Love Neptune Divers everytime I go in there. So warm and welcoming. It feels like a second home. The staff is so helpful and knows what they are talking about. I was nervous to get certified but they helped me every step of the way to where I felt comfortable in the water. Great experience all around!!

Amazing shop the open water training course was awesome. Im all set to go diving in Hawaii this winter. And the gear selection is great. They made sure everything I bought fit perfect and looks good. Very happy to have them as my local dive shop.

I love this little dive shop, my wife and I got our SSI open water dive certification,and several other certifications, here and have been renting gear and having our gear serviced here for several years. They are always friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to share that knowledge with new and experienced divers and snorkelers.

This place is great. My girls and i took our cert dives today through Neptune. Loree is amazing and Kevin, one of the trainers is very patient and knows how to talk with people and get them to understand things without getting frustrated. Kevin is an asset for sure too Neptune!!!

These people are Awesome! I was there to buy a regulator and Lori suggested that I try it out in there pool first to be sure I like it. I didnt come prepared to get wet but they took care of me. Needless to say, these people take care of their customers! Ill be coming back.

I am not what you would call comfortable in the water but the instructors in our course were patient and helped me through my concerns. Completely relieving. We so enjoyed our certification that we purchased all of our gear with Lori. She spent hours with us as we decided what would suit each of our individual needs. Absolutely made the difference on our trip to have excellent instruction, the best equipment and the skills necessary to enjoy our dives. About three and a half years ago after coming back from Hawaii my family and I decided to get certified. After many e-mails back and forth and visits I decided on Neptune Divers of SLC. I was very impressed with the quality of the instruction that I and my family received. I have continued to frequent Neptune Divers for instruction and equipment. It is important to find a good place for instruction and equipment (this is life support equipment and life protecting instruction), and Neptune Divers is the place for it. I think that equipment should be acquired through a shop rather than online as it is life-support equipment and always has a warranty. The staff is friendly, both putting up with my frequent questions and ideas about diving equipment configuration, and not only is it a local business that should be supported, it feels like a SCUBA family. I am honored to have been incorporated into the fold of SCUBA divers via Neptune Divers. The staff is also extremely personable, and I have come to know them all. Matt at the store is extremely knowledgeable and patient as we discuss gear and techniques. I feel that Matt (and the staff) genuinely care for their customers, and do their best to help and further the SCUBA industry (an industry that has expanded my and my familys horizons). Definitely will continue to frequent this business, if you are thinking about starting to dive I suggest trying a SCUBA experience to see if it is for you, and if it is, this is definitely the shop for you! I took a certification class through Neptune Divers and my experience was AWESOME!!! The staff is extremely helpful and they go the extra mile to make you feel at home and to ensure you have everything that you need. The facility was convenient, clean and comfortable. During Open Water the instructor made sure everyone was safe and comfortable in our new surroundings. There was a TON to see!! We were able to see tropical angel fish, pork fish, grouper, and even a red snapper!! It was such a neat experience!! Thank you Neptune Divers for the ability to certify through you! I look forward to taking many more specialty courses in the future to add to my new SCUBA Certification!!! I feel very well equipped and trained to take on the new chapters in my life that being a SCUBA Diver will open up for me:-)!

I was certified at Neptune in 2009 and recently I took a Perfect Buoyancy class from them, the quality of instruction and service is top notch. They know how to equip you with the skills necessary to feel comfortable in your diving adventures and the knowledge to be safe. If you want an incredible diving trip, go on one of theirs! Ive been on 3 and Im signed up for 2 more, Lori and Jake know how to take the stress out of travel to other countries. The food, accommodations and the diving itself has been above and beyond my expectations! Thank you Neptune for all your expertise!

We have loved all of our interactions at Neptune Divers. Laurie worked with us and helped set up open water certification classes and an open water dive even with our limited availability. We loved our course instructor, Craig and our open water instructor, Brenda. Everyone has been awesome. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking to learn more about scuba diving or start classes.

10 years ago, I certified with Neptune Divers as a physical education requirement at the community college. Back then, the staff was friendly, the instructors were great, and I had a wonderful experience. Recently, I brought a couple of my friends to Neptune to get certified. Our experience was phenomenal. The staff was even more knowledgeable and the place still had the mom and pop sort of feel. The staff and the instructors really cared for the service and instruction that was being given by their staff. You truly felt that you were around caring family and friends. I will continue to bring family and friends to Neptune.

I want to say something about the character of the folks who own and work at this scuba school... I was working on a job site next door and drove off without my tools yesterday... I was so bummed out...couldnt do much work the next day.... I get a call that the great and wonderful people here are this scuba school had my tools and Im grateful.... If they are half as good at diving as they are at life... This is where you want to be!!

