The food was really good and I cant fault it or the genuinely good vibes every time Ive gone in. My only caution is if you order online, use the Special Instructions section to reiterate what your order is. I dont think the website catches all the important details. I have twice ordered a wrap, todays was the roast beef, and when I got back to my desk I had a sandwich on white bread. I dont fault the folks - I fault the technology. Just be sure you confirm what you ordered. Otherwise, this place is always solid. Ill be back.

These guys are awesome, though the hours of operation is considerably less than before due to covid restrictions, they remain open, friendly, and always considerate of their customers requests. They also gladly will make anything custom they have ingredients and equipment to make, its awesome, Ive had them make me things Ive only been able to get at home!

Great coffee and atmosphere! Breakfast foods, sandwiches made to order, pastries, and homemade cinnamon rolls on Wednesdays! I didnt know about them until they hosted Joey Nations kickoff for the 5th Congressional District. Thanks for being patriotic, when downtown I will stop here for coffee!!

I never noticed this coffee shop just on the other side of the bus depot. Had to give the chicken club a shot, as thats my sandwich of choice to tell me if its worth while. Man, the only thing that disappointed me was in myself only getting the half and not the full. So good, now Im excited to try their coffee or fresh cinnamon rolls(wed only).

Attended Coffee and Common Sense with Joey Nations for Congress and then marched to the Capitol for the Defend the 2nd rally. Great crowd at both events. Capitol Coffee has a very friendly staff and great coffee.💜

What the owner is doing is simply amazing. Great coffee selection and a willingness to bring in other roasters to celebrate local roasters.The food selection is great. The menu is a real pleasure but the specials keep you coming back. Oh and the cinnamon rolls, forget about it, the most amazing cinnamon rolls ever.

Espresso was not the dark rich roast I was looking for but the staff was super nice. They even made me a breakfast sandwich after breakfast hours. I see why it has such high marks.

I rarely leave reviews on Google, but I cant help myself this time! They were open later on Election night, and with the exhaustion from my work day and the anxiety yet to settle last night, I stopped in to ask if they had cinnamon rolls. The owner (I believe?) was super kind and let me buy 3 cinnamon rolls even though they usually dont sell them until Wednesday morning! These werent any ordinary cinnamon rolls though, there are no words that can explain the deliciousness that is that homemade butter cream frosting and the roll itself was soft and delicious! Im not exaggerating when I say its the best cinnamon roll I have EVER had!!

Staff is super friendly. Coffee is always good. This little shop even has a great selection of breakfast and lunch items to choose from.

Never, ever before have I been welcomed by such warm, friendly service from a comfortably furnished, living room style, fine dining establishment. Nor, have I experienced such a variety of cookies, pastries, parfaits, soups, salads and sandwiches, paired with such an extravagant selection of regular and decaf drinks from everything from plain old Joe, to shakes, smoothies, sodas, and those sweet and decadent iced and hot beverages that all the tough guys look around, and lower their voices while ordering. #Hee-hee-hee!?! Frank and his charismatic accompaniment expertly craft some of the best on-the-go breakfasts, lunches, everything in-between, and even a little after(lunch). They even have local artwork and antique clocks on display, which are priced and for sale!

— DOWNTOWNS HIDDEN GEM —Most people passing through the Downtown Transit Center are unaware that on the opposite side of the building is a tranquil refuge from the havoc of the DTC. The easy access (pass through the hallway from the DTC; or walk around the building) low prices and peaceful atmosphere alone justifies a visit. But what made me a superfan was the quality & flavor of the their products. Especially their smoothies. Capitol Coffee actually makes theirs with fruit puree -(or add vanilla ice cream for a “smoothie shake”)- when more and more businesses are selling “crushed ice & flavored syrup” as a smoothie. THIS WAS THE BEST SMOOTHIE IVE HAD ALL YEAR! yet it costs less than a Starbucks Frappacino does.As Gen. MacArthur once said; “I SHALL RETURN!” Give them a try, and youll be saying it too 😀.

Love the salads this is becoming part of my lunch ritual eating better and feeling better plus a warm and friendly staff.
