Unfortunately, the man who answered the phone this afternoon would not allow me to speak to the manager and hung up on me mid-sentence. Thats ok - I still appreciate Ron!

Saffron hardware has some interesting plumbing stuff. Like these old independent ma and pa hardware stores quite rustic. Little disappointed some of abs fittings i was looking for were sold out. Bins not replenished. No 3x2 double wyes or 2 inch twin double ells.

AWESOME!!! This place has been in business for over 100 years. It is worth the trip just to see the stuff they have. There are 3 floors with things that date back to when they opened. The staff is outstanding and is still owned by the same family. If they dont have it in stock they will get it for you. I am the fourth generation of my family to shop there.

Its been 35 years since Ive had service like I had the other day at Saffron Supply. I was about to call the plumber, but decided to try to fix my washing machine hookups myself. I took in the leaky parts and they picked the washers I needed, removed the broken screws, and repacked the parts. Im sure they dont always have the time, but it was amazing. About 70 cents worth of parts (and a little something for their time) later, and Im doing laundry. Thank you So much.

The best advice in Salem:Rons superb plumbing advice and help saved me digging a new well.Victor is expert in electrical matters.My advice: go to Saffrons, become a customer.It is not the cheapest store but the service is phenomenal.

Customer service was great and they carried a wide selection of uncommon plumbing fittings big box stores like Home Depot and Lowes didnt have. Even better was the prices. Wish I knew about them sooner.

Decent. Asked for help finding something and felt talked down at for not knowing the technical term. As much as I try to stay as local as possible I’d rather go to Ace for better service and selection.

This is a real hareware store.Nuts, bolts, electrical, plumbing, extensive garden tool section & personalized service from knowledgeable people....been there since 1910!!!

Went in with a need for a special faucet plumbing cartridge. The gentleman that helped me was friendly and was able to figure out what I needed within a couple of minutes and part ordered in just a few minutes.

Great place that gets overlooked, they have a lot of things other places dont. And never a crowd.

Saffron is a fantastic old school hardware store. If you have a problem with a DIY plumbing project their staff can help you solve it, they are experts. Their tool selection is not huge or cheap but its all high quality. If you need a shovel that will never break or an axe from Sweden or advice on setting up a large, low psi drip irrigation system this is the place to go.

They have almost everything you can imagine and will order it quickly if they dont.

A classic American hardware store. Live this place! If you need to solve a wierd plumbing problem in an old house or fix a flag pole with plumbing parts, this is the place!
