Fun ice cream place with some unique flavors and great decor. The ice cream was not as good and creamy as Farr Better ice cream but it was still good. I really enjoyed my Cookie Monster ice cream on top of a warm chocolate chip cookie! You can also make a cookie ice cream sandwich or just have a scoop if you so choose. The cookie was the best part of it and they will top it off with whip cream and other toppings if you like!

We came here for first time two weeks ago. We had strawberry nutella and fruity pebbles ice cream. I love the strawberry nutella ice cream. Fruity pebbles are okay. But love the interior of pink everywhere inside the establishment. Good service and affordable price. Well comeback for more :) and thank you for having us.

We went to Penguin Brothers last Saturday and it was SO GOOD! The staff was super helpful. The pink decor and building are unique and fun. It was packed, which is just a sign that it’s delicious.

The cookies and ice cream are both top notch quality, a truly amazing feat to achieve for me considering how my standards for both food groups are so high theyre brutal. We caught these kids right at closing and the service was incredibly fast. Portion sizes are perfect, big enough to be satisfying yet not death-by-sugar huge, the best size to complement a meal without being one. We will definitely be back for the fresh baked a la mode!

Wasnt expecting much but this place was so much fun and their honeycomb ice cream was phenomenal. You get so much ice cream for what you pay for. Well definitely be coming back.

Good ice cream and cookies, sub par service. The two employees were visibly less than enthusiastic to serve us, both had hair that hung over their faces as they scooped ice cream. One of our orders was placed on the counter with hair in it, and the response was a nonverbal, “let me pull that out so you can eat it”. We had to ask for a replacement - a request that seemed to put them out on a slow Wednesday night.We’re definitely in no rush to return to this shop. I’ll stick to hitting up Penguin Bros when I see the truck.

Nice little spot I ran into just walking the neighborhood as I just moved back in the area. Each attendant I interacted with was patient and personable. The recommendations given were excellent. I highly recommend the honeycomb ice cream with oatmeal cookie. Different and very tasty. I highly recommend this spot.

I had one of the penguin brothers ice cream sandwiches at an event before, and was excoted to hear that the shop opened in sugarhouse. The simple menu, and diverse choices were all great. I would highly recommend stopping in for a visit, as the prices are good, and the sandwiches are fantastic.

Saw in reviews that they had non-dairy options and was disappointed to find they only carry 1. None of the cookie options have a dairy-free option either, sadly.The peanut butter Oreo was good, but I probably wont be back unless they start adding more options, despite living in walking distance.Probably an unpopular opinion, but Id also like to see a smaller serving size option - the smallest, the single is practically a pint.Prices are great, and service was A+.

Such a cute place! We went here for the first time and we will be back. Located in Sugarhouse area behind Millies Burgers. Perfect for a date night dessert. I felt that the prices for a gourmet dessert were very reasonable as compared to other dessert places. I paid $5 for my ice cream sandwich and it was worth every penny. There was plenty of seating. The pink phone booth also made for a cute photo op. I had the Dark Salted Chocolate between to chocolate chip cookies. It was absolute perfection!

Uh, this was pretty great. Its hard to do the cookie ice cream sandwich correctly. There was The Baked Bear, but everything tasted like ice and vanilla. The Penguin Brothers do a great job of combining flavors and creating an ice cream social in your mouth. I love how they mix and match cookies and the ice cream is amazing. I am told they use Rockwell Ice Cream for their cookies, which makes sense, thats a really good ice cream place so adding the right cookies is all it took.

I think what sets Penguin Brothers apart from the other ice cream and cookie places is the quality. The flavors are not only creative and inventive but they are also delicious. The ice cream is so creamy and not overly sweet. The cookies are decadent and compliment the cookies perfectly. We had the cookie monster pizookie and the mint Oreo cookie with the double fudge cookie. Both were awesome. Location is great service was excellent. Will be coming again.

Not worth the try. Overly priced, small servings, and not good tasting ice cream.Experience:Staff made my first order, then left it on the counter while I was down by the register. Just discovered this place. They have different selection of flavors like strawberry nutella, biscoff, almond joy, cookie monster, and others. The biscoff in double fudge cookie was good.

This place absolutely deserves 5 stars but why are they always out of options? Does no one have he foresight to start cooking some cookies when they are running low? I always feel so bad for how stressed the workers look, hire someone to help out in the evenings or I’ll start getting gelato instead.

