This is the first time I ever used Prestige Auto Repair. I have a Mercedes and the transmission was having problems. They fixed it, they are very professional very trustworthy and very qualified. I would recommend Prestige Auto to anybody who needs car servicing. I give them a gold star!

We have taken cars to Prestige for many years and will continue to do so. They are extremely friendly and professional. They are busy but can always get us in quickly and get the work done on schedule. They are great mechanics but also great people. They are honest and thorough. Chris always clearly explains what is essential to do for safety sake compared to what is recommended for general maintenance. He has even explained to my sons how to do some of their own repairs as they learn how to take care of their cars. We are thankful to have a mechanic we really trust and would highly recommend Prestige.

The reviews I read before going here was on point. Prestige seems like a good place to go for bmw repair. They registered and coded my battery and even answered a side question that I had. Nevermind the dog that welcomed me when I showed up and was waiting for the repair, which was done in reasonable time and the price was right. Will go back when needed.

We purchased a very nice used BMW X3 that was several years old, & the wonderful folks at Prestige Auto Repair did the regular routine maintenance, & a couple of repairs to get our X3 into tip-top shape. They provided pictures which showed what truly needed the maintenance, & the report they provided after the repairs was awesome! The employees are very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, & over-the-top helpful. So, please believe all the positive reviews, & ignore the very few unfavorable reviews; especially, due to them being for a different business; or, are for a vehicle that was never at Prestige. Thank you!!

Honestly it was more than I wanted to spend on an oil change. But it was my fault for buying a mb. They found issues I wasnt aware of but they werent pressuring me to fix it. They took pics and showed me exactly what was wrong, I dont feel like they were trying to get more money out bc I could see exactly what they were talking about and those things truly needed fixing. I def will be going back there. Very pleasant experience. It was worth the extra money.

Car had a Engine Malfunction Light come on along with a broken hose. They are always very busy (a good sign) but we’re able to let me have the car towed there. They went out of their way to accommodate me. I wouldn’t use anyone else for my Mini Countryman and BMW X5.

Everyone at Prestige has always been friendly and informative. They have always been attentive to the details of the repairs needed. I also appreciate that they contact me with any added concerns and costs so there are no surprises when picking up my car. I highly recommend them for any maintenance or repairs.

Prestige Auto Repair has always done a great job maintaining my 2006 Mini Cooper and this time was no different. They did a complete diagnostic test and sent me the results before performing any work. They completed everything within 1 day. When I went to pick up my car, it seemed fine. After driving it for a bit longer, I noticed a strange noise. I called them and they took my car in the next day and gave me a loaner car. They had found a bolt that hadn’t been tightened. They fixed it promptly and had my car back to me that same day. They have always been very professional and courteous to me and I will continue to do business with them. I appreciate them and their knowledge about my car. It’s nice to have a local business to support that I trust.

The team at Prestige Auto Repair did a great job on our Mini Cooper. We came in for a tuneup and asked them to find if there was anything else that needed to be addressed. They did find a few things that were effecting the performance of our vehicle. They quoted me a price before they started the work and stayed under what they said it would cost.Honest people who do great work. This wasn’t our first time with Prestige and it won’t be our last.

What a joke. Kept my 85 500SEL 2+ weeks; didnt address any issues I brought it in for; Chris (I assume the service manager) has terrible communication skills-his story was never the same; they damaged some wiring, but said nothing; totally incompetent at working on older classics; complete failure and disappointment.

Had a surprise broken shock bolt on my sprinter van, and I assumed the (aftermarket fox) shock was destroyed. Prestige removed the sheered bolt without issue, and had a local machine shop recreate a sleeve/bushing I couldn’t get from Fox! Excellent communication, reasonable rates, and competent service. My van has a new service home.

We can rely on their expert diagnostics, timely repairs, and friendly service of our SL450.

The initial fix ideas were more then I wanted to spend so they hunted and found a better solution involving another vendor and now Im all fixed!

