If you have one morning in Salem to grab breakfast, come here.The menu is small, but that isnt bad because whats on it is executed well. I dont have to ask if everything is house-made because you can tell it is. We got egg/cheddar biscuit sandwiches. The biscuit was fluffy, so was the egg. I dont know how they prepped/seasoned their egg, certainly unique and very tasty.We also got these really neat house-made pop tarts. We visited in the middle of October so they had seasonal decorations on them.Black coffee was great.The establishment is small and made for take away, but theres a perfect courtyard across the street and adjacent to Brew Box. Theres large rocks for prime seating. It completed the experience.Service was also timely. Not too long of a wait.

The coffee is fine. Although, it could certainly be better for the price. The reason that I won’t go back is because of how rude the staff is. They say they are “dog-friendly”, so I was going almost every morning (and tipping very well) until my dog barked once in the shop and someone behind the counter told me he couldn’t come back in the shop because he barked. Certainly no way to treat your regular customers!

Brew box coffee was an eclectic space that provided some break up of the usual and expected in salem. I absolutely adored their decor. The cereal milk latte was delicious but I would recommend asking for some sweetener if you like your drinks sweet. The staff here were very patient and super friendly. I enjoyed chatting with them while I waited on my drink. I was also very impressed with their COVID standards in place as it made me feel safer from the crowds. I would go here again in a heartbeat.

I LOVE this place and Im so sad that I cant come here every day. They have the most interesting and delicious food and their coffee is always fantastic. I dont like iced coffee, but I LOVE their iced coffee. All the staff are also really nice. You can but bags of coffee and they will grind it for you, too!

Top notch coffee for the pickiest of coffee snobs. Im an ex-european trained barista myself from NYC and the coffee was solid. The food was also delicious which I didnt expect at all. The avocado toast was fab and everything was perfectly designed to be easily eaten on the go which was great for a quick lunch in the park nearby. Service was fast and very friendly. Highly recommend.

Delicious homemade unique snacks and lattes

One of the best coffee shops in Salem! They have very unusual for this town interior, what makes them specific.Painted walls took my attention when I almost passed this place, but when I see that I couldn’t just pass it.They almost don’t have tables to eat, just a bar stand along the wall. It you get a sandwich with coffee it is enough. But if you plan to read a newspaper enjoying a cup of espresso, so this place isn’t your choice.They have a big variety of hot and cold drinks, as well as sandwiches, salads and deserts.I’ve got an Avacado toast, a cappuccino and a scone. Everything were delicious. Avacado today was with Avacado paste, a ring of tomato, spices and oils. It is very delicious, I will make the same at home definitely.Cappuccino was great too. Very good sort of coffee and very professional barista!Unfortunately, I didn’t find a restroom. Maybe they have it somewhere behind the kitchen, but I didn’t ask.If you are on the car, there are a lot of meters outside.And, also, they selling their branded T-shirt’s. It is very nice.I definitely will visit this place again when I am in Salem.

I got a got a cinnamon roll that was so sweet that I was ill by the end of eating it, but it was undeniably delicious and I know that some people go for that much sugar.But I also ordered their biscuits and gravy and it was insanely over-salted. Like it is impossible that the cook tasted it before serving it. It was hard to eat a third of it. If you secretly enjoy drinking salt water when you visit the beach, this might be your new breakfast place.

When we heard that this location served coffee roasted by Tandem Coffee Roasters from Portland, Maine - we were sold! My typical order is a small cappuccino, a bag of whole bean coffee, and a snack for the kid. The location is right next to the Peabody Essex Museum, making it really convenient if you’re walking around Salem. The most convenient place to park if you’re driving is the parking garage in the center of Salem.

Some.of the best coffee on the north shore, and their pastries, some of which are gf and vegan, are top notch. Highly recommend the rotating homemade pop tarts and if they have a savory scone when you stop by, youd better try it!

Hands down the best espresso on the north shore. Cereal Milk Latte is worth trying, but dont overlook the baked goods, all house made and all amazing.

Cool and eclectic coffee shop. The Americano was good but the chocolate chip cookie was truly excellent. They have other pastries and coffee items as well. The staff is friendly and really cool. Definitely recommended - best in Salem!

