Awesome place to buy a car. Greg Rolfe made buying a car during a pandemic totally seamless and pleasant. It’s been 10 years since I owned my last Toyota, and I had forgotten how much Toyota takes care of their people. I’ve already had my new car serviced here for window tinting, etc., and I’m happy with everything. Go here for a new car and Toyota service. You will be happy!
I usually don’t take my vehicles to this place and my first time will be my last time. I’ve felt my brake pedal was soft for a while and I had another shop confirm it. Had a family member refer me to This dealer and thought it would be a good place to go. Told the gentleman that the brake booster was replaced in 2016 and we were curious if the master cylinder would help firm the pedal up. I got my report not even two hours later with a bunch of recommendations other than brakes. Some parts they recommended I just had done 10k miles prior to taking it in. Their “master tech “ said the pedal felt fine but after driving another 4runner 2 years newer but same motor and everything this confirmed my brake pedal definitely is soft and my wife almost got into an accident because the pedal is so soft. Wife and I felt extremely dismissed with our concerns and we won’t be going back or recommending them to anyone. Decided to go back to the shop that will listen to our concerns beheld us out. Star boys in Draper for the win!
Had an incredible experience here, absolutely a customer for life. Got a new 4Runner at a very fair price during a turbulent time. Friendly sales team, low pressure environment, helpful concierge team and a trustworthy and engaged service department. James was a friendly polite and engaged salesperson. Really cannot say enough good things. If I ever need another Toyota I will be back, unfortunately for them they’re so reliable it might be awhile!
I just bought a 2021Tacoma and couldn’t be more happy with the whole experience!Paco was my salesman and took very good care of me. He is friendly, easy to talk to and has a great sense of humor. Mike also made sure that all of my needs where meet, which wasn’t easy as I had several demands. I would highly recommend them and the whole Mark Miller team, and will to anyone who asks. I will definitely do business here again as the entire process was smooth and seamless, which is not the norm with most vehicle purchases. Thanks guys!
This was the best experience Ive had with any Toyota dealership in the 6+ years Ive had my Prius. Quick to help me troubleshoot over the phone, and then able to get me in same day. They tried to reprogram my key fob so that I wouldnt have to buy an entire new one if I didnt have to. Ultimately I needed it replaced, they had the part shipped over night and they were super efficient when I came in for the service. Cost was a little less than I was originally quoted, which is always a pleasant surprise. Ocean was particularly helpful and kind.
These people are awesome they fixed my wifes car gave us a loner and treated us like royalty thank you!
I bought a new truck here, and it was a very smooth and pleasant experience. There were no surprise fees -- I was charged the price I had agreed to over email. All the folks I talked to today were honest, friendly, and efficient.
I recently purchased a jeep here, I worked with Jayden Montoya. He was extremely helpful, friendly and easy going, excellent customer service. He was not at all pushy with me, which is hard to come by when buying a car. He got me into my amazing new car and made the process very comfortable and smooth! I worked with Shawn Borba for my financing and he was great as well! Got me financed with a great interest rate, and was very informative and not pushy with the extras. I loved my experience here!!!
Last week my wife and I decided to sell our car. We had purchased our Tundra a couple years ago from Mark Miller Toyota and were very pleased with the service, so we figured wed return there to sell our vehicle. It was here where I met Mr. Lyle Mitchell! If a better salesman/customer service stud exists, I have yet to meet him/her. Im skeptical, but if humans can put a man on the moon I suppose there could be a better employee than Lyle... Joking aside, Lyle made a lifetime customer of Mark Miller Toyota. He was kind, worked hard and quickly, and even drove me back home (35 minutes away) after I sold them my car. He put customer service above all else and I cant thank him and Mark Miller Toyota enough. Historically, Ive hated going to car dealers, so if youre like me, and in the mood to trust an online stranger, give Mark Miller Toyota a try. Make sure you ask for Lyle Mitchell; you wont regret it.