Our 2011 BMW X5 35d has been serviced here since we purchased it in 2017. We have had major work on the exhaust system & sensors, to include warranty issues, brake jobs, suspension work, & preventive maintenance. Chris & the crew have always been knowledgeable, proactive & spot on on their assessments. They are easy to talk to & have gained my trust.

I had a bizarre electrical situation pop up with my 1999 Mercedes E320. It wouldnt start, let me turn the key, every single warning light was on, and for some reason the blower motor would turn on and stay on if I didnt disconnect the battery. Mike and his team tracked it down to a faulty battery that had reversed polarity. I thought the car was beyond repair and bound for the junkyard, but they got it up and running for basically the cost of a new battery and diagnosis of a complete fluke. I recommend them to whoever needs European car repair.

Ive had my older Mercedes serviced and repaired for several years now at Prestige Auto Repair. It is a genuine pleasure to work with the friendly and courteous staff and mechanics there; work is done promptly, at reasonable cost and with true professional ethics. Its so hard to find honest mechanics, however Prestige seems to employ them all. They are friendly and explain things well. They give you your options and they provide you with valuable insight. I have taken 3 or my cars over the years, a Mercedes and 2 BMWs. There prices are always cheaper or comparable to the dealership, however they are much more trustworthy. They wont mess around or try to upcharge you on different things, or try and sell you services you dont need. Their part prices seem to always be less than what you can get parts for yourself online. German Auto Repair is expensive in general but Im glad to give my money to Chris, Tim and the owner.

Had a knocking noise coming from engine area of our 06 325xi, feared the worst rod knock thankful for the team at prestige auto .turns out it was the air compressor making the noise, replaced it & was all done quickly & to our satisfaction . they did a great job, very courteous & attentive even with a follow up to check on the car !!!very happy with their quality of work !

Glad I found them. Each time I take my car in for service or repair I feel confident that the work will be done right and at a fair cost. Chris is always up front with me about things that can wait, unlike the local dealer that uses scare tactics so you open your wallet wider. They have always been very helpful if I need a ride too. And the four legged furry technician is friendly also.

You Mini owners know how hard it is to get Mini service if you dont go to the dealer in Portland which is not convenient and expensive. Prestige serviced my mini in a professional, efficient way and is more reasonable and more convenient .

Solid, straightforward, thorough and honest. Just a great experience overall. I very much appreciated being updated throughout the process and it was evident they value their customers greatly. They had me up-and-running quickly, at a very reasonable price. Their mechanics are obviously top of their game, and I would highly recommend this shop. 1st time at Prestige and was happy with my experience with them and Chris. I had been told that I needed a new oil filter housing elsewhere but wanted to get another opinion, and after seeing prior reviews went to Prestige and was told that the housing leak was so small that we should wait and keep and eye on it Chris also said that with the model car that I had, the housing rarely had to be replaced and that a new gasket was probably the issue. That would be more than half less expensive. He did recommend a couple of things I should do,which I did. Also told me that it was not needed to do a fuel system flush because of the fuel I have been using. Great service, and I will be back

Prestige Auto has taken excellent care of my 1976 Mercedes Diesel. They are very communicative and helpful, and spend time explaining the repairs theyve done and the repairs they recommend. Their prices are fair and reasonable, and they have a few nice dogs hanging around the office. I highly recommend!

Prestige is excellent to work with. I have an older BMW 3 Series that is starting to show some of its age. Prestige always gives me great advise on what needs to be done, why, and better yet - what doesnt need to be done. My car is in great shape and well taken care of by Prestige. Added benefit is they are also very reasonably priced.

They maintain our two Mercedes, my sons Mercedes, and our daughters next month after her disaster at the dealer. Find a good mechanic and half your worries are over.

I recently purchased a 2010 European vehicle and suspected some maintenance issues needed to be addressed. Took the car in a few weeks back for an alignment. Turned out I needed to replace a parts in order to get the alignment done. I replaced the parts myself and re-scheduled another alignment. Always professional and up front, Salem’s best Indy BMW shop hands down.

