I had the best experience buying my vehicle from Salinas Valley Ford. I bought a 2021 Ford Bronco, my sales rep was Bob. He was a pleasure to deal with and worked with me for several hours to get me an awesome trade value for my car and an awesome price for the Bronco. $400 dollars to connect a sensor and tell me that I have transmission problems. Then they want another $5000 to fix the problem. This is the last time I go to this dealer.UPDATE: After paying Ford $400 to connect a sensor reader, I took my car to a local transmission center. They took a look and recommended a $150 maintenance service, which took care of the problem. Three months later and no issues. Ford wanted me to pay $5000, when all the car needed was a transmission fluid change and service. DO NOT take your car to their service department, they will rip you off!!

I visited for service only and cant say anything about their sales side. The oil change was inexpensive and offered a tire rotation and a visual break inspection. It was quick, and the people who helped me both on the phone and in person were very helpful and kind.

Went in to purchase some car parts and a key fob (remote for doors and trunk). For the car parts they were nice and courteous and helped me find the parts I need and also showed me what some parts looked like that I wanted to replace but didnt know what they looked like. However when it came to the key fob a person made an attempt to help me for 5 minutes and after said 5 minutes he walked away to consult with a few others and made it appear to be a big deal as to why he could not program they key fob after trying for another 5 minutes. He then said there was an issue with my car and that they would need to service it. I asked the rate to which he replied we charge $70 dollars every thirty minutes. which is outrageous to charge for programming a simple key fob. Anyway I walked away disappointed especially because, when I tried to program the fob it took only a single try. Because this place had such great difficulty programming a simple key fob (and blamed the fault on my car) I will never be taking my vehicle to be serviced by this location ever. And I suggest you dont either.Two stars for the honest parts department. And thats it. And as for that service department they should hire people that know what they are doing cause I am not gonna pay for people to waste my time.

Over the past few months, my car has had all kinds of little strange issues that needed attention quick. I tried to save money by taking shortcuts and letting someone else fix this or that. Still I wound up having to take my vehicle to the dealer and get it fixed far better and with no hassles. It seemed at first like the dealer was going to cost me way more but when I finished my experiment, it was about the same. This time I went to the dealer to get my 3k mile tune up. They did a great job and my little car is so much happier! Shes purring like a Serengeti animal! Haha! Saying that because thats what Im watching on TV right now. I hope you get my point and trust your dealer. If you live in the Salinas area and have a car that needs attention, keep it running well by simply making an appointment with Salinas Valley Ford. I visited to starty new car search. I felt zero pressure from Rudy, the knowledgeable salesperson. He showed me several different vehicles, and although I had made it clear I wasnt ready to buy, and I was concerned about wasting his time, he insisted I had to test drive the ones I liked to really get a feel for them. He was right because they do feel different when you drive them, bit I just didnt want to waste his time. He was wonderful, and I will buy from him if a Ford or Lincoln is my choice.

My story: I made an appointment for the regular service and fix my (A. C) system, the time for the appointment was 9:00 am. They told me that it shouldnt take longer than three hours to have ready my car, because there were some customers before me, and they had to figure out what was wrong with my (A.C), I agreed and went home. By 1:00 PM I didnt receive any call, so I called them. They told me that no one has worked on my car yet, but my car was next, I was upset, but decided to wait more. By 4:00 pm I called again and received the same answer No one has been able to work in your car, but your car is next I told them I was going to pick my car.(I swear its true what Im about to tell you)I didnt take 30 minutes to get there, when I arrive at the main office the girl tells me that my car is ready. I was shocked! How its possible? I told the lady: So, you are telling me that you did the service to my car, diagnose the (A.C) problem and fixed it in less than 30 minutes and you are going to charge more than 300$? The lady turned all red, I was so angry. And if you are guessing that all the work they did in a rush was defective, you are right, they didnt fill the oil completely or rotate the tires or check the other fluids or wash the car. And obviously the (A.C) failed again. That was the last time I went there.

Somehow, the keys disappeared from our old car. After checking around to see how much a locksmith would cost, we decided to just go to the dealer and see what they could do for us. I am very glad we did. The Salinas Valley Ford dealership. Representative did a wonderful job finding the right key. They ordered it and called when it shipped out to them. Because my husband was in the hospital, it was necessary to leave them on the dealer lot until it could be retrieved. After about a week or so, we were able to retrieve the car. It was a bit costly, but well worth it.. We love our local Salinas Valley Ford dealership!