Guy in the front was rude. Tried asking him for his opinion on a coffee and he said in a rude way “please wait your turn” not a pleasant guy

Staff was super friendly, food was amazing. We stopped here since it was one of the only quick places in Salem. We weren’t expecting to have the best meal we’d have our entire 5 day visit. I get biscuits and gravy almost everywhere I go for breakfast and these were easily the best I’ve ever had. My fiancé loved the breakfast burrito so much he immediately got another one before we even left the block. We didn’t try their coffee but those 2 items were so good and only about $4 each. I would’ve paid much more than that for both of them. Looking forward to this place the next time we come back already.

Had decent chai tea lattes and was able to warm it just below lawsuit HOT 😄 which was nice to finally not have to put ice to cool down my drink.

Super friendly folks with good biscuits and nice Iced Chai. Dont come here if youre in a rush, but do come if you want to enjoy a nice simple takeaway breakfast and beverage.

My absolutely favorite cup of coffee! I always get an almond milk latte and its the best! I also love their egg and cheese sandwiches. The staff is so kind and lovely and I always look forward to seeing them!

Mocha was lasting taste, tasted more like a very plain latte there was so sign of any chocolate. Very Disappointed, because I had heard good things prior and saw a line outside.

I love the concept, but the execution is lacking. Great value on the breakfast sandwich (which is DELICIOUS) but the lunch sandwiches are VERY small for a $9 price tag. You can go to another well know bakery in Salem and get a huge sandwich with chips and a pickle for less.

Cute, small shop. The staff is helpful and always very nice. I highly recommend a breakfast sandwich on a biscuit and one of their seasonal drinks. The regular coffee is good as well, and they have milk alternatives. The seasonal pastries are definitely worth a look!

Im from Tacoma, Washington, so I know coffee. This is great coffee. Easily some of the best since I started my tour of the east coast. Mellow, notes of caramel. For anyone whos been/lived in Tacoma, it reminds me a lot of Bluebeards espresso roast. I ordered a quad iced Americano with cream.

We walked into the brew box while we were on our weekend trip in Salem and were pleasantly surprised. It was very adorably decorated and the coffee and food was amazing ! We had some avocado toast which is reasonably priced and so tasty! Love the tomato addition. We also had the cereal milk lattes which were so unique and yummy and the vegan peanut butter jelly pop tart which was a great vegan option ! We will definitely come back if we are visiting Salem again.

I had a latte, well made, great staff. While there is a small counter to collect yourself it is not a sit down place. Perfect to grab and go.

Tried to have their breakfast items, but they were out of eggs. Ordered two iced coffees, one of which had virtually no espresso in it. Literally just tasted like sugary flavored milk. Not impressed

Service was mediocre and sorta over priced coffee in my opinion. I am big into coffee and I have no idea what kinda espresso they were serving. Mind you, we went on Halloween. Staff was ready to get out of there and I don’t blame them. Might be better on another day. I got an iced americano and a rosemary savory scone. The scone was great. They weren’t doing food items probably because of the holiday. Coffee was pretty good tho. Vibe was chill. Staff made it feel uncomfortable. Definitely a locals only kinda vibe. But once talking to staff they warmed up.. a little. Lol.

I ordered an iced vanilla latte and it was a great balance of espresso, milk and syrup. The syrup provided just a hint of sweetness which I prefer to the overly sugary drinks a lot of chains serve. The barista on duty was super friendly and answered all our questions. Would return!

If a coffee shop is hipster Im checking it out, if they serve biscuit breakfast sandwich (sausage gravy on weekends) then they got my heart. It helps too thats its a great brand of coffee (Tandem Coffee Roasters)

Excellent coffee and service, I usually go for a cold brew or latte. Havent tried much of the food but had a breakfast burrito from the monthly specials and it was great.

The homemade vegan poptarts are delicious as are all the items on the menu. I cant express how good the food and drinks are at BrewBox. The service is excellent as well!!!!

Got back to me right away -And after hours even!!!! - regarding a box of coffe for a morning meeting with several people. Very happy with Brew Box and glad I didn’t have to go to a coffee and donuts chain to bring coffee to my people!

All of the staff was super nice, but this coffee was not tasty. I ordered a red-eye, black, and my husband ordered a caramel apple, apple cider latte. Both were near impossible to drink due to flavor.