Never ever again will I buy a vehicle from this dealership. Bought a brand new 2021 And notice right after I got it home I noticed some chips in the paint. They said that they would repair it and set up an appointment. The guy who set up the appointment told me that it would be a good four hour job. They set me up with an appointment that would allow me to have a loaner vehicle. When I got there they didn’t have a loaner vehicle so I asked them if they could at least give me a ride somewhere because I was standing there with two toddlers. Then they decided that they did have a loaner vehicle. As soon as I started signing the paperwork for the loaner vehicle my car was magically done within 10 minutes. When I looked at my vehicle in my opinion it looked like they had done a quick spray over and I could see the indents from the chips. This is the first brand new vehicle that I’ve ever bought. I spent a lot of money on it and If I was going to buy a brand new vehicle I wanted the condition of it to be brand new. They basically told me that there was nothing I could do so when I left I called the dealership to find out if anything could be done. They said that they could fix it completely if they sent it to a body shop so they would just need to set up a different appointment. I showed up to the next appointment on a Monday where they had told me that it would be done before Friday. I called again today and they are now changing that day to Monday which means I’m losing a $1000 because this car is used for business. They gave me no options to rectify this and I feel they’ve done nothing but feed me lies since my purchase. Never ever again with them. Please choose a different dealership as they don’t follow through. I also called other body shops that have verified the job they did should only take 2-3 days. At maximum my car should have been done already.
I dont like to be the type of person to post bad reviews, but I feel I need to share my experience with others. I will say, albeit that I had a terribly frustrating experience - they tried to be understanding and did apologize for the service I was provided.Back in June 2021 I took my vehicle in due to a scraping noise that sounded like it came from the front right side and my automatic windshield wipers were not functioning. I was called later that day and told that the windshield wipers had been fixed and that the noise from my vehicle was caused by an electromagnetic clutch. That this was a fairly common problem in 2021 Rav4s, however Toyota did not have a fix for this particular problem yet. But that my warranty covered it and they would call me when a fix was available. In the meantime, my vehicle was ok to drive and the clutch would not cause any further damage.A week later a rainstorm hit, and my windshield wipers had not actually been fixed. I had to take my vehicle back in and have them actually fix the issue this time. Additionally, with each visit for normal oil changes, etc. I would ask about the fix for the clutch. Finally towards the end of September I called the service manager to ask why Toyota didnt have a fix for an issue on 2021 models when we were only a few months away from 2022. The service manager asked me to bring in the vehicle again so they could start from scratch and do another check. They called back later that day and informed me that they found the cause and the damage was pretty apparent and now its a collision and insurance issue and not a Toyota warranty issue. The technician assumed the issue was the electromagnetic clutch, however it appears that this is not a problem with 2021 models and was only with the 2020 models and was fixed with the 2021 release. Which is why Toyota didnt have a fix, because its not actually a problem. So for 3 months I was driving around with a misdiagnosed problem, that thankfully did not cause any further damage to my vehicle.I will not be coming back to this dealership for service again, I was given the run around from the start. From my windshield wipers to missing a pretty apparent problem because a technician failed to do their job in the first place. And almost failed to do it again the second time, when they could not replicate the sound, but their service manager easily could. Its also a little thing, but they never asked me if I wanted my car washed, they put Do not wash on my work orders when I would have basic maintenance performed.I have zero confidence in their technicians and service staff and dont feel like I can trust their words or actions. I will be taking my vehicle elsewhere for maintenance and service.
Everyone has different perceptions of what a car dealership should look and feel like. I will walk away from the high-pressure sales tactics and the salesperson who overuses the customer psychology that everything that comes out of the customers mouth is to be fortified and made a positive. I found a good balance in salesmanship with Wayne Roberson and enjoyed my conversations with him. The overall experience of buying a car from Mark Miller Toyota was particularly good and I will go back, when the time arrives, to buy a new Toyota again. After shopping around for the last 3 days, I ended up getting the best trade in deal at Mark Miller and besides, I was going to buy a Toyota vehicle due to their history of high overall reliability. When it comes to customer relations, no other Toyota dealership in the Salt Lake Valley comes close to Mark Miller Toyota.
I have purchased two cars from Mark Miller Toyota. Most recently I worked with Austyn and Jeff both of whom provided an exceptional level of professionalism and skill at what they do and how they got me out of a vehicle that was next to worthless and got me into a 4runner that fit both mine and my families needs! When its time for the third vehicle I purchase I will be coming back to one of the great Mark Miller dealerships in the valley! Thank you again!
A friend and I showed up to get help replacing a windshield that has been broken pretty badly on the interstate. Brian the service manager was helpful beyond belief! He helped us clean up the glass and taped up the window the best he could and even gave us some advice on what to do and he recommended waiting until he could get it fixed but unfortunately we didn’t have the option to do so. He was so kind and friendly! I can say enough good things about our experience.
Quick customer service and friendly staff with outstanding results .
I would highly recommend Mark Miller Toyota to anyone looking for a good reliable used car. We got our Prius C and we love driving it. Our sales person Shantay was terrific and made our shopping so smooth. We didn’t feel like we were being pressured at all into this (usually what happens at used car dealerships). We even came back the next day and our car was fully detailed and cleaned. Shantay is the best and she will make sure to take care of you like family. Definitely ask for her when you go there.
