Extremely Unprofessional, Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. I want the names of the two men who made my Elderly Disabled Mother CRY, by making rude comments about her appearance, when she came in to order a thermostat for her car, in order to be able make it to her eldest grandsons birthday party next week. She shouldnt have left your store in tears, idk who you all *think you are* but this is foul and discriminatory against both the Disabled and elderly communities. Until these men can be held accountable for their inexcusably rude actions, I dont recommend EVER going to Baxters Auto Parts.
On August 3rd at Baxter Auto Parts. while talking with the larger guy that normally stands behind the counter to the right as you enter the store, he got visibly upset with me while speaking to him. All the while I have a medical mask on and am 6ft from everyone around me. I had to stop and ask him what was wrong because I felt like he was throwing off a tone like he was about to put hands on me. This is insane. Never have I been treated like this at any store. So he starts raising his voice and tells me to leave and that he can refuse service to anyone. Last time I checked you would have to do something to get kicked out of the store right??? Very unsafe environment inside that store. Im guessing that hes taking his personal problems out on the customers. Tried to contacted the owner and left a message and no response. Looking forward to doing a formal complaint against this place and these guys. Go to the many other auto parts stores in the area because this one is not worth it at all.

One of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had was at Baxter’s, and I never even entered the store. I arrived at Baxter’s to browse for some parts, and as I was heading towards the store two of the employees were walking out headed to their cars. It had not occurred to me what time it was, and the store had already closed. As I walked towards their locked doors one of the employees politely explained the store was closed for the day. I thanked him and headed back towards my vehicle, and then the employee says he’s more than happy to open back up if there was something, anything I needed. I couldn’t believe it, how many other stores would offer to do the same thing after a long day? Excellent customer service. I wish I had gotten their names so I could call the corporate office and let them know how awesome it was.

Great place to still be able to get parts for classic vehicles. Only place in Salem that had in stock the fuses my 78 f250 takes. And the staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable!
The kid was helpful and allowed us to look at the catalogs with him to find the right part.
Baxter auto parts is awesome. The parts are reasonably priced and they stand behind their products.
Sometimes they have to order stuff, but its always there next day. Shop local! These guys and gals are great. Always helpful.
Waited 8 days for an exhaust that was damaged and missing one piece, the waited 6 more days so they could re-order from Amazon in Kentucky a kit that ships from LA.Dumb counter help with p÷#$$ poor attitudes.Shop owner kept apologizing for them and not his fault.Keeping the five star shop and will never go near Baxter again.
One of the last stores in town with knowledgeable staff. They will send you out the door with the correct part the first time.

Extremely rude, quiet, attitude weird dudes in there. The Mexican just starred at me like I was stupid and only looked up the product for a whopping 15 seconds. What a joke, I will keep buying stuff online. At least it is something I can trust and respect.

They read my cars codes for free which was great of them, I definitely appreciated that. :-) But I was in pretty bad trouble with my car: it was stalling out (mid intersection) every couple of minutes! I had hoped for a little more help with troubleshooting the problem or ideas about how I could limp it home.The man offered to order the part I might need, but for nearly $70, I couldnt afford it. (I found the part online for under $20 and still cant afford it. Lol.)It wasnt a terrible interaction at all.. but it definitely wasnt an excellent one either. :-( Maybe its just me, but disinterested, impersonal customer service experiences always leave a really bad impression on me.
Brian and staff are very knowledgeable and helpful, used to go there when it was Davis Auto.
These guys are great to get help and parts from; A very nice, and very refreshing group of individuals who arent overly cocky because they have a shirt.Cant find it at the stereotypical parts store? Call these guys and theyll find it and expidite it for you!

My experience with baxter auto parts is very good. Customer Service is very respectful. If you have a question they will answer it and they know what are talking about. Unlike the other auto parts around town.
