Online booking with Conor “Juice” Nolan was fast and convenient. I arrived for my appointment right on time and was immediately greeted at the door with a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. “Juice” invited me to take a seat for what would become one of the best barber shop experience I would have. With minimal description of how I would like the cut to transpire he knew exactly what would be best. The fade is spot on, The trim around the ears was perfect, and the hard part absolutely in line with my hairs natural flow. The attention to detail was flawless. Multiple hot scented towels were applied as I got a wash and rinse that left me feeling warm and pampered. Before finishing off with a quick straight razor line up on my neck and beard (that was also perfect) I was treated to a upper back and neck massage that loosened the tension built up from the week’s vigorous activities. I was then offered me a choice of aftershave or cologne to carry me through the rest of my day not only looking fresh, but smelling fresh. Conor “Juice” Nolan did not only meet my needs but far surpassed what was expected from the moment I walked in until the time I left. A true barber and master of his craft.

I’m a repeat customer at City Barber. Like most places, people come and go and I’ve had the pleasure of working with several of their barbers. My most recent haircut was a specially precise and amazing. Almost a month later I’m still getting compliments. “Juice” did amazing job and I just want the world to know! Like a true barbering professional, he cuts to the shape of your head So that the haircut looks clean and natural and is easy to maintain day by day. He just nailed it! Ive been trying to get in for a haircut at City for a while. I finally did last week and it was well worth it. The shop has a fantastic vibe and all the staff are exceptionally courteous and professional. I sat with Juice and he gave me a fantastic haircut and a first-class experience. Everything about it was enjoyable. The quality of the cut, all of the little extras, the professional knowledge, etc. all led to an extremely pleasant and satisfying hour. Ive been here a few times since moving to Salt Lake, and the past two haircuts Ive gotten with Austin have been some of the best ever. Hes super detail oriented, friendly, and great to chat with. For a long time I was always hesistant to go get haircuts because my hair has been getting thinner over time and Im relatively self-conscious about it. That being said, the past two times that Ive been in, Austin has done a great job of asking questions, listening, and making suggestions throughout the entire process. I always leave enjoying the haircut that I got and feeling more confident than when I walked in. Ill definitely be back in the future-- 10/10 would recommend. Absolutely worth it!

What I love about George Michael is not the amazing haircuts he gives or the attention to detail, its his commitment to customer service and his passion for what he does. I went here for my first haircut since quarantining and I’m really glad I did. This place is awesome. Really hospitable with a fun community vibe. Ashley did an amazing job. I was on business travel in Salt Lake City and needed a fresh cut prior to my sales meetings the following few days. Yelp reviews were good so I made an appointment. I’m a Navy veteran and typically get my cuts at barbershops near military bases.Ashley was my first woman barber. I was a wee bit nervous but she was great.I love the cut and total experience. As I mentioned previously I normally go to military barber so my experience with Ashley was definitely a spa resort experience. If you are visiting town ask about prices so there is no sticker shock. I highly recommend if you are looking to treat yourself.

Went in during the pandemic for a haircut because my last haircut was done by a butcher, not a barber. Turns out City Barbers was just what my hair needed. The professional I saw was Ashley and she was just that. Wash was great and the shampoo and scalp brush was a great touch. For my cut, I feel I was listened to correctly and it was executed perfectly. My hair has odd cow licks and sometimes people do not work well with it, but Ashley did a great job. Only thing I can complain about is price, but going into it I knew what I was paying for; you get what you pay for.

I had always wanted to get my hair cut over at City Barbers, taking some time looking online through Google reviews I decided to get my haircut by Ashley. I got my hair cut by Ashley, and my experience was fantastic. She was very professional, helpful, and skilled. Throughout the cut she made artistic recommendations - a tapered neckline, for example - that I never would’ve considered and will be asking for again in the future. Very clean shop, they keep to the classic “art” of the barber shop which is really nice. Very antique/old school. For the haircut, you get hot/cold towel treatment accompanied by a quick (60 sec) thumper massage, hair wash (with another towel treatment of your choice), and a quick hair styling lesson. Not to mention the best haircut I have ever gotten. Oh and you’ll smell Good with the colognes/oils they use, which I ended up buying. Honestly I felt like the whole experience is well worth it. Juice is my new barber, which coming from me is saying a lot. Hit him up, he’ll work with you. He takes the shape of your head along with what you want into consideration to make you look 💯💯. Took about an hour, so it doesn’t feel like like they want you in and out really quick to fill some “quota” like other shops do. They realize that their cuts aren’t the cheapest, and hold themselves to a very high standard to make sure you look the best you can. Highly recommend. It’s worth the extra cash you’d pay somewhere else.