Mark Miller is a fantastic dealership. I felt like they were honest and they kept me informed with my vehicle that I ordered. They charged MSRP when other local dealerships are charging way over MSRP on 4runners. I will 100% go back here the next time I purchase a Toyota. Ask for Kapono he was a great salesman. Good car dealerships are hard to come by, Mark Miller is definitely a good one.
Bought my 2019 Rav 4 from Mark Miller Toyota and have had all the routine maintenance done there as well. It’s about time for new tires, so I asked for a quote on some all terrains and the quote came back grossly inflated($200 more than Larry H Miller). Called back to the Senior Tire advisor at Mark Miller and asked him to match the L Miller price, and after much hemming and hawing he agreed. This was Tuesday and the earliest the tires could be delivered was Friday afternoon, so the appointment for installation was scheduled for Saturday morning. Friday afternoon rolls around and I decide to call and make sure the tires have been delivered, but parts has no record of the tires being ordered. I finally get a call on Saturday morning from the tire advisor that the tires have been delayed and aren’t available anywhere in Salt Lake. This run around has convinced me to purchase the tires and all future service from another dealership.
Edit (8/13/21):I gave them a second shot and they worked with me a lot better. I reserved a car in my name and will be getting one shortly. It took another sales person to explain to me that their reserve money is 100 percent refundable if I dont get car before incentives expire. They did have a car I wanted but a sales person never got back with me or send the promised text. I called again and found a 3rd sales person and reserved the car with him. Good dealership but some of the sales can be a little challenging.Original:I was excited to buy a car at the advertised price I saw online, both on KSL and on their own website. Prices can change. I knew the car I was looking at had a good chance it wasnt even built so I called before to ask questions before purchasing. They told me the car maybe ready at the end of the month. I was sad but okay with waiting and even willing to buy the car right now to have it reserved in my name. I wanted to lock in and agree on the final price, and buy it now. The dealership did not want to do that, they just wanted to lock me in as a customer with money down. After asking more questions I found out the advertised price can change when the car is actually delivered. I wouldnt necessarily call this deceitful, when trying to agree on final price and did show me small disclaimers on bottom of page stating prices can change. This is a nasty bait and switch tactic, especially when incentives or prices on cars that expire even before the car is even built. Basically, they show an outstanding price with soon to be expired incentives for a car not built, lock you in as a unwilling but very loyal customer with the ability to add additional items or change price of car. Maybe I might get the price but Im not ready to throw some loaded dice.
I took my 2021 Taco in for an oil change and the system they have is super smooth and professional.
Went to buy a new car, Dillon showed us 2 cars. A Rav4 and a Highlander. We wanted the Highlander, but it still had to go through their shop, okay no problem we said we would put a deposit to hold it for us until it came back from the shop. He never contacted me for the deposit. Come Monday he sent us a quote for $23,000 on a 2013! I could get a new car for that price. After just a few messages, regarding ONLY the Highlander, he pushes me off to some dude in his finance department that NEVER messaged me like Dillon said he would. Go to show the car to a friend the next morning (I had still been talking to Dillon about the car at 7:30 the previous night) and the car wasnt even on the website anymore. So basically somebody else bought it and Dillon, or whoever in finance never mentioned it. And I was never contacted again. Its really sad honestly. I had a lot of money to put down on a car. Could have made a good deal if somebody would have cared enough to.
Thank you Ken and Sam/Samantha. We went through the car buying experience for months. The experience we had here was a perfect balance of attention by the salespeople, but without pressure. Ken did a great job at working with us, answering our questions, and following up. When he wasnt available, he had other people on his team like Sam help us through the whole process. We did purchase a car from them we been happy with everything from beginning to end.
After them promising us that the car we bought was not smoked in, I now get into the car everyday only being able to smell smoke.Interesting how every time I got to the dealership the windows were rolled down and the car was in the shade. I should have known something was up. Now that it’s warm outside, the heat really brings out the smell.Wont go back.
Mark Miller Toyota is the only dealership I have ever bought two cars from. I have never had a good enough experience with any other dealership to be willing to go back a second time but my experience in buying a car from Mark Miller was quite different. I was hit with no pressure and the salesperson did not play any games with me. I told him what I was after he showed me what met my requests and then we worked through the trade-in and financing details. No bringing his sales manager to me, no pressure.Recently I had a challenge with my second car that was not performing as expected. I will not say that I walked in and they immediately corrected the issue but I will say that as I carefully explained my experience with the car and they reviewed the details and requirements from Toyota they made the decision that having me be satisfied was more important than whether or not Toyota would pay for it and they completed the repairs. The experience confirmed what I have believed about Mark Miller, that they do care about being honest in their dealings with their customers. I would not hesitate to go back a third time.Their service is easy to schedule, timely and efficient. After multiple bad experiences with car dealerships I have found one I feel like I can trust.
