I am disabled and was surprised by the friendliness of the workers.. I got into the express lane with 3 people in front of me it went very fast. The cashier was very friendly, reminded me about my advantage card. and she helped me unload my items and put them into my cart once they were bagged. I was asked if I needed help out which was a relief since I had some heavy items and a young man helped me to my car. I enjoy this store

Love Giant Eagle, they have everything & more. One & only Grocery store that hasnt changed, very respectful to the elderly & disabled. Customers service was awesome as well. Very clean .....

For several years now, I frequently travel to Salem, Ohio to see family. The Giant Eagle Supermarket in Salem is everything you want in a supermarket, including a craft beer and wine selection that rivals most liquor stores in the area. The folks are friendly, the store is easy to navigate and very clean, and the hours are terrific. For a guy living in Texas, this Giant Eagle is nicer than the HEB Plus! Supermarket we frequent at home.

Live this store. They always have everything I need. And very clean and organized. Not congested like most stores.

I have been using the curbside lately. Great shoppers there. Really nice staff. They are really hard workers and I havent got any complaints. Never have any problems there. I have been shopping there for 20 years.

Very clean, very clean. Top notch produce and bakery. Very good hours (open very early). Made this my grocery store from the day I walked in and was impressed by the cleanness.

I believe its the only place within 49320 Zip code that offers dairy and soy free foods. However, they never have any Beyond Burger.

They had everything under the sun that you could possibly need the services in which they offered poor check out need to be refined I dont care for them when it comes to their check out it would be not much of a stretch to say I would probably prefer Walmart over there check out services and I dont care much for Walmart however I am forced to shop there this is a really good place to buy whatever you need but as for their check out they need a little work

Almost everything you could ask for under one roof for food in Salem. I love their bread and bakery items, although the amount of selections has decreased over the years. So sad.Always a busy place with friendly works and take time to help you.

I went through the pharmacy drive thru. There were 8 cars in front of me. It took about 15 minutes. That is awesome!! Very friendly staff!!

This Giant Eagle store is unbelievable. Its section of meals to-go is outstanding with an enormous variety to choose. The prepared food looks very tasty at excellent prices. This store also has a wide selection of cold craft beers, along with the standards. I wish I had this store in Ashtabula, Ohio.

I went in to shop, wearing my mask. I obeyed all of the arrows and do-not-enters in the aisles, even though half the shoppers dont.....including the employees who are doing curbside shopping. They usually park right in the middle of aisles, so you cant get around them. I kept my distance from others and spoke to no one. I kept my distance in the checkout line and waited for the shopper ahead of me to use the card machine, before approaching the belt. I said Hi to the cashier. Then I made the cardinal sin of not flashing my Advantage Card from directly behind the plexi-glass. I was shocked by the tone she used to snap at me. I was so taken back that I instinctively blurted out Im sorry. I expected her to come back with something like Im sorry back at me, but that didnt happen. After that, there was no concern that my frozen goods were going to thaw in that line.These are very difficult times, and I have great respect for those working the front lines in a store, such as Giant Eagle. These people deserve extra consideration and slack. I also know that I was needlessly offended and embarrassed, and will probably look to shop elsewhere, in the future, for things that are not specific to that store. If I was an inconsiderate person, or a jerk, it would be different. Im sorry if this particular cashier was having a bad day, but I didnt deserve to be treated as I was.

I love our neighborhood GE! Its always clean and orderly, the employees are always friendly and helpful, and they always have great produce! I love the new improved advantage card, my daughter loves the cookie card and loves picking a fresh baked cookie or piece of fruit every trip! Their bakery did our wedding cake this past May and not only was it beautiful but tasted AMAZING!!! KUDOS Salem, Ohio Giant Eagle!!!

Best Grocery Store EVER

Good sales prices r high. This is a great place to get fresh cut meat as well. The meat selection here is wonderful and you can have them cut it to any portion that you want. If you want a two inch thick steak they will cut it two inches for you. And honestly you cant beat the prices on fresh cut meat except maybe at a meat locker or some place like that, so if your trying to get fresh cut, high quality meat while your out shopping for a cook out or just to cook for dinner then I definitely recommend coming here.

They have a LARGE variety of foods, beverages and household products, baby, some clothing, makeup, pharmacy check cashing, ect. You name it... They more than likely have it. They even have a bank inside! All of your shopping needs in one trip. Easy and convenient. Not to mention the Fuel Perks you get when purchasing your groceries. Nice!

I love this small town grocery store. Whenever I’m in town visiting my family I try to make a grocery run just to see what’s new. The deli department as beautiful and has samples that always make me buy them! If I had this is my big city I’d shop at one.

Great grocery store. People complain that they are too high with their prices, but the staff is always nice and you dont have to worry about getting out of date foods, everything is fresh and clean in there. They also have the BEST deli. No other store comes close and they are cheaper than Walmart.

My favorite Giant Eagle. Great wine and beer selection, lots of cheeses, some available for tasting, nice produce, good meat and fish counter. A bit pricey, but great store anyway.
