There was a delivery issue (not their fault) and they have been super helpful. I love this company, and the guys at the store are awesome people. Everything has such a high quality. I wear their boots, shoes, pants, shorts, socks, belts, shirts, kilts, aprons, and use their backpacks for everything. Great company, good people, excellent quality. Love these guys!!!

This place is great! They pretty much have everything the online store has, we were just browsing theyre awesome inventory and ended up buying 200 bux worth of stuff! They have all the cool patches you can think of. Store is nicely stocked and neat, very clean and the employees were just super helpful and awesome! Answered all our questions and endsome. I am appalled by how the staff treated me as a customer. I rudely asked to leave the store based on a medical condition that prevents me from wearing a mask.My Company has done business with 5.11 for several years and had a great relationship with the local store.As a Veteran and actively serving I found 5.11 a great place to supplement my military gear.I will not be a customer to a store that mistreated me the Store rep took pride when he kicked me out of the store. The manager did nothing when I tried to talk to her about the issue.Although the items in the store I want to purchase I will not be returning back to this store anytime soon. They were rude and the fact that I was the only customer in the store did not matter the employee still took pleasure in kicking me out of the store.I will never return back to this store and will tell all my customers about how they treat their customers.Update This store still has not reached out or returned calls to make this incident right.

They have a nice theoretical inventory. Nearly everything of interest was out of stock in the sizes most people wear and there was an astonishing amount of inventory in sizes most people dont wear.

I love 5.11 and have a closet full of their clothes and bags. So why the 2 star review? This company has the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. The upside is that you could spend hours in this store and never have to talk to a salesperson. They even seem annoyed when you ask them to ring up your purchases.The website is no better. It routinely takes a week or more for orders to ship. There is free shipping on most orders but I would gladly pay to have things arrive in under two weeks. Half the time, I buy their products from third parties to avoid their poor shipping practices.All that said, I’ll keep buying their stuff. Probably why they don’t bother with caring about service.

Needed new pants for ranch work and scored at 5.11 ! The ladies Defendet Flex are the answer to all my pants needs. Pockets galore without looking like a cargo pant. Fit is excellent, colours are cute and I can even do the splits in them! Great price, so I also got a pair of the Ascents.

If you want quality gear and clothing, youll find it here. It is a brand specific retail outlet, so youll be limited to 5.11 gear, but youll get great stuff. It is not the cheapest place, but the quality speaks for itself.

Very frustrated at the service of this store they were very unhelpful and instead of asking if they could help me as I was the only customer in the store.A larger dark haired male asked me to leave. I explained I had a medical condition that prevented me from wearing a face covering.He laughed at me the female store manager did nothing to stop this behavior. I have never been more insulted in my life.They lost a good paying customer for life. I will not return ever again.

Awesome customer service! I came in having a general idea of what I wanted, but didnt really know where to start. Two younger guys were working there who were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. These guys took the time to answer my questions and found the best products for me for what I was looking for. The gear has been great! Ill definitely be returning to this location next time I need something!

Our Crossfit box had a guys night out to 5-11 to get plate carriers for workouts. Cameron was very helpful and explained all of the features of the carriers. He showed us how to adjust them add pouches to the vests. He kept the store open late to take care of us and even took this picture. I work in law enforcement and I use a lot of 5-11 gear and I am never disappointed in the quality of not only the products but also the customer service that the staff provides.

I was in the store for about 20 minutes looking for tactical work pants. Obviously it’s not hard to find stuff on your own, but the two staff members there seemed far more interested in watching videos on their phone than assisting customers. I’d rather find my pants online at that point.

Shout out to Amanda for her amazing customer service! My friend and I came in looking for boots, and there weren’t any in the sizes we wanted. She got on the phone with multiple stores around the country to find some that could be shipped to us (because they were on back order indefinitely). I’ve purchased gear from this store several times in the past year, staff is very friendly. These one star reviews you guys are leaving for denied entry due to lack of mask is un-fair. Every business has the right to do this for their safety and yours. Although I don’t think masks should be government mandated, I do believe individual businesses should be able to enforce this as they see fit on their premises. If you have a medical condition that would prevent you from wearing a mask don’t sabotage a business’s reputation with a bad review. Order online or not at all.