Much better experience than Brent Brown💩 Toyota 👍I will be going out of my way to return next time
I worked with Paco at Mark Miller to get a Camry. Great experience. Would recommend them to anyone.
We have purchased 5 cars from Mark Miller in the last 15 years, and have generally had good experiences, both with sales and service. I realized about a year ago that I had mistakenly been bringing my Prius in for an oil change way too often, since I didnt realize the mileage/ date on the sticker was for tire rotations some of the times I came in, not for oil changes. Every time I came in, I got an oil change, whether I needed it or not. Not one of the technicians bothered to explain this, so I ended up paying hundreds more for oil changes than needed. The last person I spoke to about it did the research and confirmed this, but never called me back with the promised adjustment. I never had a tire rotation since I got them free at Discount tires, and had explained that more than once. Ive lost confidence in Mark Miller service. I now need a 12 volt battery for my Prius, but an afraid to come in, fearful Ill be overcharged. Follow up: I got a call after posting this review from John Miller. He was so gracious in explaining the situation with my oil changes, and went over the schedule with me. Fortunately it wasnt as bad as Id perceived. My confidence in my favorite dealership is restored.
I had the ideal service experience there yesterday and cant recommend this place enough. I am a travel nurse who just had gotten into town on Friday and the 12V battery in my Prius appeared to be failing. I called to get an estimate on Saturday morning and told I could come in as a walk in. The price was very fair given that they carry TruStart 12V which are the best on the market with a great warranty. As soon as I arrived I was greeted immediately and asked to pull my car into the service area. I was not there more than 10 minutes until a few people had interacted with me, letting me know they would be with me shortly. Within that 10 minutes Brian Lawrence came up to me and asked what was wrong. I was quickly taken back to watch him perform a test on the battery. He gave me tips too to keep my Prius running longer since I drive a lot of highway miles. It was determined it was the 12V and I was quickly sent to the front to get the price etc. About 15 minutes later my 12V was installed, I paid and I was good to go...It was the best dealership service experience I have ever had. The place was clean and the people attentive and friendly. My adviser Xochitl was so great giving me the estimate and teaching me some more tips about my Prius. Brian Lawrences service center here at Mark Miller Toyota are wonderful...I would not hesitate to go back to get any work I need done there. Top notch experience! Thanks to Brian and Xockitl for making this happen so quickly on a busy Saturday morning!
I purchased my first car (2010 Honda Civic) at Mark Miller Toyota back in 2015. The service was excellent. And just this week I went to purchase this 2018 Jeep Compass and the service still great!
My best car-buying experience was with Mark Miller Toyota. The whole thing was a pleasure. Greg was interested in finding out what was the best deal for us, not on upgrading us and get more money out of us. We went it and came out with an awesome car and a deal that felt super fair to us. I highly recommend this dealership to anybody interested in buying a Toyota.
The easiest and most fair car buying experience I have ever had! My sales person was Greg and my finance officer was Jeff both were amazing guys and very easy to work with! And to be honest it was almost too easy! Highly recommend this dealership. I would leave more stars if it were an option.
5 stars alone just for the free to play Mario kart you guys have in there. 😄
I went to the Auto parts store at this dealership and service was outstanding, I was helped by Charles and he was knowledgeable and so patient, I got what I needed. If you go there ask for Charles at the parts store, great guy. He will help you and answer any questions you have to find the car part you need.
Thank you for your TERRIFIC service. We are traveling cross country & had a problem with our rotors & Mr. Ocean fixed us up so we could continue our trip in only a couple of hours. Well done Mark Miller Toyota.
We absolutely love our New 2021 Highlander Hybrid XLE and are extremely happy with the service we received from Mark Miller Toyota. From order to delivery it only took 30 days considering this model is super hard to get right now it shows the resources this dealership has. We received frequent updates on the status of our order which arrived exactly when Mark Miller Toyota said it would, no games or delays which is refreshing. The dealership discounted our out the door price below the sticker MSRP and they honored Toyota rebates without any hassle or push back which is crazy in this current market and left me kind of shocked. We talked with Tobin and Rick and found both guys to be very down to earth and honest, I would highly recommend working with either of these guys if you are looking for a new Toyota. Finance is always a struggle for me since I never buy the service contracts or extended warranty from the dealership but Shaun took it all in his stride even with our hyper 2 year old trying to trash his office he was kind and not pushy in the slightest. If you are in the market for a New Toyota I just couldnt recommend this dealership enough. Mark Miller did not canvas for this review or encourage us to leave one, I just felt others deserve to hear my positive experience.