City Barbers is one of the best - if not the best - barber shops I’ve been to in my adult life. I’ve got my hair cut all over the east coast and west coast yet here I am finding the best quality here in Utah. Make an appointment as this place gets busy but I’ve gone 3 times with no appointment and have got in within an hour. I’ve seen most of the barbers here at this point but Ashley is for sure my go-to. She gives a men’s fade and beard trim like no ones business! Each barber takes a full hour to give you “the treatment”, which includes a wash and scalp massage, along with a massage gun shoulder massage while you get a hot towel cleanse on your face. Literally, a spa treatment for men in 60 minutes for $60 - and worth every penny. If you want a cheap cut and none of the works, go somewhere else! I would spent $100 for this cut, no joke.

Luke has saved me hundreds of dollars on therapy!!He is also a great barber! His attention to detail and meticulous eye is why I come back every other week. He continues to impress me. No matter how terrible I look going in, I’m always a solid 9/10 leaving. Recently tried Luke at City Barbers in salt lake. Was the best haircut and service I have ever received before! This man was not only professional but gave the best haircut I have ever received. Yes, everyone at city barbers is great but Luke was above and beyond what I expected. He was very thorough throughout the cut making sure it was perfect. Traveling back and forth and having two different places to have your hair cut is pretty important!Though hair grows back, finding that barber that wont make you uncomfortable with your cut for 4 weeks can be stressful.1900 miles away from home, I found Peaches ( Morgan ) at City Barbers, the most detailed oriented, professional barber Ive sat in front of. I called to get an appointment for a haircut and the people at City Barbers were friendly and accommodating. The barber who cut my hair, Juice, was very professional, educated and very positive. It was a great treatment for the price and I left looking and feeling great. I highly recommend City Barbers.

Good atmosphere, friendly staff, and while I can’t judge all of them, Blaze was very proactive and a good choice for anyone who desires a professional barber who knows what he’s doing.

Luke is hands down the best barber I’ve ever been to. I’ve never left unhappy and he has my business for life. Over the last decade I’ve been to many different barbers, but Luke is in a league of his own. City Barbers does a great job providing the tools and space to let Luke and the other barbers do their thing. Highly recommend Luke if you’re looking for “your” barber.

Just had my third haircut here by Abi (Baby), she does an amazing job. Found my haircut place for life. I’ve been looking all over for a place that really listens to what you want and she/they deliver. I say they because while sitting there they all are very attentive and really listen to what you want (while working on their own customers of course). The atmosphere of the shop is awesome, very... for not being able to think of a better word, gentlemanly and welcoming. I look forward to getting my hair cut here continually. Thank you Abi.

City Barbers is an excellent place to get your haircut. The store is filled with professionals that are knowledgeable about hair and very talented at cutting hair. Each time I go in I learn something new about my hair and am able to use this information at home to style my hair just how I want it. I have tried 3 professionals in total, Abby, Blaze, and Ashley. I do not know much about hair, and when I share this ignorance with any of these 3 professionals, they are eager to help me through picking a style. Yesterday I got a haircut from Ashley and I can confidently say it is my favorite haircut I have ever had. Abby, Blaze, Ashley, and I am sure all of the rest of the “City Barbers” are very talented hair stylists.

I recently had my second visit to City Barbers and got my hair cut by Ashley. I have a short/pixie style and she did an amazing job cleaning things up and giving me the cut I wanted. The cut was clean, styling on point, and I loved her easygoing vibe and she was awesome to talk to. Can’t beat the hot towel and massage also. This place uses very quality products and the service is exceptional, can’t recommend it enough. I bought their conditioner and it is one of the best products I have ever used.

I highly recommend Jon at City Barbers. He gave me a wonderful full service haircut including shave and shampoo. Not expensive given the service and quality. A very relaxing, pleasant experience. Jon is a real pro: he gave me a great haircut and provided interesting conversation.