I recently found the car I had been looking for (for 2 years) at Salinas Valley Ford. Its a 2005 BMW M3, in pristine condition and at a great price. Since I live in Charlottesville, VA (some 2800 miles away), I had to rely heavily on Ben Ramirez and Bryan Graves. Both were amazing to work with and made an otherwise stressful experience fantastic. Buying a car so far away without laying eyes on it or driving it is very risky. The honestly and straightforwardness provided by their team is something I will not soon forget! Outstanding Service Department Well first of all i dont speak English, but a friendly young girl that works in the service department asked my wife if she needed help. We came in because my car had a clutch recall. This young guy by the name of Anthony Andersen helped me. my wife needed loaner Vehicle he offered to give her one while they worked on her fiesta, to me that speaks on its own. Someone going out of there way to help a customer. Excellent service would definitely recommend it

Great service and treatment from the entire staff. These folks know how to help buyers/leasers get into a new car without putting you through the ringer. The majority of communication over model, style, features and monthly payment was done over the phone and via texting. The only visit we had to pay to the dealership was to finalize the numbers and sign the financing. No pressure, no BS, no after-the-fact costs or fees. The out-the door monthly payment we were quoted over the phone was the same figure on the paperwork we signed. Lastly, all the staff were polite, very accommodating, and eager to see we got the best deal Ford was offering on our car. All in all, this was by far the best car purchase experience Ive had in over 50 yrs. of car buying. Highly recommended!

Spent several thousand dollars at different shops in Monterey county. This is definitely the only place Im taking my Ford 7.3l. Not only did they catch a recall that another Ford dealership didnt, they cleaned my dirty turbo and resealed it even when I said I couldnt afford to rebuild the turbo. Best mechanics and service staff. Dont take your Ford anywhere else.

We ❤ our customers. Is what they claim. But I learned that only if you buy ford amd bring in ford to be serviced. I have been buy from ford for quite along time. Three frod vehicles and one used chevy trailblazer. They told me that they would not have chevy tools to fix whatever might be the be the issue. From this experience with service department turning me away once I mentioned what vehicle needed maintenance has disappointed us and changed our feelings of staying with ford for the next purchase. Our daughter is almost sixteen and we were planning on getting a new vehicle after finishing pay off our third vehicle off within two more years. But we are now goinging to another brand for our next purchase. Overall the ford dealership is an awesome buisness that has freindly and understanding employees, just wanted the service department to make me feel as they way the statement they have posted. We ❤ our customers. Just my experience with the service department, ford dealership is a great dealership to purchase from.

Went to this place and bought a used car for my grandmother. Paid cash in full. Told the finance guy when I was doing all the paperwork that the brake light is on and I want that fixed. He said that the car has been through safety inspection and if there is something wrong they will fix it. Called them 2 days later and had set up a time to take the car in. They took it to the GM dealer and have them fixing the problem. They even gave my grandmother a loaner car until hers was fixed. Great place that will take care of their customers. Came in On a Saturday for parts. One guy working, waited 20 mins while he helped someone fix a mirror on the parts counter. He finally acknowledged me, gave him my VIN number and very specifically told him the one part I need. Told me to wait, walked in the back and answered 3 parts phone calls while I was still waiting at the front counter... Writing this as I am still waiting, he’s now dealing with the techs at the back counter and I’ve been here over 45 mins... Of I didn’t need a factory part today if possible I would’ve left already...

(update Sept 2018)They gave the car back and didnt even fix it.... They said there is nothing they can do because I cant afford a new engine and my warrenty wont cover it. .... They said the car can still be driven safely so I did.... In August the transmission went out and the battery died... The car is not sitting in my parking lot because I cant afford to fix it ... Worse car I have ever owned.July 2018Worse experience ever... I bought a 2014 Ford Fusion on January 31st. Everything was perfect and it ran great, until May 9th when I brought it in for an oil change. They could not perform my first oil change because they found antifreeze in the oil..... So they asked if they could find the issue and any potential damage. It has been a month in the shop and a complete tear down of the engine. The car need an entire new engine and they said my warranty will not cover repairs because they cant find the cause of the problem. On top of all this they are blaming me saying i put the antifreeze in the car, as well as saying someone else might have done it. Now they want me to pay for the cost of installing a new engine in a car I had for less than 4 months and less then 1000 miles.