Neptune Divers is AMAZING! Everyone there has a passion for diving and its contagious. Im almost done with my certification and they have made the process so easy and fun. I would refer ANYONE here that wants to get certified. Just DO IT!

Neptune Divers is very affordable and the staff is fantastic. I completed my update course here and it was the best scuba instruction Ive ever had. Instructor Jason was extremely thorough, patient, and passionate about teaching.

I was enthralled with my certification experience! The classroom to real world application was superlative. Its a thorough, evenly paced, and inrtriging journey and Im very pleased that I certified through Neptune. The instructors are welcoming and fully supportive; and not condescending even with a person like myself who struggles with things like dive tables and such. The owners rock and you feel very comfortable and wanting desire to continue learning and diving.

I find that Im lost of words when it comes to this place. The word AMAZING does not begin to describe what I experienced at Neptune Divers. I went with a group of friends as were getting ready for a trip to Hawaii. I was terrified...shaking in my boots...as Im a horse back riding kinda gal. To get certified meant Id have to over come my fear of being under water. Swam for 10 yrs growing up though. This would be a new experience. However Neptune made me feel at home. My instructor felt like one of the family. Truly amazing staff, that are always willing to help. Scuba is a new addition to my hobby list!

My wife and I have been diving off and on since 1998...mostly off over the last few years. But recently we got bit by the bug again and needed/wanted to get set up with new gear that would be easy to travel with. Lori and Jake got us all set up, head to toe, with what we needed and our most recent dive trip was awesome because of it!Now, this took a bit of doing because were picky! Lori mostly laughed at my flip-flopping instead of getting frustrated and did things like run over to her house real quick to get her BCD so my wife could try it on. Took the first dive computer I bought back and exchanged it because my geriatric eyes couldnt see the first one, etc.... And we were able to run through all the new stuff in their pool before we headed out on vacation to make sure everything worked perfectly, which it did. Thanks a ton to Neptune for working with us to get us in the right gear! Looking forward to many years of diving fun with you!

Professional customer service oriented trainers, staff and service department. The specialties and other courses offered year round are second to none. My son has especially enjoyed the Scuba Ranger program.

Mr Temant is obviously thinking of somewhere else or flat out lying. Ive taken many classes through Neptune Divers (guaranteed Ive spent more time there than them) and the experiences were always fantastic. the facility is old but clean and very welcoming. Also, the Manager and staff are top notch and treats everyone with respect and as a friend. There are several scuba shops in SLC but Neptune is the only one I frequent; no need to go anywhere else. Plus you wont get better instruction anywhere. Keep up the good work!

Very bad experience. It took me all of 2 mins to learn they dont want Black people there.I was talking to the owner, explaining my upcoming trip to Belize, when my wife walked in, who is Asian, and the Owner stopped talking to me and started a conversation with my wife leaving me totally ignored. I am positive that this woman had no idea that she was talking to my wife. I decided not to buy from her and left her store. Moments later, my wife and child also left. Guess I should know better. As a black man in SLC, better to let someone else do the talking.

This shop has 100% changed my life, and let me be a part of their amazing dive family. From the second I walked into the store, I was greeted with smiles and friendliness. When I certified in 2010, I had an excellent instructor, Lynne Findlay. He was extremely knowledgable and had an extensive background in the field. The class only had 2 other students, so we had ample time to practice and make sure that each of our skills were perfect before we moved on. Throughout the class I got to know the owners very well, and they treated me like a little sister, I loved it, to the point that I didnt want to walk out of the shop and never return. I was hooked, for sure. I signed up for one of their monthly Dive-alongs and went to Sand Hollow and had an amazing experience diving with 15 other divers, all associated with the shop. Lori, one of the owners, remembers just about everyone and their story, so it was refreshing to come into a store, run by a family, that remembers your name, face, story, and scuba abilities. They never try to aggressively sell to you, instead theyre honest and upfront about what you actually need. They found my first mask, give me a killer discount, and Ive been coming back ever since and buying more and more gear. Ive taken one class at 2 other shops, and found them to be completely opposite of Neptune. Theres a reason when you come into the shop, its full of SCUBA friends.

Every time I go in there I call ahead find out what my bill is I show up to pay it and its usually 20 the $30 more. today I went in to pick up my gear and it was $60 more I will no longer be having any of my service done their or buying any of their product.

This shop uses SSI, which will actually provide good, safe training. I avoid shops that use PADI guidelines.

Quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever had. Called to get information on open water certification dives and when I tried to schedule a time he would not give me any information about scheduling until I gave him my credit card number. I explained to him that we would be driving from Denver and I needed to make sure our dates would work before paying for anything, but he replied that he did not want to do anything to try and schedule us until I payed him almost $500, while speaking to me in a condescending tone like I was stupid to even think he would try to accommodate. We will be taking our business elsewhere where it would be unacceptable to treat a customer and future diver with such arrogance and disdain.
