I had a lock on a dispatch case that I asked them to make a key for. They said the lock was broken. When I returned home I took the lock to pieces and it was clear from the dirt inside the lock that no one had even looked at it. The lock was fine. It just needed a key. I called back to ask to speak to the person who looked at the lock. I was told that it was the Manager and that he was not available. When I asked when he would be available they told me they did not know and that there was nothing they could do for me and hung up on me when I was speaking to them. I was very polite. They made no attempt to help me or even be polite to me. About 8 years ago I had a wonderful experience with them when they made a key for a huge silver chest that was 100 years old and very complex but today they are clearly not competent locksmiths. Go elsewhere!

I have used Hayden Lock for over 15 years for my business and personally and would never use another company. They are professional, courteous, and reasonably priced.

They can make you a copy of any key you have. Extremely helpful for rare old keys like the ones for my vintage snowmobiles. Great place and friendly staff

Had to get the lock for my store re-keyed. Gave them a call and told them when worked for us the following day. They were right there on time, offered a great price, were courteous and done quickly. Highly recommend, and will definitely use them in the future.

These guys were great: we had Matt/Marty out to our house. We were told it would be $300+, but he let us know we didnt need to replace, but re-key, our locks, and it costs less than half that. He fixed four locks for us in about 20 minutes. Would definitely use them again.

I was very pleased with Isaac, the young fellow that handled my job. He set me up with just what I needed and contacted me promptly when my work was done. No Hassles, no problems, just professionalism.

They cancelled my appointment that was made day prior. The locks were being changed due to a security issue with someone that could be possible dangerous. They offered a morning time slot. It was already explained that I work during this time and could not get the day off. They said earliest they could do was Monday. As a prior customer that has used them three times in the past with two different properties. I felt let down and dismissed in a time of need. I used to recommend them to people. I will no longer recommend their services to anyone.

Called on a Monday and was able to schedule someone to come out the next day to assess/repair a broken lock, replace some hardware on another door, and re-key everything. Marty called with an ETA and showed up right on-time. Clear communication regarding work to be done, all work completed within an hour, and all working perfectly. 10/10, would definitely use Hayden Safe & Lock again for anything lock-related.

Judging by the service of Matt alone would have gotten 5 stars but the kid who helped my mother when she went in would have gotten them 2 stars.... maybe. Stick with Matt and you cant go wrong in my opinion

Hayden has been the locksmith for our small condo complex for more the 20 years I have lived here. Their strength is emergency responsiveness.Their customer relations are otherwise quite lacking and their is a real problem with their ability to coordinate quotes and repairs to electronic systems which are not handled by the Salem location but handled by a different branch of the family than the team that runs the Salem office.They are somewhat overpriced but not so far out of line to reject them for this reason. Non-emergency service and responsiveness is a severe weakness. Good luck scheduling an appt for a repair... Be prepared to wait all day without an update courtesy call. If parts must be ordered it is up to you to follow up or months could drag by to get the job done.

These folks are fantastic - they were onsite within fifteen minutes of connecting with them, explained what needed to be done for our front door lock ( key was jammed, locking mechanism wouldnt work ) as they did it since were not experts, and finished the job inside of a half hour. Reasonably priced too - would recommend them in a second.

Great place, cut blank key for a 2006 Honda pilot and worked perfectly after moving the remote electronics and transponder from the old, destroyed, fob to the new one. Friendly and very up front about what to expect, reasonably priced too!

Not the cheapest in town but they are the best. Done quickly and right the first time. I manage a public building and dont waste time going elsewhere. They usually have everything in stock.
