I entered the store today . There were two people who work for the store . There was a costumer also. I stand there for a bit but nobody bothered to ask me if I was looking fir something . I felt so unwelcome . These people ignored me. I’m not sure if this is a racial, discrimination .

Just found this bike shop today, they are a life saver!! My son broke the buckle on his helmet and at his birthday party in two days he is getting a new bike. I could not find any in the big box stores of a good quality. On a whim, I checked to see if any local stores were open now that the lockdown is loosening and this one is. They had a decent selection and the three gentlemen that worked there were very friendly and helpful. My son is super happy with his new helmet and his party is saved!! 10/10 service, my new first choice for bike related items, and would highly recommend.

Valley Bikes has limited parking.Best to park on street or public garage less than one half block from shop. This is a small place.Fella I spoke with was knowledgeable, dispelling several misconceptions I held concerning various bicycle sizes.Still, he tends to over simplify his explanations at the risk of coming across as a bit condescending.Example? He assumed I do not know the difference between radius and circumference. The bicycles available here appear to be durable and of high quality.Though I can afford any bicycle in his inventory, the least expensive is priced higher than Im willing to spend on a bicycle. So looks like Ill be shopping for a big-box bicycle. On the plus side (for me);I can take a big-box store bicycle to him for assembly. In doing so, I feel certain the bicycle will be assembled correctly, thereby able to perform at its best.I recommend Valley Bikes. Also, not once did he try up-selling me.Oh yes... should this interest you, Im shopping for a bicycle presumably built for off road use thinking it will perform well for a casual, urban only, fair weather rider.

Took my bike in recently and was told it will take approximately 3 weeks to get serviced. Dont mind one bit cause I know its going to get done right by some good knowledgeable people. I dont know alot about bikes and when I ask questions they dont make me feel uncomfortable like that other shop close by. Highly recommended

First time going to Valley bikes. Kenny was knowledgeable and friendly. Got straight to the point and did the work with no nonsense. I took the bike back thinking the derailleur adjustment was not done correctly but it turned out my back wheel was loose, making the gears change awkwardly. He went the extra mile to look at other possibilities, and did not charge me for taking it back a thesecond time and checking the other possible problems. Axle was friendly too. Bottom line, I would recommend Valley Bikes. As soon as you walk in there is a posted sign with the price of the most common repairs and or tune ups so you know upfront before even talking to anyone how much your repair/tune up visit will cost.

Went to Valley Cyclery on our way to Carmel with an out of true wheel. Kenny alerted me to the impending splitting of my wheel (preventing an accident) and generously gave me tremendous advice about what kind of Wheel to buy that would keep me safe. He is a master diagnostician of bicycle problems and a font of wisdom about solutions

#moneydownthedrain - make sure you ask about parts, that they are not more expensive than what you paid for the good deal on a used bike.