I Will never in my life buy another car here. They sold me the car at the price on the price tag. They did not want to negotiate with us, didnt lower the price not even $100. We took it after we looked for it in all the car dealers around and no one had the car I wanted, we didnt have other choice but to buy it from them. Do you research because on top they didnt want to negotiate the price they add a bunch of stuff that you not even need, we took everything off and saved us about $1000, that made them even more upset. We were unhappy, they were unhappy about the process.

Ive been going to Ruben Reynoso At Salinas Valley Ford Lincoln for the past 2 years, the one time I decided I would go to a different dealership that was closer to my work I absolutely regretted it and came running back to Ruben at my next service. Their waiting lobby is open and comfortable, they have free WIFI and offer some drinks. Ruben keeps me informed on everything thats going on with my car - he understands my financial situation. The worst service experience of my life. Im not really sure where to start. I have a Lincoln MKZ that is still under warranty and made an appointment with the service department at Salinas Valley Ford Lincoln for a recall and for an oil change. I dropped my car off and was really disappointed by the attitude of the service rep. As if getting my car serviced was an inconvenience to her. It was strange. I spoke with her a about a small tear in the undercarriage of my car and asked if they could cut away a small piece of it that was hanging down. Something that another dealer had offered to do for me, but I had just gotten the car and was unsure what they were talking about. Anyhow, I returned to pick my car up and when I left the dealership there was an extremely loud thunk and a very loud rattle. I pulled to the side of the road and couldnt see anything. I got back in and drove back to the dealership at about 5 mph. Dropped it back off. This was the first service Ive ever had on this car. I called the following morning and asked the service rep not to drive the car without looking at it because something was very wrong. She told me she was going to drive it with her service guy. Not OK. She later called and told me it was just a loose bolt. Also, a lie. It was FAR louder than just a loose bolt. Also, she had removed my entire undercarriage. I have employees, and I work a lot. I bought the Lincoln because there is supposed to be better service. I have no idea what damage was done to my car. Worse, there is rattle and vibration in the car if I go over 60mph that was not there before I took the car in and they are telling me they cant get me in to fix it for 3 weeks.Save yourself. Do not take your car to them. Dont trust them.

Went there looking to buy a vehicle, they showed me 2 and then just lost interest and just told me to contact them if I was ready to buy. Returned ready to buy with my trade in and the same thing happened. Took about 20 min to get a sales associate to help me. Looked at the cars I wanted but for some reason they thought I was not ready to buy. I left and went to The Ford store in Morgan hill and purchased my Focus st there with no hassle. This was the second attempt first time I was going to purchase a flex and same issues. That is the reason I do not buy locally.

I purchased a 2015 F-150 from this dealer in January and the sales team was very good. I have had an issue with poor MPG (only 14.9 ave) and I called Ford in Detroit and they gave me a case # and instructed me to take it to the dealer to have it looked at because it is not even getting the minimum (17mpg). I made an appointment to the service department and it was unorganized and nobody seemed to know what to do. Why make an appointment if you have to wait for a half hour to be checked in? They called the service manager to explain that they have no way to test the vehicle and can;t do anything for me. He tried to explain several scenarios of why the poor gas mileage and just seemed irritated to talking to me. Because of my experience with your service department I will be taking my business to the seaside Ford dealership and I will encourage my friends and family to do the same.

Just bought a 2017 Escape.Was very disappointed that it took 4 hours to complete the transaction.Spent about an hour with the salesman to agree on terms. OKWaited almost two hours to see the Finance person! WhySpent about an hour with the Finance person signing papers. OKThis is unacceptableThe Salesman and Finance person were excellent.The two hour wait between seeing the Salesman and Finance person was unacceptable. There was not that many people in the dealership and Management did not seem concerned about the long wait and could not offer a free oil change to compensate for my long wait.This is the forth car I purchased from this dealer and never experienced a wait like this.

There are three major Ford Lincoln dealers reasonably close to me and I ve found Salinas Valley Ford Lincoln to have the best service. Not only is the mechanical service thorough and precise, they also treat you as a guest; and, unlike order Ford Lincoln dealers who promise to wash your car but don t--SVFL has never failed to deliver on this courtesy. As a customer service professional I know good service when I see it, and I am happy to give SVFL my highest recommendation.