I went shopping at this location only to be denied entry due to what could only be a power trip by an employee.I was asked to leave due to not having a mask although due to medical issues I cant wear a mask. As a lifetime customer I have never been treated this badly by a employee of the company.I have spent thousands at this location only to be asked to leave due to a condition out of my control.The rude nature of the employees tell me they dont care about the truth and dont care about customers.

Our company has been a very loyal customer since they opened their doors and today was attacked by their employee because I didn’t have a mask on. I cannot wear a mask for medical reasons and even have a letter from my doctor.This employee didn’t care and told me to leave. There were maybe 5 total people in the store and nobody around me by 40 feet. The level of disrespect is not excusable. I am shocked at the level of complete disrespect by 511 and will not be returning.

My husband and I absolutely love this store and 5.11 products. He has several tactical kilts and I have several pants from 5.11 and they are great quality, making them worth the price. Today we went to the Salt Lake store and Cameron was an incredible help to us. He was knowledgeable of all of the products, understanding of our needs, and also provided great customer service. Not to mention, he was funny too! He turned a good shopping experience into a great one and we walked away in a good mood and with a bag filled with goodies that we can’t wait to use and wear. The store is always clean and not hard to find.

Bought a bunch of pants here last year. One of the buttons fell off this year. Called customer service, explained the issue. They sent me a prepaid shipping label, so I returned them and they sent out a brand new pant! Nice to see a company actually stand behind their product. Highly recommend.

This store is fantastic. It is well organized and everything was very neat and tidy. Everyone at the store was helpful. Cameron was the employee who helped me with my purchase, and he was very pleasant and knowledgeable on the exchange policy (since I was purchasing gifts). The stock was a little low on some items, but I attribute that to the fact that the hoodies were on a killer sale. Im very pleased with my experience and I will make sure to return!

Stopped by to visit this store for the first time about a week ago after being recommended by a friend. I wanted to look around and specifically needed a couple pairs of pants. Cameron was more than helpful in helping me find the right pair of pants. I have used them a couple of times now and they have worked perfectly. After finding the perfect pants I wanted to look at what else they had to offer. Cameron answered any questions I had, but I never felt pressured into buying something I didnt really want or need. The product is great, but because of the excellent customer service from Cameron I have already recommended this store to friends and family, and will certainly be stopping by again next time I am in town. Im currently training in law enforcement and shopped here in the past and also looking for some new gear / equipment. They had decent selection of gear and the Staff was also nice and friendly but they don’t offer discounts or deals. I wanted a blue Velcro Flag patch to put one of items 100Bag, $7.00 for Velcrow flag patch to go on the gear that has place for it?. I started using 5.11 10 years ago, back than get a free hat or patch for hats, packs, etc.. I know it sounds kinda dumb but the little stuff like that goes along way, guys like gadgets! I also volunteer with with state, so I’m always in need for more gear. Just no perks for shopping supporting their gear anymore, quality is ok but not like it used to be. I still have my 24 hour pack from 2010 but bought new one las year and already starting to fall apart. Quality is not the same. Store and staff is 4 and the products / company marketing is a 3 anymore.

Always have everything in stock. I love the selection as there isnt anywhere locally that has this gear in stock and at the quality as 5.11. I love their sales as well that they have regularlly. It seems like they have sales just to have sales. No worries as we are the winners.

Action & Adventureclothing, bags, gun gear, etc...I design and make my own clothes and bags and all that. I can tell you their quality is pretty incredible. Tank tough.Yet they also have some really subtle and sensitive designs, for men and women. I come away impressed.

I had 5.11 recommended to me by multiple coworkers and I needed some new boots and pants so thought Id give them a try. I walked in and Cameron immediately asked if I needed any help and then walked me through some of the different types of boots and features of each one. For the pants, same thing. He got me set up with a few pairs to try on and was super helpful in getting me different sizes when needed.Cameron is super knowledgeable about all the different styles and features of it seems basically everything in the store and was super nice to work with as well. I will definitely be going back because the service is great and the products very high quality.

Was a big fan and loyal customer. No more. On Saturday, I stopped by the SLC store, picked up a little over $ 200.00 in clothing. Went to the register and when they removed the hangers, I asked the guy at the register to leave the hanger because I am heading out of town and need to hang vest and shirts in my vehicle. He said they cant do that. I didnt complete the purchase and left empty handed. I Stopped by LL Bean in Park City, made a similar purchase, asked to keep the hangers because I am heading out of town, they said of course. What am I missing? What is so valuable about a hanger at 5.11 that it is worth losing a loyal customer over ?