My experience at Prestige has always been positive. I own two older Mercedes and as they age they frequently need repairs outside the normal oil changes. What I appreciate most is that Prestige helps me prioritize my repairs into manageable expenses. As in really need to get this done as it is a safety concern or letting it go will result in additional expense vs: it would be nice to take care of this item when the must do items are taken care of. No Prestige does not have fresh baked cookies like the Mercedes dealership but I can buy a lot of fresh baked cookies for the difference in my service costs! Great people and a clean customer waiting area even without the cookies.

I recently visited Prestige for the first time to have them service my BMW. It was due for an oil change and my brake sensors were showing I needed a rear brake job. I appreciated the way they did an initial visual inspection and we made the appointment for a few days later.The car was ready when they said it would be and they let me know that I didnt need a brake job. I just needed the sensors reset. I appreciate their integrity. Im not sure you would get that at every shop. I will be going back to Prestige again!

Definitely will not take one of my Minis back to Prestige Auto, they may be specialized in BMW but not in Mini Coopers. First it took them over a week to do what they said was a quick fix, had the parts and do it all the time! After a week they said they were half way done ! A few days later a little more than half way, finally they realized they had to remove the turbo to get to the part that needed replaced!!! After two weeks when as always I called to see if it was ready they informed me they were waiting for a part they ordered! Almost another week goes by and Im told that the car was ready but instead of the price they had initially quoted it was considerably much higher! Without advising me first, they should know better!Bottom line, I got the car back and was still running as before, the computer reading the same as if nothing had been done to it. Their only remark was they could not know......PS ...polite

I have always done my maintenance at Prestige Auto - When it cam time for a major repair I could not have asked for a more thorough explanation of what was needed. The service is by far the best customer service I have received at any mechanic shop ever! Do yourself a favor and go to Prestige!

We brought our car to them 3 times. Too trusting on our part! Liked the people but after the 3rd time of us thinking they were trying to diagnose, and them putting 200 miles on our vehicle that they freely either vaped or smoked in, left scratches on paint, wires ripped out, dock damage, no gas upon return, oh and it was filthy... and oh ya, they had to come to our home to get tires and wheels out of our trunk because it was used for Company purposes... Which we were CHARGED for... then asked all over again, even after put in writing, what our concerns were... only left us with a 1 rating... they screwed up our headlights on top of it, ( according to them a $2200 plus charge!!!!!! And when presented with this, they said, we are sorry we could not make this right for us... Holy cow, just say you cannot work on 745s and make it right. We tried to cooperate and be nice, but this was so unacceptable... Chris even said THEY dropped the ball... Thank God for a paper trail... Which I am HAPPY to share here... where he admits it! Got it in writing!!!!!

Chris and the other Prestige Auto guys were wonderfully competent and pleasant. Ive been having my 2011 Mini Cooper S serviced at the Mini dealership in Portland, but no longer. Now that Ive discovered how much better Prestige Auto Repair is (also, so much closer), this is where my Mini is coming for both routine service and repairs.They figured out that my air conditioning wasnt working because of a slow freon leak. After adding dye, Chris said I should come back in two weeks for a visual inspection to see if the leak is still there. I found the whole Prestige Auto Repair experience to be way more satisfying than going to a dealer, because with Prestige you are talking with the person who is actually working on the car, not a service advisor.Plus, dealerships dont have a friendly dog to pat like Prestige does -- another benefit. (This is an option; if you dont like dogs, they can put the dog in a back room.) Plus, plus, the cost of repairing the air conditioning and checking a balky hood latch was decidedly reasonable. I give them 5 stars!

Did an inspection on a BMW550i private party purchase. Rates were reasonable and Chris seemed very knowledgeable and confident with his experience. Received a report as well as a quote for word needed. Quotes prices were better then the Dealer prices for the same work. Id go back.

I love going to Prestige because these guys are like family, only really really damn good mechanics. They give it to you straight with what needs to be done and makes reasonable suggestions for repairs that should be done or could be done while doing the current repair because it is convient and could save you a headache later. This is one of the many reasons why I wont go anywhere else. Mike, Chris, Gary, And David are the best.
