Stone Depot was great to deal with when purchasing our kitchen counter top. John was hilarious. Betty and John were very friendly and great to work with. Their prices were very competitive, John was on time and expeditious.Not only would we recommend them but we actually did to my wifes friend and she also ended up purchasing from Stone Depot. Stone Depot had answers to our concerns to put us at ease. Would definitely go to them again. Thank you for our beautiful counter top. IT LOOKS AWESOME! I had a plan of what I wanted and she helped me fit it all into my new kitchen reno. She revised my layout numerous times (without complaint) until I was happy.After choosing the cabinet sizes and layout, Betty helped me pick the perfect piece of quartz for my countertops.Their installers we incredibly prompt, accommodating, professional, and efficient.I would highly recommend Stone Depot to anyone!!

We were very pleased by our experience with Stone Depot. They replaced the countertops in the kitchen and three bathrooms. They were timely, efficient and showed excellent craftsmanship. They were also helpful and good to work with. We would gladly recommend them.

Be very, very careful with this company. We were planning with going with Stone Depot and even sent two sinks to them for measurement. Ultimately, due to another company being able to do both the counters and backsplash, we went another direction. the Stone Depot team literally stole our sinks. Said someone else picked them up when the installers went to pick them up. this company will literally steal your money. the decision is ultimately yours, but be very careful. We are going to work with the police to follow up but this company CANNOT be trusted. Despite a good discussion up to the end....they are not good suppliers....please, be careful and thoughtful. The positive is that now that I see all of the negative results....I cannot even imagine what would have happened when they do a terrible job to get your money back. At least now I am only out $400 until the police get it back.

We got our counter tops re-done by Stone Depot and are very happy with the result. It’s a busy time of the year and Betty did a great job of staying present with us and accommodating our questions while the project was being completed. We absolutely recommend Stone Depot for anyone in the market.

We used Stone Depot to replace our countertops earlier this year. We went with them based off a previous family members recommendation. It seems staffing has changed as the person my family had worked with was no longer there. Pricing was fair and they had a good selection of options, install happened quickly too. We were very happy initially, until we realized post install the countertops were not level - not even close. One end was over an inch lower than the other, and we have a small kitchen so its really noticeable.The experience went south when we contacted them to ask about options for remedying the problem. They hung up the phone several times on us. We were not being unreasonable, simply looking for solutions to the issue. Eventually my husband got them to stay on the phone long enough to agree to putting a backsplash piece that would give the illusion of even countertops to the untrained eye. This was not free of charge, we offered to pay for this install so we could have the project done.That was in early November. Since that time they have promised to finish the backsplash install several times and have simply not shown up. They ignore our phone calls and texts. Weve even driven to the business to talk and theyve been closed. My husband and I work with contractors all the time as we are remodeling most of our house and cannot remember being so disappointed with the craftsmanship and customer service of a company. I do not make a habit of reviewing online, this is probably my first business review, but I feel its my only defense at this point in the process. Based off our experience I would not recommend Stone Depot to anyone.

I have done my restroom and kitchen remodeling with this store. Very professional quality! Also their price is the most competitive among all the store bids I got. Unlike most local stores that sell their products by either out sourcing the work or to resource granites from the market, this store has its own inventory and workers right on site. Its the all in one place that can save you lots of effort and money. Highly recommended.

Stone Depot cut and installed four 70 granite bathroom vanity tops in my home. They were great to work with and were able to move up my installation date by more than a week than originally quoted. I had an issue with one of the tops and they remedied the problem to my satisfaction. The installers were superb; they really knew what they were doing and were very professional, courteous and clean (put down floor padding). I did have them quote a wet bar counter top for my basement and I thought the bid was high; at least higher than I anticipated based on the pricing for the four bathroom vanity tops, so I bid it out and saved $350 with another reputable company. I would recommend this company but also worth bidding if the price seems higher than you expected.

I must say its the best place to get the countertop that you want! We purchased granite and marble from Stone Depot. They are both extremely appealing with very high quality. The installation was up to the highest professional standard. The installers did everything to meet our requirements. We are satisfied with absolutely everything. Our kitchen and bathrooms are now pure eye-candy. This business are amazing!

Stone Depot is our go to counter top company. We remodeled our house, now rental property, 10 years ago. The counter top made the whole living room looking elegant and upscale. Now finishing our new houses basement, I found the perfect piece to match up my floor and wall colors. They have so many inventories to chose from and they are very knowledgeable in different types of stones, which is very useful when choosing the right material for the right use.

The process and installation went smoothly. The installers did a wonderful job, keeping my house clean and the granite seams look great. Only giving them a 4 star instead of 5 because my granite has a 2 mm chip on the surface. We also did NOT have a chance to choose our specific slab, just the type of slab, even if we asked. This could have been prevented if we chose our slab and made sure that there are not chips.

Wonderful people, and a very fast turnaround time. I had selected another granite but due to flooring changes I had change it. No problem, they were a delight to work with.

I tried to call here for a bid. Clearly, the person I was talking to doesnt understand how pricing works - she implied at one point that I could just purchase the product myself from Cosmos...which isnt how it works since they only sell to fabricators. I had been referred to this business by a friend, but if within the first few minutes of a conversation they are unable to be helpful, then I cant even imagine what the rest of my experience would be like here.

