I have been looking for a specific piece for my drum set for about two Months and I thought I would have to go all the way to Gilroy just to find it. Salinas music 123 is a great alternative to having to travel anywhere else. Very affordable prices and a very diverse lineup of products and the help there is phenomenal. Most definitely will be coming back

First of all, Music 123 is definitely better with their customers than the Monterey Music Store.(Monterey Music Store would get 0 stars from me tbh.)But ultimately heres my honest opinion on Music 123:Its about an average musical instrument shopEmployees seem more interested in their phones and theres 1 employee that knows very little about electric guitars when asked if they had certain items or if they can special order an item.Tbh Id still stop by if I was in an emergency and needed strings or any accessories in a hurry on a Monday (when Wise Music is closed.)I prefer to buy local, so maybe Ill give this shop another chance.Until then, Im gonna have to give you guys 3 stars.(The main thing that kept me from rating a 2 was your selection of guitar and bass strings!)Maybe my next visit will change the rating.Im really hoping so. You guys got great potential.My update could be a 4 or even a 5 star experience. But we will see.This is just my honest experience and opinion.

Nice customer service and variety of guitars.

I have gone in there 4 times in the last six weeks. Recently, I took up the trumpet again after being away from the instrument for 30 years. I bought myself a student model that has worked well these last few months but now I am looking to upgrade my trumpet from the student model to a King Silver Flair 2055t. As I stated above, I have gone into this establishment several times, explained what I was looking for and was told someone would call. Nobody ever has. With customer service like this, I find it to be simply amazing that they are still in business. The only reason I gave them one star is because I cant give them zero....You say that you have tried to call me but yet there are no messages on my phone. I will not contact you again and I certainly will not ever be back in your store.

Rude service. I called to ask about lessons. I asked about a certain type of lesson and he said we dont offer that and before I could even ask anything else he hung up! Rude! That wasnt the only type of lesson I was looking for.

Bad service! ....... what a disappointment, before there was another friendly staff that helped you! The new doesnt even greet you. I was going to buy a guitar with an amplifier but for bad attention I went to another place, I would never go back to that place, they have to attend to the customers well.
