Have a 2011 Victory Cross Country and needed a new back tire. Very knowledgeable personnel and gave me a better price and cheaper price than the dealership wanted to charge me. I was so happy with them,that I went back for the front tire and had to renew the seals in my front forks due to a leak in my seal. I highly recommend them. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and dont try to gouge you like regular dealerships!

Great independent shop.The owner has been there done that, very knowledgeable.Doesnt have the attitude a lot of shops have, meaning, that he is very approachable.Prices are pretty much the same as online, and if you get your order in at a decent time, youll get your part the next day.Dont make the mistake of ordering online, and waiting 2-5 days (like I did)

Might be a great place. But listing their closing hours at 6p when the business actually closes at 5p is not cool. I was there at 5:02 today after driving some distance in traffic.. not a soul to be found. Guess I should have looked at Yelp instead, where the correct hrs are listed.

Their website clearly shows that they are OPEN today from 9am-5pm. I drove down from Pollock Pines (50 miles) to find a hand written note on the door about “Closed Monday’s. New Winter Hours”. Complete BS. I won’t be back if they can’t take the time to update their website. Really not a great way to start the week.

American is the best around, always helpful, fair to customers, if you are looking for parts or service you cant go wrong.

Mechanics are very knowledgeable and get the job done in a timely manner. prices are reasonable. Bets the hell out of going HD. I would recommend them to my friends.

Rude, disrespectful and confrontational to the point of running off customers. The owner doesnt seem to understand that if you piss off your customers you lose any business they may send his way. Shops like this are a dime a dozen, they come and usually go quickly.

The guys in the shop are always willing to share their knowledge. Plus his prices are hard to beat.

I purchased some new turn front marker lights for my 2001 FXD the new brackets were 2 different sizes I skimmed the larger one with a rubber collar till I came back from a road trip. Tom at American made it RIGHT 2 new brackets were ordered and came in 1 day later!!Shout out Tommy it will be a sad day for me when you retire!! People dont CARE to work with you anymore!!They just dont give a ph...😎

I called this place today to see if they worked on bikes, they said they work on Harleys. I ok cool I have a VROD, the woman on the phone said with a firm voice We only work on Harleys, I assured her that the VROD is a Harley. She was talking back and forth between someone in the shop and myself. She told this person he says the VROD is a Harley he laughed and again stated we only work on Harleys I told them all I needed done was a rear wheel bearing swap, she relayed that to the guy, he said, yeah if he rides a VROD he needs something done with his rear I explained that I have the wheel off, and have the new bearings in hand it would be a simple swap, the same as most bikes including non VROD models. She then put me on hold for about 5 minutes to speak with the mechanic, then comes back and sayswe just dont really want to work on the VRODAs a shop I have no problem if you want to work on my bike or not, but the childish comments, and superiority complex are not needed. I have recommended this shop many times for friends with Harleys and I have purchased stuff for my Heritage Softail here before. I will no longer recommend this shop to anyone, nor will I shop there myself.
