This is a must visit humidor if in the area. Saddeh, the owner, is an awesome guy who is very knowledgeable and very nice. One thing of note is that the humidor is extremely clean and organized. I love walking into a nicely set up space. They have a great selection of cigars, most notably Foundation Cigars which include El Güegüense, Wiseman, Charter Oak and Tabernacle.

Honestly the best humidor in the valley service is amazing employees and owner are the best people I have ever had the chance to do business with, well worth the drive to go get good cigars the selection is great the quality is amazing the humidor is managed impeccably

From the second I walked in I was followed and my every move was being watched as though I was a known shoplifter. Even walking in and out of humidor he was right behind me. I made it clear I didnt need any help twice and was just browsing, the second time he replied yep I know. But minutes of being in a silent humidor with the store owner just watching and obviously doing nothing else but that ends up feeling like hours. I asked him if he always just follows customers around untill they leave and after replying with yep I decided to put down the thirty dollars worth of cigars I was going to buy and walk out. I will never be back.

Awesome little cigar and tobacconist shop in the mall, which had been around for many years. They have a wide selection of cigars (if you like those) as well as pipes and pipe tobacco (my own interest), and many accessories. Very clean and comfortable store. Even if you dont smoke, its worth going in for the pleasant smells...

Charges way too much. Most items can be found online and locally for considerably less money. Store is clean. Easy access.

I dont usually leave negative reviews, but heres this one. Ive been to Avva maybe 10 times over the last couple of years. Its an hour drive for me, but they have a really nice selection of cigars. Typically Ive spent $60-$70 each visit. Went up there today, intending to get 6 or 7 nice sticks, since my internet supplied stash was out. The sales guy acted like I was a shoplifter. Im old enough to get junk mail from AARP, was dressed reasonably well, and wasnt actually even touching any items as I browsed... a very uncomfortable experience. I told him I felt like a shoplifter, and left. Maybe he thought I was some sort of protester, planning to burn his wares? ( Well, I was actually planning to burn them, but not until Id paid for them, and taken them home. ) Ended up going to the small walk in humidor at Mobil in Corvallis and getting $65 worth of cigars, I dont think Ill go back to Avva again after that. I miss the other guy that worked there, hadnt seen him in a few visits, but he was knowledgeable and cool.

Started smoking a pipe again last month after a 15 year absence and I needed a new pipe and they have a good overall basic collection. They have about 25 blends of pipe tobacco. They have some fantastic blends from Irish sunset to their own AVVA 1-3. The staff is what impressed me most. They are knowledgeable and very friendly and professional. Stores like this is a pleasure to do business with. I was so impressed that within 1 week I bought 2 pipes and a good 1 1/2 lbs. total of the aromatic pipe tobaccosThe great part of this store is that it is located right on the north face of the Lancaster mall. The place is beautifully set up, the wine selection is pretty good including the honey wine. Cigars, they have plenty to choose from and the employees are gentlemen and very wise in the large selection they have.

Avva has a great selection of premium cigars, pipe tobacco, pipes, wine and accessories. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a great smoking lounge with a TV too!

Stopped in today to grab a cigar for NYE. Told the employee up front that I don’t know what to look for as I have never bought a cigar and he was very helpful. Explained what his thoughts were for a beginner and gave me a few options and gave some tips.Definitely plan on returning and looking forward to trying my cigar tonight!

Been going here for over a year. Staff is great, new guy working there doesn’t seem to know his cigars. They never stay open to their posted hour, seem to close 30 minutes early, which isn’t very convenient for those of who work late. Overall amazing cigar selection.

Went in for pipe tobacco & thought Id try buying locally. The tobacco was really *dry* and made for an unpleasant experience. Disappointing to have wasted money.

Being a pipe guy myself, I was somewhat disappointed that the selection of pipes and tobacco was fairly limited. However, I see what they are doing, and if you are looking for a good place to buy cigars or a nice wine I would recommend it. They do have some pipes and tobaccos, so dont lose heart their either. To be honest, I like the fact that the occasional guy will be smoking his pipe in the shop. It adds to the ambience.I gave it a five because in Salem there are so few quality tobacco shops and its a decent place.

Great little shop. For a small shop in the mall they have a very nice selection of wines at reasonable prices. Cigar selection is huge. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. My go-to place for quality wine and cigars.

If you can get the acetone smell from the nail salon next door out of your nostrils long enough to make it into the humidor, its ok. Wide selection but prices are in the high side - I think the cheapest stick they sell is $8.75. the employees are kinda hit or miss - the hipster guy in the sport coat really irritates me, especially since its obvious he doesnt know anything about cigars. Personally, Id rather drive to Beaverton and have less of a selection than deal with this place (and the odor).

The owner and his staff have been working for years to gain a clientele that is the average Joe. Very down to earth and awesome to deal with, no matter what your cigar knowledge is. Saydeh (the owner) and the many regulars will help you if you need it. The smoking room is top knotch with a large screen tv, cutters and torches for your needs.Definitely the best cigar shop around for miles.