Ive had nothing but excellent experiences in both sales and service from here! My recent purchase of a used 2019 Tacoma was very straightforward and Dillon, Kelly and Sean in finance took fantastic care of me and made it stress free. I recently had the oil changed and tires rotated and even though I dropped off my vehicle during a busy lunchtime, they got me out very quickly even with a carwash! Everyone who works here displays a high level of courtesy and professionalism and I cant recommend them enough for any Toyota needs!
Really good dealership. Honest and fair. Pretty cool too how voluntarily eco-friendly they are. For example they recycle water for washing cars and use the same water again and again. Also their urinals are waterless which save 40,000 gallons of water per unit per year. Im not like a crazy conservationist or anything, but it is really cool to see businesses who understand Utah as a desert and proactively do things to positively contribute to the community.
I have nothing to say as far as the sales side goes. But I am very happy with the service department. Have been getting my truck serviced here for 4 years and they have always done a good job.
Had the parts I needed. Fast install.
We bought our Highlander certified used from here and had a great experience with Samantha. She still checks in on us 3 years later! We also go here for routine maintenance and havent found myself questioning their care for our car. Ill look here again for our next Toyota.
Great service, very customer oriented dealer. A helpful, straight forward and friedly sales person.
I was able to get a last minute appointment to replace a headlight & taillight before a long 10hr drive through expected snow and fog. I asked if I could also get an oil change and they were able to squeeze me in! All in all, I was in and out in an hour. Great friendly service.
This is where I go for my vehicles for all there needs love these guys !!!
Greg is my service writer that does all my work on my car he does a good job thanks Greg
Very professional and friendly team. If I have a problem, they call me next day to try to solve the problem.
I had a great experience with Mark Miller Toyota and Ken Shaw. Ken was very patient with our time schedule and attentive to our needs and what we were looking for in a vehicle. They were very easy to work with and always helpful when we had questions. Thanks to them and Toyota’s great brand, we will continue to go to them, despite living on the other side of the valley.
I was able to buy my Highlander at this facility. They have been great to work with.
The service here is atrocious. When we called to have our car checked out, a person told us we could stop by so they could take a look at it. Several of the people there when we arrived were extremely rude, and they had our car for 2+ before they told us they couldn’t fix it and we’d have to go to a body shop. Mymother talked to the manager for that hour, Bryan, before we left to tell him about this situation. He was dismissive and treated her like a hysterical woman even though she was diplomatic and reasonable.Do better.
Very pleased with my experience and I love my new pickup
Best pricing on new Toyotas anywhere from Las Vegas to Southern Idaho, anywhere in Utah. Ask for Kupono...very helpful, friendly, no pressure. My wife and I have purchased 4 Toyotas in the last 6 years from Mark Miller!!
Just got a new car, tried other dealers, and these guys rock. Give them a try
Good sales and parts but I will be avoiding the quick lube in the future. I ALWAYS decline the tire rotation and ALWAYS have to stop them from trying to anyway. I USUALLY turn down the wash and they try to anyway, and today my wifes car sat on the backside of the bay AFTER it was serviced for 20-25 minutes because of paperwork? Im sure many are pleased with services that are routine (ie.; oil change, tire rotation, wash with nothing out of the norm), but as soon as these guys get handed something different, they fail to function. A bit of history, I have owned 9 Toyotas to include overseas, and never had an issue with a dealership; California, Germany, Alabama - NO issues. Guess I have to got o LHM...sad.
Good customer service, took care of the problem quickly for a fair price. Very convenient and good reputation. Thanks!
Just as we were preparing for vacation, the latch on our Camry glove box failed. It would not stay closed. We took it to Mark Miller Toyota in Salt Lake City this morning without an appointment. It was a unique problem, but they solved it right then while we waited. It wasn’t an easy problem to solve. This is typical of the service we have always received at their dealership. They are always courteous and helpful. We highly recommend them.
Jason helped me trade in my first car (that I bought at Mark Miller Midtown..also awesome!). My family and I out grew it and Jason got me into my new 2016 Ford explorer. I couldnt be happier! He got me into something I love! I didnt go home thinking eh its okay He was patient with me. I tried not to be too picky as I needed a third row but wanted a sunroof. he couldnt have done a better job! not to mention the final paper work with Shawn! he was amazing as well. I didnt leave thinking what did I just sign He explained everything to me. I have recommended family and friends! If I decide to get something again I know where Im going!
