He explained everything to me and was able to show me step by step what was wrong with my truck. He did not upsell me anything else. He made sure that I knew what was wrong with my truck and explained everything in detail. The labor price was very reasonable. This is a great place to get heavy truck parts. I have been trying to fine a part for a ford f650 and no one could find the part, but they found the part and had it in stock. Was able to get the truck on the road after looking for this spacious part for more than a month. Very knowledgeable people in the heavy truck industry.

This is the place to go... PERIOD. I run a business and was traveling in my RV when I experienced an issue. The first thing that struck me as particularly nice, was Joe that answered in service, and was able to listen to the issue, and guide me in the right direction. He was EXTREMELY kind and courteous, as I am not a mechanic, and although not stupid, I am ignorant of many things under the hood. They got me in for a diagnostic ASAP but explained that they were probably around 35 hours out on starting new jobs due to the amount of business. This was at 7pm on Thursday. It is not 11am Friday and they have the issue fixed, which was related to a coolant leak that Aaron was able to detect fairly quickly. Brandon did the work in about an hour and a half and got me going!!! These guys listened to my situation, understood, and had the empathy to help me and get me going QUICK! Sure they could have come up with some cock and bull story about this or that, and I would probably have believed them as to what was wrong... Could have put a 1 in front of the total and I would have had no choice or really no knowledge to do anything different. They were absolutely amazing and operated with 100% integrity. Thanks guys!!!

I had a humming noise coming from my rv transmission. They serviced the trans but the noise was still there. Matt did some research and found a bulletin on freightliner identifying the noise. It turns out its the trans shifting cable vibrating.

Great place. Took my truck in to have DPF filters replaced. They gave me a price to do the job and stayed in contact with me. Found another code and called and explained it to me, before working on that code. Would recommend this shop. Julie at service desk is awesome.

When the ECM went out in my truck they were the best place to take it to get it fixed. They were very accommodating and even provided me a ride to get my pickup so I could make it to my doctors appointment. We are full time RVrs and our Rig developed a shifting issue. We called Smiths (an Allison certified shop) and made an appointment. They got us in on the scheduled time, made the diagnosis, kept us informed during the process, had the parts in stock and completed the repair in an efficient manner, including finishing up on sat morning so we could be on our way. Total time from arrival to departure-2 days. This is not the normal experience for RV repairs, but since the bulk of their clients appear to be commercial vehicles, thats probably why we got professional service.

Ben provided excellent service when we stopped in to discuss our Allison transmission. Expert service in a clean and organised shop. We are impressed!

Extending a huge thanks to Smith Power Products for destroying a motor with 50,000 miles on it and lying about it for months and trying to stick us with a $40k plus bill for their covered mistake. We really appreciated the lies, and rude attitudes all the while covering it up for nearly three months costing not only my company thousands, but our business partners as well. I wouldnt trust these people with my toddlers tricycle. We do sincerely appreciate the only honest person that we encountered for coming clean and telling us that the bus shouldnt have been driven and admitting fault.

Needed a new radiator on our diesel pusher motorhome. They located a new OEM part and after 2 day shipping was installed in a timely professional manner. We were able to continue our trip with only 4 day delay.

Stopped in here for an exhaust manifold at about 1130 at night. They were friendly and helpful. Their pricing was fair even for us showing up so late and not having an account.

We brought our Motorcoach into Smith Powe, r to diagnose a problem with a a faulty sensor, that causing it to shut the engine down on the highway. The mechanics put the code reader on in short order & the faulty sensors were replaced the same day.I would like to give a special salute to Byran & Julie in the service department. Byran helped us find a nice hotel to spend the night at. Julie was very polite, professional & just a real Sweetheart! She does her job well. I recommend that her boss give her a pay raise & en extra week of paid vacation. They both are a great asset to Smith Power...

Quik,efficient, never rude when you call to ask questions and at a reasonable prices.

All I can say is steer away from this place. Try Boise. Customer service and the cordination with the shop is lacking and so is the speed and attemt to correct a come back of any warranty work they have done (they really drag their feet, BAD). I have tried doing business with this location more than once and I am done with it. Well, after talking to Matt just now... I guess it is no better or worse than any other shop. Get to know the people at the place you are trying to do business with and do some weeding out. Ill give it a 4 star instead of a 2 star.

After truck in for repair had MAJOR fuel leak, took it back next day, they fix it again, go out to parking lot, STILL LEAKING! they fix it again.. 300 miles later its leaking again from same spot.. and ALSO have oil all over side of engine. Called so they can make a note about it so they will know when i can get it back in.. and was told they dont have any way of making a note.. so ill make one here so i have proof it happened when it did.. not happy to spend $3,200 and have two new leaks i didnt have when i took it in!!

Took a bit to work me in. But they found the problem, chased down and got the parts, fix it and got me out of the shop. 6 hours from check in to out the door. Smiles gives the service folk and mechanics 4 Paws Up.