Years ago I used whenever I was in Las Vegas I would stop by the Toll House Cookie shops and get an ice cream sandwich made with their cookies. It was something I would look forward to on a hot day. Now that I’ve discovered Penguin Brothers, I don’t have any more reason to go to Vegas. These guys have great cookies to make their ice cream sandwiches with and a variety of ice cream flavors to choose from. It’s even better that they offer a couple of different sizes (lil bro and big bro). So, if you’re in the mood for an afternoon snack instead of a full dessert you can swing by to satisfy your sweet tooth. They have a couple of signature flavors to choose from but I usually choose to create my own, my favorite so far is the chocolate cookies with the peanut butter Oreo ice cream. Give it a try, you’ll be glad you did.

I got an ice cream sandwich and honestly didnt love either the cookies or the ice cream. My wife got the pizookie and that looked a little better.

The ice cream was freezer burned (ice crystals) and the chocolate cookies tasted really bad. Like they messed the recipe up. How do you mess up chocolate chip cookies?Look elsewhere for good ice cream.

This place is really cute, but the cookies are SO sweet, like too sweet. And this might be solely a pizookie issue, but the cookie was not cooked all the way through, only cooked on the edges. The cookie was very grainy since it was pure dough in the middle.

Seriously shocked at how many good reviews they have! I got muddy buddy ice cream and most of it was big HUGE frozen chunks of peanut butter. There was literally only 3 check mix in my whole cup. My husband got a pizookie and it was gross. It wasnt freshly baked and the cookie texture was really grainy. I give it two stars because the vibes of place is fun.

Oh gosh, found this place when we saw another dessert place close by was closed. Soooo glad we did. Nice little building, awesome employee asked if wed been there and gave a quick and concise run down of the offerings, and the cookies were GOOD! I got the little warm choc chip cookie with ice cream and wife got an ice cream sandi. My cookie pie thing was amazing, warm, gooey, and a certain texture that I dream about. Wifes cookies/ice cream were good, though one cookie was not as soft as the other (actually kind of hard which she didnt like). Will be back for sure!

I really like all the ice cream flavors and that they allow you to use a different cookie flavor for your ice cream sandwich! Gotta be careful with the ice cream sandwich combos though because it can get a little too sweet for me personally because some of the cookies are really sweet. Overall though it’s a great atmosphere for a date or hanging out with friends! On top of that, the service is AWESOME! The employees are so kind and helpful! Gotta check this place out!

They’re not shy on how much they give you. Really sweet employees and very cheerful! There cookie sandwich was delicious but very sweet and filling, so I would recommend ordering the cookies on the side. ( so you can save the cookies for later ) Over all really tasty! The Penguin Brothers were one of the main reasons I was excited to move to Provo, honestly! I love the movie stills with ice cream sandwiches photoshopped in, the penguin mural, the bow ties, the LEGO figurines...It is all so imaginative, colorful, and fun. The Ice Cream is not very good flavor wise, and the smallest size for ice cream is $5.Staff was really nice and chill - they let me try every flavor, but none of them were good. They request flavors to a producer, so interesting options, but actual taste-wise none of them tasted fresh or good.Maybe it would have been better as a cookie sandwich or with brownies, but the couple I was with got two $15 items, and they both said it was way too sweet and not very good.The other locations (I was in Salt Lake) might be better?

I’m honestly not sure what the hype is about. Many great options elsewhere and we weren’t super impressed with the service. We’ve visited a few times and have been largely disappointed each time. To be fair, some ice cream (e.g., the peppermint Oreo) is pretty good. BUT *none* of it is worth the price though - yikes! Part of my personal disappointment is rooted in the fact the honeycomb ice cream is not honeycomb ice cream. It is just honey ice cream. Honeycomb ice cream is a staple at many shops around this world, what Penguin Brother’s serves is certainly not it. Secondly, the pizookies are just not good — we’ve had at least three. The cookie to ice cream ratio is drastically off; one scoop of ice cream with a huge thick, not fully (or even freshly!) baked cookie. To be fair, I grew up eating the original pizookie at BJs, so my standards are high, but even so these terrible miss the mark. (Also, any pizookie connoisseur knows “Pizookie” is trademarked by BJs, so probably also rename it to avoid a potential lawsuit?). Lastly, the muddy buddy ice cream is not actually ice cream... it’s muddy buddy with bits of ice cream in it. If you want actual ice cream, don’t get it.