Both the purchasing and subsequent services at Mark Miller have been top notch. Frictionless, seriously. We love our 4Runner, one of three on our block that have been purchased at MM in the last three years. Then my brother in law went out and got one too. We also appreciate the work this business is doing with their sustainability and philanthropic programs.
On August 23, 2019 I took my Sienna to Mark Miller to replace a battery. After the service I was informed by the tech advisor that my air conditioner was noisyand it needed services costing $1500.00 dollars. I took my van to 5 AC shops for a second opinion. They all said my AC was running perfect with no noise. As a matter of fact, my AC last summer kept me freezing and it is still in perfect shape. This shop is always advising for unneeded services too numerous to repeat here.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Every time I come here for a service appointment I always have issues. I have the extended warranty and tire coverage and for some reason I always have issues. Today I had the pleasure of being helped by Jeremy and let me tell you he is the most ignorant man I have ever met. I had a scheduled appointment at 10 for a replacement for one of my tires that has a puncture in it. They sent another guy over to help and Jeremy kept waking away because he had more important things to take care of. He has terrible customer service and should be taught how to treat a customer.
It had been one week since I had gotten in a huge accident that totaled my little Toyota Corolla, my insurance had called me to let me know that I needed to return my rental the following week since they had already payed out my car with the bank. So I went to Mark Miller since that is where I had purchased my Corolla about 2 years ago with Kelly, and my experience was wonderful for my first time purchasing a car through a dealership; I defiantly had to go back! Unfortunately Kelly was out for the day, however, I did have the amazing opportunity to work with Rick! And let me tell you!!!! Rick IS incredibly amazing and has A LOT of patience. Rick helped me a lot and made sure I got what I wanted! He is amazing and made sure I felt heard and understood! When I say I test drove a lot of cars and literally walked around the whole lot, Rick and I literally did just about that! You all have a great sales man who deserves the best recognition!
What a great and easy purchase it was buying from this dealership. Im located in California and saw a Tacoma Mark Miller had listed for sale, was contacted by Steve about it and after a couple emails back and forth everything was set up very easily! Arranged the deal quickly and one week later set out to Utah to by a Tacoma from Mark Miller Toyota. After arriving, Jeff did all the paperwork with us and was very friendly and interesting to talk to! No hassle at all with this dealership, would highly recommend!
Got my oil change today. They were amazing, knowledgeable and did pressure you. They were kind and communicated very well to me on what they were doing and then washed my vehicle. We love Mark Miller and will continue to go to them.
Waited for help for over a half hour. Finally gave up on waiting.
Excellent service department. Went above and beyond!
Prius wouldnt start thought/hoped the 12v battery died. Wanted to get an original battery. Parts department couldnt test the old battery to verify if it was bad. Was shuffled off by the parts guy and someone in the middle to the first service desk to wait and see if they would show up and if one of their guys might have time to do a battery check.Waited for far too long, second dude that shuffled me off was just on his computer not with a customer, no service, no one cared so I left. Its what I would expect at Wal-Mart not a dealership. Went to AutoZone and was taken care of in under 15 minutes test included.Ive had good experiences before when I needed more major service, car was purchased from Mark Miller as well. Why doesnt the parts guy have access to a battery tester? Id like to know for sure before I pay $200 on a hunch.
What a fantastic leasing experience from start to finish. Mark Miller Toyota’s business model for selling / leasing cars is unlike anything I have experienced in the past at other dealerships. No pressure, no nonsense and no wasting hours of your time. The process is streamlined and we were on the road with a new Toyota in less than two hours, if that.Kupono Gattis, our salesman, was an absolute pleasure to do business with. He was friendly, informative and professional. Kupono made us feel at ease throughout the entire process. In fact, this is the first time I’ve left a dealership without feeling like I battled with sales/finance. I’ll even be bypassing dealerships closer to me to have Mark Miller Toyota service my car.If you’re in the market for a Toyota, make the trip to Mark Miller. Anywhere else in the greater SLC area would be a disappointment for you.
The staff here are great to work with and make buying a car a painless experience. Highly recommend Mark Miller Toyota.
My parents and I worked with Lyle when purchasing my car recently. Lyle has been the best salesman we have ever worked with. He was so helpful and answered all of our questions without ever making us feel pressured. He made sure that the car we were buying was the perfect fit for me and that we were happy with our purchase. We will be definitely referring Lyle to anyone who is looking for a car. He is a genuine and down to earth individual who we are so grateful to have had as our sales rep. Thank you Lyle!!!
