Great cobbler experience. I took in some old hiking shoes to get a few extra years out of some boots and the stitching replacement and patching was above and beyond expectations. Highly recommended for even the smallest of repairs.

I went to Sam to see if part of my boot could be modified to relieve my heel of pain. I am pleased to say that it has worked and it was done very professionally and you cannot even tell that the boot has been modified which is great. The service was reasonably priced, timely, and all around excellent. Sam deserves five stars and I would recommend him to anyone due to his expertise.

Completely Heeled is a fine place to have shoes and leather goods repaired. The proprietor is a friendly, third generation cobbler. His store is clean, organized and bright. My only nitpick is his cost. To be fair you should give him a try.

Fairly priced, excellent service. Gave him a couple pairs including Bostonian, Aldo, and Johnston and Murphy and he completely brought them back to life.

It’s been about a month now since I’ve had Completely Heeled replace the soles of my Thorogood boots. Money well spent. They feel better than new and look great too. Saved me at least $100 on new boots. With zero break in time.

I brought my Johnston and Murphy Chelsea boots to him for a new sole and some work on the inside, they look and feel better than they ever had. Also, he went through everything he was going to do before and after he did it and made sure of exactly what I wanted. I will be bringing all of my shoes here from now on.

Great places for fixing your shoes, boots, sandals. Yes a place like that does exist in this throw away society. But if you buy a good pair of footwear, which means you paid a pretty penny its worth the investment.

Awesome place they fix my boots in one day

I had some expensive green leather shoes, that i no longer wore, dyed brown. When the brown dye didnt hold up, and I thought the shoes were ruined, I brought them back. Not only was I given a complete refund, but they redyed the shoes black for me. This black dye has a wonderful, natural matt finish and Ive worn the shoes constantly since I got them back. Great place to do business. They stand behind their work, and when theres a problem, go out of their way to correct it.REVISION: .New dye job is flaking so shoes have been returned once again. Twice I have driven 15 miles to pick up these shoes only to find that once they werent ready and once the place was closed. No one called me either time. The last time was recently and I left 3 phone messages and no one got back to me. Over a week later, I finally got a call to pick up my shoes.

Ive been coming to Completely Heeled since they opened at the current location. I have been extremely impressed with his service and the quality of his work. He has repaired or replaced the soles and heels on almost all my boots. I would gladly recommend him to family and friends.

I have a leg length discrepancy—my right leg is a bit shorter than my left. I needed a cobbler to build up the right heels on some shoes and boots and I took them to Completely Heeled based on online reviews and proximity. There I met Sam, who I now count as a friend. He’s a good person who happens to be an excellent cobbler and leather worker as well.Since my first visit, I think he’s replaced heels (and added a lift) on about 20 pairs for me. I know, I have a lot of shoes! All sorts from dress shoes to heavy duty hiking boots. Some with leather soles. Some with rubber soles. Some leather heel stacks. Some rubber heels. On some pairs he has added a half sole on the forefoot as well. He’s fixed a zipper on a leather bag. He’s stretched a pair of boots that had a hot spot. He’s made a custom sized leather belt. He’s changed the buckles from gold to silver on a pair of shoes for me and a pair of sandals for my wife. And he’s given me advice on leather care and products.Im a picky customer but Sams workmanship is excellent. Only once have I had something fail and it was my fault. The half soles on a pair I wear frequently in bad weather started to peel off. I’d abused them by getting them wet and leaving them to freeze/thaw for days (weeks?) in my car. Sam re-glued these and added some nails at no cost, and they’ve held up fine since.He’s busy, and usually quotes me two weeks turnaround time. Once or twice he has had to call and ask for a bit of extra time. That doesnt matter to me. The quality is worth the wait.Stop buying disposable shoes and fake leather goods. Quality shoes/bags/jackets are more expensive but look better, feel better, and with a little care will last many times as long. Buy quality shoes and when they need repair or reconditioning, go talk to Sam and tell him you read my review!
