I took my car to Bellinger because I saw their reviews and they were one of the few people in Salem who work on Volvos. Within days of them diagnosing my car with two minor problems my car completely broke down and was unable to start. When I called to resolve the issue with them they would not take responsibility and were rude. I went to a different mechanic and they resolved the issue entirely. Bellingers completely missed the problem and refused to take responsibility for the unprofessionalism and poor work. Too expensive for horrible service and no help. The owner is rude and obnoxious and thinks he is better than everyone else. They take advantage of women or anyone who doesnt know a ton about cars. Save your money and find somewhere else where there are actually nice people who are willing to help. If I could give negative stars I would.UPDATE:After leaving a negative review on another website, the company reached out to me and will be reimbursing me. I am still leaving it at one star since I was denied a reimbursement previously and it took multiple reviews on different websites to get reimbursement.

Trust this place. Had issues with my Honda Accord, 2007. Things didnt feel right. Had to replace my battery twice in as many years. Turns out they fully charged the battery and gave a tune-up. My car runs so well, I hadnt noticed other issues. Picked up my car the next day... the car drove like new again. I am so pleased. My neighbor referred me. He was right! Staff were pleasant.

They have taken care of both my Daughters and Grand Daughters car and did an excellent job fixing some issues that nobody else seemed to be able to find or fix. Excellent Service!

They got my car fixed up and safe for the road for a very reasonable prices (despite them having to do extra work because my cars computer was being a jerk)! I took my Volvo in for servicing when I thought there was a problem with my power steering unit. I was told that there was nothing wrong with the unit as the noise I was hearing was not a problem. I appreciated the fact that they did not make up an issue, and were honest with me. There was no charge for that service. I will continue to have my car serviced at Bellinger Tires.

Bellinger Tire has taken care of me and my XC90 and X1. They do a great job of keeping on top of the required maintenance and providing me with upcoming concerns. If I have questions, they take time to answer and explain, which I greatly appreciate! I also order my tires through Bellinger and they have the same customer service as Les Schwann. It’s wonderful having a locally owned, honest company to take my car to.

Not only was he friendly and fast at completing the needed work, but he 100% handled the claim submitted to the warranty company and was sure to get the service covered by the warranty with manufacturer parts. Went in for tire change. Quick and efficient. They let me know my alignment was still good, which is nice to know on a high mileage car. Would definitely go back again.

I discovered my rear turn signals were not working yesterday, I changed the bulbs but that did not appear to fix the issue so I was going to take it to the shop for a diagnostic, someone mentioned it could be the fuse which I thought i had checked but I forgot about the fuse by the battery, I was sitting in the parking garage and opened the hood and sure enough the fuse was blown, while standing there contemplating where to get a new one a gentleman walked by and asked if i was alright then suggested your establishment and you were right around the corner, I walked in and asked if you had the 20 amp fuse one of your people walked back and found one and as I was getting ready to pay he said dont worry about it. Thank you for taking the stress out of my morning and helping me fix the issue, I will be sure and recommend you.

I brought my car in to have a new exhaust installed, dropped it off in the morning, and the job was done by lunch time. When I picked up the car Casey took the time to point out a few items he noticed during installation. Im planning to come back when I get new shocks and wheels in the spring. Very happy with the work quality, the price, and the customer service.

I am extremely happy with my experience at Bellinger Tire in Salem Oregon today. I brought my truck in to have the oil changed and to check the engine lights and to determine why it was missing when going up hills. The guys were great, changed the oil, cleaned an air flow sensor and determined that my brakes needed to be replaced. The price I was quoted was reasonable and the final bill was less than anticipated.I had a great experience here today with my 99 Tacoma and would highly recommend them to you.

Bellinger tires may be great mechanics but in my opinion they are extremely over priced. I came in for a check engine light on my Volvo S40. Turned out to be a spark plug misfiring along with a coil. When I spoke to them on the phone they never told me about the $198 diagnostic fee and so when I come to pick up my girl the next day the guy says itll be +700 to fix! For a coil and spark plug replacement?? Really?? I went to a local mechanic in south Salem. I believe it was prancing moose motors. The gentlemans name is John and he gave me an honest review and hes patching up Lourdes (my volvo) for a quarter of the price. I suggest you dont make them your only stop. Look around.

Theyve been my familys mechanic almost ever since we moved to Salem, and they have consistently provided excellent service. They also make sure you are informed about whatever it is youre going in to do, and if it is close enough, will even offer to drive you to and from work while they are working on your car.

When I ask for something that might not square with what they assess, I am provided information and options to understand their perspective. I am treated well. Very professional and honest. I had taken my car to power kia and they broke a part while replacing the transmission and then denied breaking it. I took it to Bellinger and they easily diagnosed the problem, fixed it and provided great customer service along the way. Casey is great and made sure I was informed throughout the process.