Poor experience. Went in to drive a Camry or Corolla but was told they didnt have any in stock. I was open on type of car, but didnt even get the chance to describe what I wanted and was told there were no cars to test drive. Then was shown some corollas that were shipping in later next month. I thanked the sales person for their time because I didnt want to buy something I hadnt seen in person and they seemed annoyed I wasnt interested in buying today, saying I thought you were ready to buy. They didnt even go over specs with me for the corolla, rather they printed out a paper and sent me on my way. Then on the way out there was clearly a Camry hyrbid in the parking lot I could have at least looked at. I had planned on paying cash for the new car but it looks like Im taking my business elsewhere.
Call Kelly. He was our salesman and kept us updated on our order. Forerunner limited!
Fairly good. Service was good just kinda pricy. The loaner car also smelled horribly of cigarette smoke.
Semi driver threatened me for no reason. Unsafe area.
I had to stop here for an emergency repair. They quickly checked me in and took care of my car.
Top notch service. Everybody is very nice and professional. We were in there for a pre-purchase inspection of a used car. They were very thorough. So glad we did it!
Over 2 years ago I started taking my Toyota vehicle to Mark Miller for service. And continue to do so now. I have complete trust in their work, thoroughness, and ethics. Which is typical of my most recent service visit. Not only was my immediate need taken care of but another that I thought I needed to take care of myself. Thank you Brian and crew!
Service was fine and has been good in the past. The mask mandate may be over but there is no reason that customers should feel unsafe at the store. Half the customers were maskless and kept brushing by me as close as 1 foot away. No social distancing was being enforced besides some stickers on the floor, and employees and customers were talking extremely close together. Not to mention half of the employee’s masks were just gators that do not offer any real protection. I don’t know if it was just busy today or what, but I was extremely uncomfortable today inside the check out area. It took several minutes to be checked out and in that time I came into close contact with 15+ people half of them maskless. If any of them had COVID it could have EASILY spread. Plus there were maskless children around, what if they got infected? Terrible enforcement of COVID-19 safety guidelines.
Kept getting passed around. Felt like they all wanted someone else to take care of things.
Tried to get a quote using the Costco Auto program. Seems like the commission with this program isnt high enough to be worth the effort because I couldnt get them to send me the quote or respond to texts.Update: Sales manager called and apologized. I appreciated his effort.
I bought a 2017 Toyota 4Runner, Certified Used, at this dealership. Within a couple days I let the salesperson, know there was 1 interior trim piece missing and one exterior trim piece that was popping up in the wind. The salesperson committed to help us which he did for the interior piece and said to work with the service department on the exterior piece before he replaced it which seemed reasonable. I did as he suggested and the adjustment the service department made to the exterior piece did not hold up. When I let the salesperson know, he told me it was a used vehicle, and missing or malfunctioning parts were my responsibility to fix or replace and not the dealership. Maybe ultimately true, but customer satisfaction and brand for a recent purchase are not worth more than a $20 exterior trim piece to this salesperson and his sales manager. To the dealership’s credit the Assistant General Manager called me to apologize, offer to pay for the part (which I declined on principle), let me know the salesperson was fairly new to Mark Miller and maybe hadn’t understood or fully adapted to their culture, and provide his mobile phone number if I ever needed anything else.I used to think Mark Miller Toyota was different in the way they valued and treated customers. At least for this experience, they’ve proven no better than other dealerships and likely worse.I will never buy another vehicle at this dealership. It would have made a world of difference had the salesperson and sales manager called to offer what the Assistant General Manager had, but I still haven’t heard a word from them except for reminders to get my vehicle serviced there.New marketing for Mark Miller should be “Nothing Ultimately Different. Same Miserable Experience as Other Places!”
Never thought I would ever give a dealer five stars, but their service department is awesome! They spent two days trying to find what was wrong and still only charged the diagnostic fee. And they even washed my car!Everyone is always very professional whenever Im in there, and parts department is great too!
I bought a used car from them and it was a great process. The finance guy worked with me to help me get what I want. Hopefully I’ll be headed back soon (to buy a Supra). Fingers crossed...
Right option to go if you want to maintain ence your car! Very nice business place.
My husband and I needed a new reliable car. Starting with Sam online showing us virtually vehicles, to Robin and Shawn in person when we came in to purchase. This was a well organized and professional experience. Thank you! We love our new Tuscon!
Love love love this place. There is 0 pressure and the sales reps are great. I would highly recommend this place.