First of all 511 products are some of the best products out there that you could buy. Secondly the people that work there are some of the best sales staff Ive ever dealt with. The manager there will bend over backwards to make you happy. I have never left that store dissatisfied or disappointed. Cameron and Paul are awesome! I originally went in for just a Cobra buckle belt but then asked Camerons opinion on 2-point slings and he was very helpful and gave me a run down on his experiences with both single and 2-point slings. Then I asked about the plate carriers and he spent at least 15 minutes explaining every detail about that model. Never once did I feel like he was trying to pressure me into a sale. He gave me the info I wanted plus more. I ended up buying the plate carrier and sling just because of him. Even though I spent more money than I planned on I still left there with everything I needed and then some. Will definitely be back!

Wont be back at this store again after years of shopping I was asked to leave this store due to a health issue that prevents me from wearing a mask.After spending over 200 last week this week they now suddenly have a issue with me not wearing a mask.

I know we are in trying times during COVID-19, however the attitude the employee was giving this morning was not acceptable. Extremely unwelcoming and couldn’t answer simple questions regarding their products and differences between them just stared at the computer screen with the most unhelpful answer I’ve received in a retail store.

The quality of the gear is matched only by the customer service. I was greeted by Cameron who helped me find the right size pants since my size is never in stock. He dug around and found me everything I needed that I couldnt find in the store. Awesome service!

If you need tactical gear, you should go here. The staff is great and really know what theyre talking about I purchased a pair of boots and a great pair of combat pants. they didnt quite have my size but they will order them to the store and you can try them on before you buy them. their knives are great as well as simple things like the belts. They also have plate carriers that seem fantastic and a little bit of hunting gear. I would be surprised if i had to buy another pair of boots within the next five years. However, they are a bit pricey. I spent around $200 for the boots and pants so if you need some gear come with a bit of money in your account. Its well worth the cost for the quality and welcomness of the staff, so if you can afford it I would highly recommend.

Not a tacticool dude, but the pants here are great. I work in an office near the hills and hike for lunch. The pants here have stretch and strength and that means a lunch hike is possible. Then back to the office without looking too casual.My only complaint would be the staff. They are very busy even though the store is empty. You can go at it alone though, so this is a minor complaint.

The sales team was very helpful when my wife told me that I needed to update my look after 20 years in the same style of jeans. I found a few pairs of Defender flex jeans in the straight leg and a few with tapered legs. They are now my “Tactical Skinny Jeans”. Thanks guys!

Other the the overly high prices a great store. But 5.11 being what it is I wouldnt expect much lower in price. They do have some sales and they are great deals. The staff will take the time to help you with what you want. Be it a pair of tactical yoga pants or a wolf gray plate carrier.

Nice boots but spent 30+ min in an empty store without being approached by any sales staff whatsoever. Waited 5+ min at the checkout before anyone showed up. If I had wanted to shop without staff I would have gone online. Next time Ill go elsewhere.

What I enjoy most about store are the staff that have a very detailed knowledge of the stock. They know everything about 5.11 products and I makes me smile at how much they want to tell you about it. Take Cameron, we talked for 30 minutes about the selection of shoes and tactical gear. I learned a few bits that will help me pick the right equipment down the line.

I’ve been in a few times and although I’m sure all of the employees there are great I’ve gotten lucky enough to work Cameron every time I’ve gone in. He’s awesome! He knows just about everything on all of the gear there. Due to some poor planning on my part I wouldn’t have some of the gear I needed for a class in time. I ran in to the store and Cameron was there o save my butt. Big ups to that guy.

My eco 8 desert coyote are the best boots Ive ever owned hands down I got boot allowance from work last yearbive worn my boots almost every single day since then Ive had no issues I honestly thought that zipper or the stitching around the zipper would work its way off sooner but still 9 months later and nothing I work construction so the cushion is amazing cant wait to buy another pair thanks 511

We walked in Mon 27th at bout 130. 3 people working, they hardly acknowledged us. I had to go to counter to ask questions and still no offer to assist us in finding what we were looking for. 2 other customers came in behind us and they were much more friendly and helpful to them. So we left, wondering if being a black and white mixed couple had anything to do with their RUDE customer service.