I have been working with stone Depot for years. I am the owner of All Utah Plumbing, Heating & Air, and we only go to these guys for our clients countertops. Always professional and attention to detail. Also they explain different options and products to full understanding of finished project. I also appreciate how they treat myself and our clients through the process of choosing the countertop. I highly recommend Stone Depot.

Very unprofessional and does bad work. They put the seam in the granite where they told me it would look WORST and didnt cut it in the place where they said it would look its best. It looked terrible and made by drawer and cabinet look off center. The seam was matte so it stood out and made it look worse. The calking they put in was white and should of been tan.....I had to have it re-calked so it didnt look bad next to tan walls. The walls are tan and the granite was tan. Why they would use white do not make sense. I would find another granite place and ask for references. These people do BAD WORK and are rude when it comes to payment and threatened to take it to collections even after we paid in full. Their staff doesnt communicate apparently. Steer clear!

Very poor product. Kitchen island granite top developed cracks. Store owners give me the Oh well look. A thicker base on the 1/2 granite may have been a good start. Or a recommendation to go with 3/4. Now were stuck w/ garbage. Next time, its Corian. Dont trust their smiling faces.

Staff is very happy and excited to get your business, but then you dont get what you pay for. They are happy to take your money even when there are major mistakes in their work. Bad seems, dripping glue down my brand new cabinets, scrapped up my brand new cabinet fronts, white calk that didnt match anything in the kitchen, and above all poor customer service. Not a company that you want to do business with. Unprofessional and bad work.

I am BEYOND grateful for the Stone Depot! I’m 8 months pregnant and we’ve been remodeling my kitchen for the past two months. The finishing piece was to have my countertops ordered and put in.Yenny Cao helped us in the showroom and I loved her! She was so nice, greeted us right away and had so much energy with her personality! We went on a day that was snowing and she went out in the cold with us to look at our Granite options!!We picked one out a few different ones and she gave us a price quotes with our sink too, which I loved it was one less place to stop! 👏🏻👏🏻I’m sure someone canceled, but they happened to have an opening the next day to come out and measure, and our countertops were installed just yesterday, only two weeks after picking it out! My husband was thrilled that the guys that actually cut the countertops were the guys that installed it. They laid down tarps on our floors, so they weren’t tracking dirt or snow in from outside. After they installed the countertops, they went through the edges to make sure they were smooth. My husband asked them how we seal it, what products to use and they were very knowledgeable on where to buy the products and how to do it for the future.The entire process was so smooth, easy, and everyone has great customer service that we dealt with! I will be recommending this place to everyone I know!!

Great experience. Shopped around several SLC shops for a granite countertop; Stone Depot handily had the best price, best customer service, best turnaround time (template to install in 7 days) -- and it looks awesome. Highly recommend.

I was referred to Stone Depot by a friend who had just used them for her remodel. She was referred by her parents who had Stone Depot do their home a few years ago. I was able to see the work they had done in both homes and it was beautiful. The family had nothing but praises to sing. So, I went with Stone Depot and had the same wonderful experience they raved about. Yenny was so easy to work with. I sent her the kitchen plan and she worked with me to get exactly what I envisioned. The white quartz turned out perfect and looks practically seamless (general word of caution for those wanting granite with a bolder pattern in it—you’ll always have noticeable seams—that’s why I chose a solid color). The best part was the template was taken on a Thursday and they installed the next Wednesday! I couldn’t find anyone else that had a 6 day turn around! They were on time the day they installed and had it done in half a day! Plus they were cheaper than almost everyone I researched! Yenny even text me the next day when I asked for any care instructions. I was so impressed with my experience here! To those reading the bad reviews and getter nervous—don’t let it sway you. I was nervous but had seen the work in two homes already and couldn’t find a better price so I took the risk and was so happy I did (plus you should always go see your stone and communicate about your caulk color—Yenny invited me by when my slab arrived at their store, sent me pictures of it several times, and responded to every email I sent with questions and changes within an hour or so of sending each email—she made it effortless to get what I wanted). Also, no sticker shock—I paid exactly what I was quoted and not a penny more. I was very happy with everything.

A friend of mine recommended Stone Depot on 3rd W, 21st S. when I was starting my remodeling project. I stopped in one day, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Yenny was so kind and seemed very experienced with what she does. She walked us through the cabinet, sink, and granite options available. She gave us some samples for us to bring home so we could make an informed decision. They offered many recommendations, because I did not know exactly what I wanted in terms of the stone and style, and they made my remodeling experience very easy and stress-free. I ended up choosing the Maple Antic White cabinet (which was beautiful), a White 3 cm with Ogee double bullnose and a farm house sink, giving me a modern look in my new home. My kitchen looks absolutely beautiful with the stainless steel hood setting. Thank you so much Stone Depot! and Thank You So Much Yenny. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who looks for exotic granite with complete remodel solution!

I waited 15 months for my granite countertop. Never could get any one to call me back then they tried to give me a countertop that I didnt order

Unprofession and rude. Tried to sell me a countertop that had a large crack in it and then tried to tell me it was normal when i told them it was unacceptable and wanted it fixed or changed Fong became very rude and started yelling.
