lights were to be a 2-day delivery but 3 came after 10 days and 1 came after 14 days. The lights they sent were the incorrect size. There were two different sizes of the pendant lights, I had paid for the larger size which was significant more cost than the smaller size. I contact the company and despite sending pictures that showed proof of the incorrect lights/size, the replacement was denied. After continuing to contact the company to get this addressed, I received another replacement order and yet again the replacement was denied. When I asked to speak with the supervisor, I was told there was nothing she could do. Still they have not addressed the issue by either sending the correct lights that I paid for or issuing a refund.
These lights are fantastic. The site is beautiful and customer service very helpful. I will be buying lights from 1StopLighting again.
Stay away. Order placed on for sale Holtkoetter floor lamp on 9 -1-17 with their website indicating availability - typically ships within 2 weeks. Then received email indicating backordered. Checked in October - assured order was place with manufacturer. Checked in November assured they would have the lamp in stock guaranteed mid December. Checked mid January 2018 and received form email indicating the product is no longer available. No proactive notifications. Called customer service and the company refuses to issue credit back to my credit card.
Service personnel said they will send the replace but they just said and never email back and dont want to help, terrible customer service.They advertise to sell like low price with maid in china, or very low quality and defected items!!Company would not return my calls. I ordered a Kichler light fixture months ago. They said it was backordered until the first week in September. Then in late September I was told that it was in the warehouse, just being processed, and I would receive it no later than October 10. On October 11, I called and once again told it was being processed in the warehouse and would be shipped out in the next couple days. Today I received an email saying it was now backordered until the end of November! So basically, they lied twice when they said it was being processed in the warehouse. I have no doubt that the end of November would come, and still no fixture! Too bad, because I really liked the design. But I will be cancelling my order and will NEVER order from this site again!!

HORRIBLE customer service on the backend. Ironically, I had great experience with their sales team (although shipping was slow). Then, I got the wrong part. Emailed July 5 for Return/Replacement. As of today, July 21st, Ive exchange NUMEROUS emails. Each of them was a oh, were waiting on the vendor. I finally requested the vendors customer service (Maxim), who when I got them on the phone, they were GREAT (wondered why they had to do the dirty work for 1StopLighting though). They provided me the tracking that had shipped on July 19th. Strange, nobody at 1StopLighting knew this, nor could help me. Very poor customer support. Great Maxim product, great sales, but very very poor customer support.