Ive been going to Bellingers for automotive work and tires for about three decades. Its my go-to place for any work on my car for three reasons. First is reliability: they get the job done right, in a timely manner, at a reasonable price. Second, theyre a longstanding local independent business, members of my community, and thats who I most like to do business with. Third, I like and trust the people there. Come to think of it, maybe thats my first reason.

Great and super fast service! I know one of the mechanics who works there, and he sold me on Bellinger being cheaper and better than other service departments. He was right!

Talked us out of what we wanted. Sold us tires that pick up rocks daily. Extremely hard and time consuming to get them out. No accountability. No concern for customer satisfaction. Has refused any kind of solution. Has refused to even help to get the rocks out - not even once. Says he does not have the staff to help remove the rocks. Says the tires are rated well. Says it will stop picking up rocks when the tread wears down - which is when we will need new tires. Makes our nice car very unpleasant to drive in. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT DO BUSINESS OF ANY KIND WITH THIS SHOP.

When I first moved to Salem, driving my Volvo, needing tires, I felt Id lucked out by seeing a sign for Bellinger Tire, specializing in servicing Volvos (and now other makes). After my first experience, I knew that lucked out was an understatement.The mechanics are knowledgeable, experienced and go out of their way to satisfy. The owners and team are there for both excellent service and customer satisfaction. Each time I have service, the mechanics go over the car and provide a list of parts, service that are in good, fair or poor condition; yet with no hard sell or pressure. Just a friendly and safety-minded notice of things to consider in future service.As important as good service and outcome, the company and mechanics respond appropriately and responsibly if there are issues. Many a service company can get good reviews when all goes well; but the truly deserving ones are those that handle themselves well, and as best they can to satisfy, when things do not go as smoothly, even when they had no control over the issues. That, amongst all else, is what makes Bellinger Tire heads above others and worthy of them being your service company.

Not just a tire shop. They cleared service codes for me (no charge!), installed struts, flushed the power steering & brake fluid, and soon will change out the timing belt and water pump on my 04 Volvo V70. They even fixed some shoddy work done by a shop up in Portland. I feel lucky to have someone I can trust here in Salem. I wont take my car anywhere else. They let me bring in my own parts if I can get them for less elsewhere. They dont treat me like an idiot.

Dropped our 2004 4Runner off for an oil change last week. Went to put on the new windshield wipers we had in the back seat this weekend and couldnt find them anywhere. We figured the kids did something with them. Nope - Bellinger saw them in the car and put them on without us even asking. This is one small example of the service you get here. Thats why we have been customers for over 15 years. If you work near the Capital Mall, take your car to Bellinger Tire. They are dependable, honest, and reasonable.

I cant say enough about the quality of service.....I feel like my vehicle is well looked after and they are honest and trustworthy....however...the price is not unbelievable.......not to mention I asked for an estimate on a complete chainging of fuilda in my vehicle before I dropped it off.....was $350...final bill was $500... estimate was just labor And did not include parts (fluids)... seriously.... you know the make model and year ahead of time...let a person budget it without suprises......things like this make.me consider going to the dealership..... seriously....I might actually save a buck

Ive used lots of car repair places over the years in different places Ive lived and Bellinger is my favorite. Bellinger is very reasonable in their prices and is never pushy about repairs. They will let you know everything that needs to be done but youre not going to get pressured into doing something. They are also have great communication. This is not always the case with repair shops. They call you and let you know what the issue is what the options are when it does to dealing with the problem. They also are great with their scheduling to make sure you bring your car at a time when they can get the job done instead of having to leave it there for days. (Ive made early morning trips to other repair shops to only have to call them at the end of the day and they havent even looked at it) Id recommend Bellinger to any of my friends.

Ive been going to Bellinger Tire for so long I cant remember exactly when I had my first appointment. A good friend from the office suggested I try them out and see what I thought. They fixed the car on time, within estimate, and gave excellent customer service, I was hooked for a life time of hassle free auto service. When I go for an appointment they go over the list of needed and right away I know what the work is, estimate of repairs, and schedule. Everyone is friendly and they go out of their way to help. We count on our Van being there when we need it. Im disabled and use the van to transport my power wheelchair. The wheelchair is mandatory for me to get around to everything from the numerous doctors appointment and physical therapy to shopping for groceries. If the van were not available to us I would pretty much be confined at home and unable to get to the different events in life. This may seem to be a trivial thing until it happens to you than it becomes major issue. We drive the van in excess of 35,000 miles a year to meet our needs. If the van is not operational and dependable it becomes a significant problem fast. Bellingers has always been there to provide us quality service in a timely fashion. Head to Bellingers for great and timely service at a competitive price. Theyve always treated us great.

When I purchased my Volvo about 4 years ago we found bellingers tires. They have always been great. Not only with fixing my car, but communicating with me and always being able to schedule my car in that day or the day after.