Bought my first new car about a month ago. My salesman Lyle was awesome to work with and put in work to find the exact Tacoma I wanted. He made the experience stress-free and didnt pressure me into anything. Overall I had a wonderful experience and would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a Toyota. I felt important and the price was fair. 10/10 would buy from them again!
Great communication and excellent experience. Service Department is competent and professional. No surprises!
I wish I could say I had a great experience with the service department at Mark Miller, but that’s simply not the case. My car was in need of an airbag replacement due to a recall. I contacted this dealership and spoke with Brian Payne who was actually very friendly and helpful. He took down my information and ordered the part needed to resolve my issue.Fast forward 1 week. I was contacted by a lady from Mark Miller and she wanted to schedule an appointment to have the new airbag installed. I told her how Brian suggested a loaner car so I wouldn’t be without transportation, and was told she would arrange that. I made an appointment and I figured everything was good to go.Fast forward another week. I called to confirm my appointment and was told that they hadn’t setup a loaner car. After 10 minutes on hold, they were able to reserve one for me. I get to the dealership, and once again was told a loaner car hadn’t been reserved for me. However after speaking with a service manager, they were able to round one up for me. I don’t know, this whole process seemed very disorganized. The main reason for this 1 star review was this vehicle report that was sent to me upon the repair being completed. They were recommending some additional repairs. The total amount for these repairs would be $1,285.76. Here is a breakdown...New Windshield = $255.00AC “Refresh” = $99.95New Cabin Air Filter= $49.952 New Tires Mount & Balance = $415.08Replace Power Steering Fluid = $109.95Replace Transmission Fluid = $209.95Replace Serpentine Belt = $145.88After speaking with my trusted mechanic, an AC “refresh” was not necessary. The power steering fluid is fine. The belt has another year or two left. My front tires just need to be rotated to the rear. The transmission fluid is not burnt or contaminated, but is slightly discolored due to the age of my vehicle. He agreed with the other suggested repairs.I was able to replace my cabin air filter for $12 and two minutes of my time. I replaced my serpentine belt out of caution for $24 and 15 minutes of my time. I had my tires rotated for $22. I was quoted $175 for a new windshield somewhere else.As you can see, some of the repairs were not necessary, while other repairs were very simple or could be done somewhere else for a small fraction of the price they quoted. I can’t help but to question the integrity of this service department. I understand that they are a business that needs to be profitable, but this behavior is nothing short of greedy.
Excellent knowledgeable staff, great care to detail. Will be back for next service.
Mark Peck was great. He took really good care of us and has done the same for my fiances family for years. Made the process not so stressful and friendly.
What a refreshing, unusual car buying experience. We decided we wanted to get a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and while downtown one day, we parked and walked around the lot at Mark Miller Toyota for a few minutes and looked at the Tacomas on the lot. After looking at two other local dealerships and online, we narrowed our search to a white SR5 4X4 Double Cab Short Bed Tacoma and saw that Mark Miller had one on the lot. We went down to look at it and met our sales person Lyle. He was very informative and answered all of our questions and let us test drive the Tacoma we were interested in. We loved the truck so we began a very short negotiation period. In minutes, Lyle, the sales manager and my wife and I agreed upon a very fair price. Then Lyle told us they had another white SR5 Tacoma on its way to the dealership and asked if we wanted that one fresh off the truck. We said sure, well take the newest one. The next morning, we went back to check out our new Tacoma and take it for a drive. After finding everything in order, Lyle took us to the finance area and in a few minutes we were through with the deal. We really like how Mark Miller explains everything they offer and that the fact they are not pushy when it comes to trying to sell you accessories and other stuff like extended warranties etc. The entire experience from working with Lyle, the finance office and everyone else at Mark Miller left us feeling excited about purchasing a new Tacoma. They have been fantastic with follow up calls to make sure we are happy and that everything is working with our Tacoma. We would highly recommend Mark Miller Toyota if you are in the market for a new Toyota vehicle. Ask for Lyle if you have questions or want to take a test drive.
Just bought a 4runner from them and it was an excellent experience, even during pandemic times. They all wore masks and were very careful with all the precautions. I wasnt in a hurry to buy, but based on the fact they werent sleazy or put on the heat (like their competitors in the south of Salt Lake Valley) I walked out as a very happy customer. I wouldnt go to any other dealer for a Toyota. Great experience.
Mark Miller Toyota Downtown has been a pleasure to work with. Buying from the dealer was great. Not only did they have the best value and the best quality of the car I wanted (and I shopped around the whole valley), but there was no pressure and my salesman Jason was very knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to work with. The service team is just as great. They are very personable and really make an effort to make sure I have a great experience every time i go there. I highly recommend this dealer for your next car purchase!
