Card with 13 question marks.My friend wrote a message in another language and sent it to this store thinking that they would print it out. Instead of doing that, thinking of some other creative idea, or even letting her know that they couldnt write a card in that language, they wrote the card with 13 question marks. I found it extremely offensive. They ignore or undermine any languages other than English. If you speak languages other than English, forget about doing business with them. This company needs to understand the cultural and linguistic diversity of our society.

My feelings are a little hurt. The cookies were beautiful but we wasted them because they delivered them a week before our delivery date. I emailed and called but they didnt respond.

My sweet friend sent our family a bouquet of the emoji cookies- sugar cookies with frosting. They were DARLING!!! The presentation was darling. However- they tasted terrible!! They tasted old and stale and had zero real flavor. I don’t know what their “gourmet” cookies taste like, but if it’s anything like the sugar cookies I would steer clear.

Short Version: I ordered cookies. They werent delivered. The company wouldnt refund my money. Fortunately, I paid using PayPal. After going through the PayPal channels, I was able to get my money back (but it took nearly three months because I kept waiting for the cookie shop to issue a refund). Id go somewhere else if youre looking for a gift.Long Version: I ordered cookies for my mother-in-law for Mothers Day. They were supposed to be delivered the Saturday before. On Saturday, my mother-in-law received a call saying the delivery person needed help with an address but didnt leave a phone number (the address is very simple, by the way, so there really shouldnt have been an issue). My mother-in-law called the number on the caller ID and left a VM. She then looked up the number for the office, called the office and left a message. No one called her back. I called on Monday after Mothers Day. They said they had her message and asked if Id like them to deliver cookies or give me a refund. Since Mothers Day was over and I didnt trust them, I asked for a refund. It never came. I called repeatedly but never got a refund. I ultimately contacted them through PayPal. They didnt respond, so I escalated it to PayPal and they found in my favor. I eventually got my refund, but it created a headache. And, worst of all, my mother-in-law never got her gift.

We love cookies by design. This year for Christmas I sent the to office staff of our contractors. I got emails emails from everyone of them raving about how wonderful they were. I even sent one to my office staff. They look exactly as pictured on the website and are yummy to! Shipping was done when I requested and its close to Christmas. Love Them!!

Cookies are way better than flowers! These guys always help me send the perfect gift. The online ordering is super easy but if youre trying to send something a little bit more complicated you can always call them and their staff is super friendly and helpful! I really appreciate the email updates so I know when my order has been delivered :-)

My girlfriend surprised me with a basket of cookies and nuts from Cookies By Design for my birthday. The basket arrived with the cookies but missing the 2 bags of nuts. This is where the worst customer experience weve ever encounter starts. My girlfriend call to inquire about the missing nuts. Her info was taken and she was told someone would get back to her the next day. Late the next day we called to check on our issue. The info that my girlfriend gave them the day before could not be found. They had to retake the information and let her know the nuts would be delivered the following Monday. Monday came and went. No nuts. Both my girlfriend and myself kept calling to speak with the manager. Every time it was an excuse of he was out for delivery, or unavailable. Every time we were reassured that he would call us back. That never happened. Finally I reach out to Cookies by Design corporate to get a resolution to our matter. My very detailed email to the corporate office has yet to be replied to. It got to the point that we had to cancel the credit card charge via the bank.The cookies tasted store bought and not gourmet like stated. My review is mainly with the service. If you are reading this please shop a local company that respects their customers. If you do go with Cookies by Design you may end up were we are now, wasted time and very dissatisfied.

What an awesome experience! They have excellent customer service. I was trying to order cookies online for my niece in west Jordan and the online site said that it would take 2 days to be delivered. I called the store and they said, they could deliver them the next day. The girl told me to continue the order online and pick the earliest delivery date which was 2 days away. She said as soon as she got the order she would change the date. She not only changed the date, she called me back about fifteen minutes later to tell me she had the order and had changed the date to be delivered the next day. That is great customer service. I used to order from Cookies by design all the time but twice in a row I had really bad service in a couple of stores in another state so I stopped ordering. This SLC store has restored my faith in Cookies by Design.

This was a fun gift to give my husband for our anniversary. Were were separated by 1200 miles on our special day and he loves sugar cookies. So ordering a cookie bouquet was a win-win! Thanks

I ordered over the phone. Super friendly and helpful. They delivered the birthday cookie to our daughter to The University of Utah on time and in perfect condition! I saw a picture of it and it looked just like the picture on line. Great gift since the university won’t accept Baloons or flowers.

I have been getting cookies from cookies by design for many years. This location does a great job. I highly recommend them. They are very kind, helpful, and always have good suggestions. Great delivery service as well

Id give it zero stars if that was possible. I was admiring the art work, trying to pick out which one i wanted to purchase, and the owner was very short and snippy. He also rushed me to pick something. During my visit i asked to use the restroom and he proceeded to tell me they didnt have a public restroom. So they had one, but they wont let customers use it, so i had to go next door to standard optical (the receptionist was very kind) and i came back, just to tell the man i was taking my business elsewhere. I recommend skipping this store if youre looking for friendly customer service- or a bathroom.

My order was delivered on time and looked beautiful. The recipient was very happy and said the cookies taste amazing. I will definitely order again!

Customer service; calling to verify address instead of just shipping out product. Family was pleased with the arrangement and the attention to detail in decorating the cookies. All cookies tasted great.

I love that this is something different than just the normal flower bouquet. My friends with kids especially love them, because the little ones get to enjoy them too!

Fabulous and so Yummy! Always a great experience. I like that I can call in and request an order to be delivered same day and depending on the time, they can do it. Cookies are always delicious and designs are awesome!

HORRIBLE! Cookie bouquet looked NOTHING like the picture that was ordered online. So of coarse, I called to complain. I was told I would get a refund once the bouquet was returned because they wanted to RE-USE the cookies! Yes, you read that right - RE-USE the cookies! This made me incredibly sick to my stomach! Not to mention like many others have stated, the owner/manager was a complete joke and was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Stay far far away!
